- 愚かなはかりごとは 罪だ． あざける 者は 人に 忌みきらわれる．
- もしあなたが 苦難の 日に 氣落ちしたら， あなたの 力は 弱い．
- 捕えられて 殺されようとする 者を 救い 出し， 虐殺されようとする 貧困者を 助け 出せ．
- もしあなたが， 「私たちはそのことを 知らなかった． 」と 言っても， 人の 心を 評價する 方は， それを 見拔いておられないだろうか． あなたのたましいを 見守る 方は， それを 知らないだろうか． この 方はおのおの， 人の 行ないに 應じて 報いないだろうか．

- The schemes of folly are sin, and men detest a mocker.
- If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength!
- Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
- If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?

- 惡者よ． 正しい 人の 住まいをねらうな． 彼のいこいの 場所を 荒らすな．
