- イエス はそこを 去って， 鄕里に 行かれた． 弟子たちもついて 行った．
- 安息日になったとき， 會堂で 敎え 始められた． それを 聞いた 多くの 人¿は 驚いて 言った． 「この 人は， こういうことをどこから 得たのでしょう． この 人に 與えられた 知惠や， この 人の 手で 行なわれるこのような 力あるわざは， いったい 何でしょう．
- この 人は 大工ではありませんか． マリヤ の 子で， ヤコブ ， ヨセ ， ユダ ， シモン の 兄弟ではありませんか． その 妹たちも， 私たちとここに 住んでいるではありませんか． 」こうして 彼らは イエス につまずいた．
- イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「預言者が 尊敬されないのは， 自分の 鄕里， 親族， 家族の 間だけです． 」
- それで， そこでは 何一つ 力あるわざを 行なうことができず， 少數の 病人に 手を 置いていやされただけであった．

- And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
- And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
- Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
- But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
- And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

- イエス は 彼らの 不信仰に 驚かれた． それから イエス は， 近くの 村¿を 敎えて 回られた．
- また， 十二弟子を 呼び， ふたりずつ 遣わし 始め， 彼らに 汚れた 靈を 追い 出す 權威をお 與えになった．
- また， 彼らにこう 命じられた． 「旅のためには， 杖一本のほかは， 何も 持って 行ってはいけません． パン も， 袋も， 胴卷きに 金も 持って 行ってはいけません．
- くつは， はきなさい． しかし 二枚の 下着を 着てはいけません． 」
- また， 彼らに 言われた． 「どこででも 一軒の 家にはいったら， そこの 土地から 出て 行くまでは， その 家にとどまっていなさい．

- And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
- And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
- And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
- But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
- And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.

- もし， あなたがたを 受け 入れない 場所， また， あなたがたに 聞こうとしない 人¿なら， そこから 出て 行くときに， そこの 人¿に 對する 證言として， 足の 裏のちりを 拂い 落としなさい． 」
- こうして 十二人が 出て 行き， 悔い 改めを 說き 廣め，
- 惡靈を 多く 追い 出し， 大ぜいの 病人に 油を 塗っていやした．

- And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
- And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
- And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
