	마가복음 15:1-15:47 예수님은 빌라도에게 사형 판결을 받으시고 십자가에 못박혀 죽으셨다. 아리마대 요셉은 예수님의 시신을 세마포에 싸서 돌무덤에 장사 지냈다.

	예수님의 죽으심(15:1-15:47)

夜が明けるとすぐに，祭司長たちをはじめ，長老，律法學者たちと，全議會とは協議をこらしたすえ，イエスを縛って連れ出し，ピラトに引き渡した．

ピラトはイエスに尋ねた．「あなたは，ユダヤ人の王ですか．」イエスは答えて言われた．「そのとおりです．」

そこで，祭司長たちはイエスをきびしく訴えた．

ピラトはもう一度イエスに尋ねて言った．「何も答えないのですか．見なさい．彼らはあんなにまであなたを訴えているのです．」

それでも，イエスは何もお答えにならなかった．それにはピラトも驚いた．

And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto them, Thou sayest it.

And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.

And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.

But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.

ところでピラトは，その祭りには，人¿の願う囚人をひとりだけ赦免するのを例としていた．

たまたま，バラバという者がいて，暴動のとき人殺しをした暴徒たちといっしょに牢にはいっていた．

それで，群衆は進んで行って，いつものようにしてもらうことを，ピラトに要求し始めた．

そこでピラトは，彼らに答えて，「このユダヤ人の王を釋放してくれというのか．」と言った．

ピラトは，祭司長たちが，ねたみからイエスを引き渡したことに，氣づいていたからである．

Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.

And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.

But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.

しかし，祭司長たちは群衆を扇動して，むしろバラバを釋放してもらいたいと言わせた．

そこで，ピラトはもう一度答えて，「ではいったい，あなたがたがユダヤ人の王と呼んでいるあの人を，私にどうせよというのか．」と言った．

すると彼らはまたも「十字架につけろ．」と叫んだ．

だが，ピラトは彼らに，「あの人がどんな惡いことをしたというのか．」と言った．しかし，彼らはますます激しく「十字架につけろ．」と叫んだ．

それで，ピラトは群衆のきげんをとろうと思い，バラバを釋放した．そして，イエスをむち打って後，十字架につけるようにと引き渡した．

But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.

And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?

And they cried out again, Crucify him.

Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

兵士たちはイエスを，邸宅，すなわち總督官邸の中に連れて行き，全部隊を呼び集めた．

そしてイエスに紫の衣を着せ，いばらの冠を編んでかぶらせ，

それから，「ユダヤ人の王さま．ばんざい．」と叫んであいさつをし始めた．

また，葦の棒でイエスの頭をたたいたり，つばきをかけたり，ひざまずいて拜んだりしていた．

彼らはイエスを嘲弄したあげく，その紫の衣を脫がせて，もとの着物をイエスに着せた．それから，イエスを十字架につけるために連れ出した．

And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.

And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,

And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!

And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.

And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.

そこへ，アレキサンデルとルポスとの父で，シモンというクレネ人が，いなかから出て來て通りかかったので，彼らはイエスの十字架を，むりやりに彼に背負わせた．

そして，彼らはイエスをゴルゴタの場所（譯すと，「どくろ」の場所）へ連れて行った．

そして彼らは， ¿藥を混ぜたぶどう酒をイエスに與� ヲようとしたが，イエスはお飮みにならなかった．

それから，彼らは，イエスを十字架につけた．そして，だれが何を取るかをくじ引きで決めたうえで，イエスの着物を分けた．

彼らがイエスを十字架につけたのは，午前九時であった．

And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.

And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.

And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

イエスの罪狀書きには，「ユダヤ人の王．」と書いてあった．

また彼らは，イエスとともにふたりの强盜を，ひとりは右に，ひとりは左に，十字架につけた．

［本節欠如］

道を行く人¿は，頭を振りながらイエスをののしって言った．「おお，神殿を打ちこわして三日で建てる人よ．

十字架から降りて來て，自分を救ってみろ．」

And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.

And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.

And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

また，祭司長たちも同じように，律法學者たちといっしょになって，イエスをあざけって言った．「他人は救ったが，自分は救えない．

キリスト，イスラエルの王さま．たった今，十字架から降りてもらおうか．われわれは，それを見たら信じるから．」また，イエスといっしょに十字架につけられた者たちもイエスをののしった．

さて，十二時になったとき，全地が暗くなって，午後三時まで續いた．

そして，三時に，イエスは大聲で，「エロイ，エロイ，ラマ，サバクタニ．」と叫ばれた．それは譯すと「わが神，わが神．どうしてわたしをお見捨てになったのですか．」という意味である．

そばに立っていた幾人かが，これを聞いて，「そら，エリヤを呼んでいる．」と言った．

Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.

Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

すると，ひとりが走って行って，海綿に酸いぶどう酒を含ませ，それを葦の棒につけて，イエスに飮ませようとしながら言った．「エリヤがやって來て，彼を降ろすかどうか，私たちは見ることにしよう．」

それから，イエスは大聲をあげて息を引き取られた．

神殿の幕が上から下まで眞二つに裂けた．

イエスの正面に立っていた百人隊長は，イエスがこのように息を引き取られたのを見て，「この方はまことに神の子であった．」と言った．

また，遠くのほうから見ていた女たちもいた．その中にマグダラのマリヤと，小ヤコブとヨセの母マリヤと，またサロメもいた．

And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;

イエスがガリラヤにおられたとき，いつもつき從って仕えていた女たちである．このほかにも，イエスといっしょにエルサレムに上って來た女たちがたくさんいた．

すっかり夕方になった．その日は備えの日，すなわち安息日の前日であったので，

アリマタヤのヨセフは，思い切ってピラトのところに行き，イエスのからだの下げ渡しを願った．ヨセフは有力な議員であり，みずからも神の國を待ち望んでいた人であった．

ピラトは，イエスがもう死んだのかと驚いて，百人隊長を呼び出し，イエスがすでに死んでしまったかどうかを問いただした．

そして，百人隊長からそうと確かめてから，イエスのからだをヨセフに與えた．

(Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.

And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,

Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.

And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.

And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.

そこで，ヨセフは亞麻布を買い，イエスを取り降ろしてその亞麻布に包み，岩を掘って造った墓に納めた．墓の入口には石をころがしかけておいた．

マグダラのマリヤとヨセの母マリヤとは，イエスの納められる所をよく見ていた．

And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.

And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.
