- イエス はまた 湖のほとりで 敎え 始められた． おびただしい 數の 群衆がみもとに 集まった． それで イエス は 湖の 上の 舟に 乘り， そこに 腰をおろされ， 群衆はみな 岸べの 陸地にいた．
- イエス はたとえによって 多くのことを 敎えられた． その 敎えの 中でこう 言われた．
- 「よく 聞きなさい． 種を 蒔く 人が 種蒔きに 出かけた．
- 蒔いているとき， 種が 道ばたに 落ちた． すると， 鳥が 來て 食べてしまった．
- また， 別の 種が 土の 薄い 岩地に 落ちた． 土が 深くなかったので， すぐに 芽を 出した．

- And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
- And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,
- Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
- And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
- And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

- しかし 日が 上ると， 燒けて， 根がないために 枯れてしまった．
- また， 別の 種がいばらの 中に 落ちた． ところが， いばらが 伸びて， それをふさいでしまったので， 實を 結ばなかった．
- また， 別の 種が 良い 地に 落ちた． すると 芽ばえ， 育って， 實を 結び， 三十倍， 六十倍， 百倍になった． 」
- そして イエス は 言われた． 「聞く 耳のある 者は 聞きなさい． 」
- さて， イエス だけになったとき， いつもつき 從っている 人たちが， 十二弟子とともに， これらのたとえのことを 尋ねた．

- But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
- And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
- And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
- And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
- And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

- そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「あなたがたには， 神の 國の 奧義が 知らされているが， ほかの 人たちには， すべてがたとえで 言われるのです．
- それは， 『彼らは 確かに 見るには 見るがわからず， 聞くには 聞くが 悟らず， 悔い 改めて 赦されることのないため． 』です． 」
- そして 彼らにこう 言われた． 「このたとえがわからないのですか． そんなことで， いったいどうしてたとえの 理解ができましょう．
- 種蒔く 人は， みことばを 蒔くのです．
- みことばが 道ばたに 蒔かれるとは， こういう 人たちのことです ··みことばを 聞くと， すぐ サタン が 來て， 彼らに 蒔かれたみことばを 持ち 去ってしまうのです．

- And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
- That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
- And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
- The sower soweth the word.
- And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

- 同じように， 岩地に 蒔かれるとは， こういう 人たちのことです ··みことばを 聞くと， すぐに 喜んで 受けるが，
- 根を 張らないで， ただしばらく 續くだけです． それで， みことばのために 困難や 迫害が 起こると， すぐにつまずいてしまいます．
- もう 一つの， いばらの 中に 種を 蒔かれるとは， こういう 人たちのことです． ··みことばを 聞いてはいるが，
- 世の 心づかいや， 富の 惑わし， その 他いろいろな 欲望がはいり ¿んで， みことばをふさぐので， 實を 結びません．
- 良い 地に 蒔かれるとは， みことばを 聞いて 受け 入れ， 三十倍， 六十倍， 百倍の 實を 結ぶ 人たちです． 」

- And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
- And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
- And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
- And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
- And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

- また 言われた． 「あかりを 持って 來るのは ¿の 下や 寢台の 下に 置くためでしょうか． 燭台の 上に 置くためではありませんか．
- 隱れているのは， 必ず 現われるためであり， おおい 隱されているのは， 明らかにされるためです．
- 聞く 耳のある 者は 聞きなさい． 」
- また 彼らに 言われた． 「聞いていることによく 注意しなさい． あなたがたは， 人に 量ってあげるその 量りで， 自分にも 量り 與えられ， さらにその 上に 增し 加えられます．
- 持っている 人は， さらに 與えられ， 持たない 人は， 持っているものまでも 取り 上げられてしまいます． 」

- And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
- For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
- If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
- And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
- For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

- また 言われた． 「神の 國は， 人が 地に 種を 蒔くようなもので，
- 夜は 寢て， 朝は 起き， そうこうしているうちに， 種は 芽を 出して 育ちます． どのようにしてか， 人は 知りません．
- 地は 人手によらず 實をならせるもので， 初めに 苗， 次に 穗， 次に 穗の 中に 實がはいります．
- 實が 熟すると， 人はすぐにかまを 入れます． 收穫の 時が 來たからです． 」
- また 言われた． 「神の 國は， どのようなものと 言えばよいでしょう． 何にたとえたらよいでしょう．

- And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
- And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
- For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
- But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
- And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

- それはからし 種のようなものです． 地に 蒔かれるときには， 地に 蒔かれる 種の 中で， 一番小さいのですが，
- それが 蒔かれると， 生長してどんな 野菜よりも 大きくなり， 大きな 枝を 張り， その 陰に 空の 鳥が 巢を 作れるほどになります． 」
- イエス は， このように 多くのたとえで， 彼らの 聞く 力に 應じて， みことばを 話された．
- たとえによらないで 話されることはなかった． ただ， ご 自分の 弟子たちにだけは， すべてのことを 解き 明かされた．

- It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
- But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
- And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
- But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
