- さて， 過越の 祭りといわれる， 種なし パン の 祝いが 近づいていた．
- 祭司長， 律法學者たちは， イエス を 殺すための 良い 方法を 搜していた． というのは， 彼らは 民衆を 恐れていたからである．
- さて， 十二弟子のひとりで， イスカリオテ と 呼ばれる ユダ に， サタン がはいった．
- ユダ は 出かけて 行って， 祭司長たちや 宮の 守衛長たちと， どのようにして イエス を 彼らに 引き 渡そうかと 相談した．
- 彼らは 喜んで， ユダ に 金をやる 約束をした．

- Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
- And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
- Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
- And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
- And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

- ユダ は 承知した． そして 群衆のいないときに イエス を 彼らに 引き 渡そうと 機會をねらっていた．
- さて， 過越の 小羊のほふられる， 種なし パン の 日が 來た．
- イエス は， こう 言って ペテロ と ヨハネ を 遣わされた． 「わたしたちの 過越の 食事ができるように， 準備をしに 行きなさい． 」
- 彼らは イエス に 言った． 「どこに 準備しましょうか． 」
- イエス は 言われた． 「町にはいると， 水がめを 運んでいる 男に 會うから， その 人がはいる 家までついて 行きなさい．

- And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
- Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
- And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
- And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
- And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

- そして， その 家の 主人に， 『弟子たちといっしょに 過越の 食事をする 客間はどこか， と 先生があなたに 言っておられる． 』と 言いなさい．
- すると 主人は， 席が 整っている 二階の 大廣間を 見せてくれます． そこで 準備をしなさい． 」
- 彼らが 出かけて 見ると， イエス の 言われたとおりであった． それで， 彼らは 過越の 食事の 用意をした．

- And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
- And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
- And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
