- こうして 私のたましいは， 主にあって 喜び， 御救いの 中にあって 樂しむことでしょう．
- 私のすべての 骨は 言いましょう． 「主よ． だれか， あなたのような 方があるでしょうか． 惱む 者を， 彼よりも 强い 者から 救い 出す 方． そうです． 惱む 者， 貧しい 者を， 奪い 取る 者から． 」
- 暴虐な 證人どもが 立ち 私の 知らないことを 私に 問う．
- 彼らは 善にかえて 惡を 報い， 私のたましいは 見捨てられる．
- しかし， 私は ··， 彼らの 病のとき， 私の 着物は 荒布だった． 私は 斷食してたましいを 惱ませ， 私の 祈りは 私の 胸を 行き 來していた．

- And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
- All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
- False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
- They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
- But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

- 私の 友， 私の 兄弟にするように， 私は 步き 回り， 母の 喪に 服するように， 私はうなだれて 泣き 悲しんだ．
- だが， 彼らは 私がつまずくと 喜び， 相つどい， 私の 知らない 攻擊者どもが， 共に 私を 目ざして 集まり， 休みなく 私を 中傷した．
- 私の 回りの， あざけり， ののしる 者どもは 私に 向かって 齒ぎしりした．

- I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
- But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
- With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
