- 幸いなことよ． 弱っている 者に 心を 配る 人は． 主はわざわいの 日にその 人を 助け 出される．
- 主は 彼を 見守り， 彼を 生きながらえさせ， 地上でしあわせな 者とされる． どうか 彼を 敵の 意のままにさせないでください．
- 主は 病の 床で 彼をささえられる． 病むときにどうか 彼を 全くいやしてくださるように．
- 私は 言った． 「主よ， あわれんでください． 私のたましいをいやしてください． 私はあなたに 罪を 犯したからです． 」
- 私の 敵は， 私の 惡口を 言います． 「いつ， 彼は 死に， その 名は 滅びるのだろうか． 」

- Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
- The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
- The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
- I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
- Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

- たとい， 人が 見舞いに 來ても， その 人はうそを 言い， その 心のうちでは， 惡意をたくわえ， 外に 出ては， それを 言いふらす．
- 私を 憎む 者はみな， 私について 共にささやき， 私に 對して， 惡をたくらむ．
- 「邪惡なものが， 彼に 取りついている． 彼が 床に 着いたからには， もう 二度と 起き 上がれまい． 」
- 私が 信賴し， 私の パン を 食べた 親しい 友までが， 私にそむいて， かかとを 上げた．
- しかし， 主よ． あなたは 私をあわれんでください． 私を 立ち 上がらせてください． そうすれば 私は， 彼らに 仕返しができます．

- And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
- All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
- An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
- Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
- But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

- By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
- And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
- Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
