- そして， 多くの 者が 彼らの 好色にならい， そのために 眞理の 道がそしりを 受けるのです．
- また 彼らは， ·欲なので， 作り 事のことばをもってあなたがたを 食い 物にします． 彼らに 對するさばきは， 昔から 怠りなく 行なわれており， 彼らが 滅ぼされないままでいることはありません．
- 神は， 罪を 犯した 御使いたちを， 容赦せず， 地獄に 引き 渡し， さばきの 時まで 暗やみの 穴の 中に 閉じ ¿めてしまわれました．
- また， 昔の 世界を 赦さず， 義を 宣べ 傳えた ノア たち 八人の 者を 保護し， 不敬 ·な 世界に 洪水を 起こされました．

- But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
- Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
- In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
- For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;
- if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;

- また， ソドム と ゴモラ の 町を 破滅に 定めて 灰にし， 以後の 不敬 ·な 者へのみせしめとされました．
- また， 無節操な 者たちの 好色なふるまいによって 惱まされていた 義人 ロト を 救い 出されました．
- というのは， この 義人は， 彼らの 間に 住んでいましたが， 不法な 行ないを 見聞きして， 日¿その 正しい 心を 痛めていたからです．
- これらのことでわかるように， 主は， 敬 ·な 者たちを 誘惑から 救い 出し， 不義な 者どもを， さばきの 日まで， 懲罰のもとに 置くことを 心得ておられるのです．
- 汚れた 情欲を 燃やし， 肉に 從って 步み， 權威を 侮る 者たちに 對しては， 特にそうなのです． 彼らは， 大膽不敵な， 尊大な 者たちで， 榮譽ある 人たちをそしって， 恐れるところがありません．

- if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
- and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men
- (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--
- if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.
- This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings;

- それに 比べると， 御使いたちは， 勢いにも 力にもまさっているにもかかわらず， 主の 御前に 彼らをそしって 訴えることはしません．
- ところがこの 者どもは， 捕えられ 殺されるために 自然に 生まれついた， 理性のない 動物と 同じで， 自分が 知りもしないことをそしるのです． それで 動物が 滅ぼされるように， 彼らも 滅ぼされてしまうのです．
- 彼らは 不義の 報いとして 損害を 受けるのです． 彼らは ¿のうちから 飮み ¿ぐことを 樂しみと 考えています． 彼らは， しみや 傷のようなもので， あなたがたといっしょに 宴席に 連なるときに 自分たちのだましごとを 樂しんでいるのです．
- その 目は 淫行に 滿ちており， 罪に 關しては 飽くことを 知らず， 心の 定まらない 者たちを 誘惑し， その 心は 欲に 目がありません． 彼らはのろいの 子です．
- 彼らは 正しい 道を 捨ててさまよっています． 不義の 報酬を 愛した ベオル の 子 バラム の 道に 從ったのです．

- yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord.
- But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.
- They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.
- With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed--an accursed brood!
- They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness.

- この 人たちは， 水のない 泉， 突風に 吹き 拂われる 霧です． 彼らに 用意されているものは， まっ 暗なやみです．
- 彼らは， むなしい 大言壯語を 吐いており， 誤った 生き 方をしていて， ようやくそれをのがれようとしている 人¿を 肉欲と 好色によって 誘惑し，
- その 人たちに 自由を 約束しながら， 自分自身が 滅びの 奴隷なのです． 人はだれかに 征服されれば， その 征服者の 奴隷となったのです．
- 主であり 救い 主である イエス · キリスト を 知ることによって 世の 汚れからのがれ， その 後再びそれに 卷き ¿まれて 征服されるなら， そのような 人たちの 終わりの 狀態は， 初めの 狀態よりももっと 惡いものとなります．

- But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey--a beast without speech--who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness.
- These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them.
- For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.
- They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.
- If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

- 義の 道を 知っていながら， 自分に 傳えられたその 聖なる 命令にそむくよりは， それを 知らなかったほうが， 彼らにとってよかったのです．
- 彼らに 起こったことは， 「犬は 自分の 吐いた 物に 戾る． 」とか， 「豚は 身を 洗って， またどろの 中にころがる． 」とかいう， ことわざどおりです．

- It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
- Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit,"and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."
