- ちょうどそのとき， ある 人たちがやって 來て， イエス に 報告した． ピラト が ガリラヤ 人たちの 血を ガリラヤ 人たちのささげるいけにえに 混ぜたというのである．
- イエス は 彼らに 答えて 言われた． 「その ガリラヤ 人たちがそのような 災難を 受けたから， ほかのどの ガリラヤ 人よりも 罪深い 人たちだったとでも 思うのですか．
- そうではない． わたしはあなたがたに 言います． あなたがたも 悔い 改めないなら， みな 同じように 滅びます．
- また， シロアム の 塔が 倒れ 落ちて 死んだあの 十八人は， エルサレム に 住んでいるだれよりも 罪深い 人たちだったとでも 思うのですか．
- そうではない． わたしはあなたがたに 言います． あなたがたも 悔い 改めないなら， みな 同じように 滅びます． 」

- There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
- And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
- Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

- イエス はこのようなたとえを 話された． 「ある 人が， ぶどう 園にいちじくの 木を 植えておいた． 實を 取りに 來たが， 何も 見つからなかった．
- そこで， ぶどう 園の 番人に 言った． 『見なさい． 三年もの 間， やって 來ては， このいちじくの 實のなるのを 待っているのに， なっていたためしがない． これを 切り 倒してしまいなさい． 何のために 土地をふさいでいるのですか． 』
- 番人は 答えて 言った． 『ご 主人． どうか， ことし 一年そのままにしてやってください． 木の 回りを 掘って， 肥やしをやってみますから．
- もしそれで 來年， 實を 結べばよし， それでもだめなら， 切り 倒してください． 』」
- イエス は 安息日に， ある 會堂で 敎えておられた．

- He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
- Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
- And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
- And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
- And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

- すると， そこに 十八年も 病の 靈につかれ， 腰が 曲がって， 全然伸ばすことのできない 女がいた．
- イエス は， その 女を 見て， 呼び 寄せ， 「あなたの 病氣はいやされました． 」と 言って，
- 手を 置かれると， 女はたちどころに 腰が 伸びて， 神をあがめた．
- すると， それを 見た 會堂管理者は， イエス が 安息日にいやされたのを 憤って， 群衆に 言った． 「¿いてよい 日は 六日です． その 間に 來て 直してもらうがよい． 安息日には， いけないのです． 」
- しかし， 主は 彼に 答えて 言われた． 「僞善者たち． あなたがたは， 安息日に， 牛やろばを 小屋からほどき， 水を 飮ませに 連れて 行くではありませんか．

- And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
- And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
- And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
- And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
- The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

- この 女は アブラハム の 娘なのです． それを 十八年もの 間 サタン が 縛っていたのです． 安息日だからといってこの 束縛を 解いてやってはいけないのですか． 」
- こう 話されると， 反對していた 者たちはみな， 恥じ 入り， 群衆はみな， イエス のなさったすべての 輝かしいみわざを 喜んだ．
- そこで， イエス はこう 言われた． 「神の 國は， 何に 似ているでしょう． 何に 比べたらよいでしょう．
- それは， からし 種のようなものです． それを 取って 庭に 蒔いたところ， 生長して 木になり， 空の 鳥が 枝に 巢を 作りました． 」
- またこう 言われた． 「神の 國を 何に 比べましょう．

- And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
- And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
- Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
- It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
- And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

- パン 種のようなものです． 女が パン 種をとって， 三 サトン の 粉に 混ぜたところ， 全體がふくれました． 」
|
- It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
