- 神の 子 イエス · キリスト の 福音のはじめ．
- 預言者 イザヤ の 書にこう 書いてある． 「見よ． わたしは 使いをあなたの 前に 遣わし， あなたの 道を 整えさせよう．
- 荒野で 叫ぶ 者の 聲がする． 『主の 道を 用意し， 主の 通られる 道をまっすぐにせよ． 』」そのとおりに，
- バプテスマ の ヨハネ が 荒野に 現われて， 罪が 赦されるための 悔い 改めの バプテスマ を 說いた．
- そこで ユダヤ 全國の 人¿と エルサレム の 全住民が 彼のところへ 行き， 自分の 罪を 告白して， ヨルダン 川で 彼から バプテスマ を 受けていた．

- The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
- As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
- The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
- John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
- And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

- ヨハネ は， ラクダ の 毛で 織った 物を 着て， 腰に 皮の 帶を 締め， いなごと 野蜜を 食べていた．
- 彼は 宣べ 傳えて 言った． 「私よりもさらに 力のある 方が， あとからおいでになります． 私には， かがんでその 方のくつのひもを 解く 値うちもありません．
- 私はあなたがたに 水で バプテスマ を 授けましたが， その 方は， あなたがたに 聖靈の バプテスマ をお 授けになります． 」
- そのころ， イエス は ガリラヤ の ナザレ から 來られ， ヨルダン 川で， ヨハネ から バプテスマ をお 受けになった．
- そして， 水の 中から 上がられると， すぐそのとき， 天が 裂けて 御靈が 鳩のように 自分の 上に 下られるのを， ご 覽になった．

- And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;
- And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
- I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
- And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
- And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

- そして 天から 聲がした． 「あなたは， わたしの 愛する 子， わたしはあなたを 喜ぶ． 」
- そしてすぐ， 御靈は イエス を 荒野に 追いやられた．
- イエス は 四十日間荒野にいて， サタン の 誘惑を 受けられた． 野の ¿とともにおられたが， 御使いたちが イエス に 仕えていた．
- ヨハネ が 捕えられて 後， イエス は ガリラヤ に 行き， 神の 福音を 宣べて 言われた．
- 「時が 滿ち， 神の 國は 近くなった． 悔い 改めて 福音を 信じなさい． 」

- And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
- And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness.
- And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
- Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
- And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

- ガリラヤ 湖のほとりを 通られると， シモン と シモン の 兄弟 アンデレ が 湖で 網を 打っているのをご 覽になった． 彼らは 漁師であった．
- イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「わたしについて 來なさい． 人間をとる 漁師にしてあげよう． 」
- すると， すぐに， 彼らは 網を 捨て 置いて 從った．
- また 少し 行かれると， ゼベダイ の 子 ヤコブ とその 兄弟 ヨハネ をご 覽になった． 彼らも 舟の 中で 網を 繕っていた．
- すぐに， イエス がお 呼びになった． すると 彼らは 父 ゼベダイ を 雇い 人たちといっしょに 舟に 殘して， イエス について 行った．

- Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
- And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
- And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.
- And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.
- And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

- それから， 一行は カペナウム にはいった． そしてすぐに， イエス は 安息日に 會堂にはいって 敎えられた．
- 人¿は， その 敎えに 驚いた． それは イエス が， 律法學者たちのようにではなく， 權威ある 者のように 敎えられたからである．
- すると， すぐにまた， その 會堂に 汚れた 靈につかれた 人がいて， 叫んで 言った．
- 「ナザレ の 人 イエス ． いったい 私たちに 何をしようというのです． あなたは 私たちを 滅ぼしに 來たのでしょう． 私はあなたがどなたか 知っています． 神の 聖者です． 」
- イエス は 彼をしかって， 「默れ． この 人から 出て 行け． 」と 言われた．

- And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.
- And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
- And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
- Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
- And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

- すると， その 汚れた 靈はその 人をひきつけさせ， 大聲をあげて， その 人から 出て 行った．
- 人¿はみな 驚いて， 互いに 論じ 合って 言った． 「これはどうだ． 權威のある， 新しい 敎えではないか． 汚れた 靈をさえ 戒められる． すると 從うのだ． 」
- こうして， イエス の 評判は， すぐに， ガリラヤ 全地の 至る 所に 廣まった．

- And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
- And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
- And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.
