- 年老いた 時も， 私を 見放さないでください． 私の 力の 衰え 果てたとき， 私を 見捨てないでください．
- 私の 敵が 私のことを 話し 合い， 私のいのちをつけねらう 者どもが 共にたくらんでいるからです．
- 彼らはこう 言っています． 「神は 彼を 見捨てたのだ． 追いかけて， 彼を 捕えよ． 救い 出す 者はいないから． 」
- 神よ． 私から 遠く 離れないでください． わが 神よ． 急いで 私を 助けてください．
- 私をなじる 者どもが 恥を 見， 消えうせますように． 私を 痛めつけようとする 者どもが， そしりと 侮辱で， おおわれますように．

- Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
- For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
- Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
- O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
- Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
