- こういうわけで， このように 多くの 證人たちが， 雲のように 私たちを 取り 卷いているのですから， 私たちも， いっさいの 重荷とまつわりつく 罪とを 捨てて， 私たちの 前に 置かれている 競走を 忍耐をもって 走り 續けようではありませんか．
- 信仰の 創始者であり， 完成者である イエス から 目を 離さないでいなさい． イエス は， ご 自分の 前に 置かれた 喜びのゆえに， はずかしめをものともせずに 十字架を 忍び， 神の 御座の 右に 着座されました．
- あなたがたは， 罪人たちのこのような 反抗を 忍ばれた 方のことを 考えなさい． それは， あなたがたの 心が 元氣を 失い， 疲れ 果ててしまわないためです．
- あなたがたはまだ， 罪と 戰って， 血を 流すまで 抵抗したことがありません．
- そして， あなたがたに 向かって 子どもに 對するように 語られたこの 勸めを 忘れています． 「わが 子よ． 主の 懲らしめを 輕んじてはならない． 主に 責められて 弱り 果ててはならない．

- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
- Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

- 主はその 愛する 者を 懲らしめ， 受け 入れるすべての 子に， むちを 加えられるからである． 」
- 訓練と 思って 耐え 忍びなさい． 神はあなたがたを 子として 扱っておられるのです． 父が 懲らしめることをしない 子がいるでしょうか．
- もしあなたがたが， だれでも 受ける 懲らしめを 受けていないとすれば， 私生子であって， ほんとうの 子ではないのです．
- さらにまた， 私たちには 肉の 父がいて， 私たちを 懲らしめたのですが， しかも 私たちは 彼らを 敬ったのであれば， なおさらのこと， 私たちはすべての 靈の 父に 服從して 生きるべきではないでしょうか．
- なぜなら， 肉の 父親は， 短い 期間， 自分が 良いと 思うままに 私たちを 懲らしめるのですが， 靈の 父は， 私たちの 益のため， 私たちをご 自分の 聖さにあずからせようとして， 懲らしめるのです．

- because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."
- Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
- If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
- Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!
