- もう 一つのたとえを 聞きなさい． ひとりの， 家の 主人がいた． 彼はぶどう 園を 造って， 垣を 巡らし， その 中に 酒ぶねを 掘り， やぐらを 建て， それを 農夫たちに 貸して， 旅に 出かけた．
- さて， 收穫の 時が 近づいたので， 主人は 自分の 分を 受け 取ろうとして， 農夫たちのところへしもべたちを 遣わした．
- すると， 農夫たちは， そのしもべたちをつかまえて， ひとりは 袋だたきにし， もうひとりは 殺し， もうひとりは 石で 打った．
- そこでもう 一度， 前よりももっと 多くの 別のしもべたちを 遣わしたが， やはり 同じような 扱いをした．
- しかし， そのあと， その 主人は， 『私の 息子なら， 敬ってくれるだろう． 』と 言って， 息子を 遣わした．

- Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
- And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
- And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
- Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
- But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

- すると， 農夫たちは， その 子を 見て， こう 話し 合った． 『あれはあと 取りだ． さあ， あれを 殺して， あれのものになるはずの 財産を 手に 入れようではないか． 』
- そして， 彼をつかまえて， ぶどう 園の 外に 追い 出して 殺してしまった．
- このばあい， ぶどう 園の 主人が 歸って 來たら， その 農夫たちをどうするでしょう． 」
- 彼らは イエス に 言った． 「その 惡黨どもを 情け 容赦なく 殺して， そのぶどう 園を， 季節にはきちんと 收穫を 納める 別の 農夫たちに 貸すに 違いありません． 」
- イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「あなたがたは， 次の 聖書のことばを 讀んだことがないのですか． 『家を 建てる 者たちの 見捨てた 石． それが 礎の 石になった． これは 主のなさったことだ． 私たちの 目には， 不思議なことである． 』

- But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
- And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
- When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
- They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
- Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

- だから， わたしはあなたがたに 言います． 神の 國はあなたがたから 取り 去られ， 神の 國の 實を 結ぶ 國民に 與えられます．
- また， この 石の 上に 落ちる 者は， 粉¿に ¿かれ， この 石が 人の 上に 落ちれば， その 人を 粉みじんに 飛ばしてしまいます． 」
- 祭司長たちと パリサイ 人たちは， イエス のこれらのたとえを 聞いたとき， 自分たちをさして 話しておられることに 氣づいた．
- それで イエス を 捕えようとしたが， 群衆を 恐れた． 群衆は イエス を 預言者と 認めていたからである．

- Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
- And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
- And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
- But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
