- ユダヤ 人たちは， イエス が「わたしは 天から 下って 來た パン である． 」と 言われたので， イエス についてつぶやいた．
- 彼らは 言った． 「あれは ヨセフ の 子で， われわれはその 父も 母も 知っている， その イエス ではないか． どうしていま 彼は『わたしは 天から 下って 來た． 』と 言うのか． 」
- イエス は 彼らに 答えて 言われた． 「互いにつぶやくのはやめなさい．
- わたしを 遣わした 父が 引き 寄せられないかぎり， だれもわたしのところに 來ることはできません． わたしは 終わりの 日にその 人をよみがえらせます．
- 預言者の 書に， 『そして， 彼らはみな 神によって 敎えられる． 』と 書かれていますが， 父から 聞いて 學んだ 者はみな， わたしのところに 來ます．

- The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
- And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
- Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
- No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
- It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

- だれも 神を 見た 者はありません． ただ 神から 出た 者， すなわち， この 者だけが， 父を 見たのです．
- まことに， まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． 信じる 者は 永遠のいのちを 持ちます．
- わたしはいのちの パン です．
- あなたがたの 先祖は 荒野で マナ を 食べたが， 死にました．
- しかし， これは 天から 下って 來た パン で， それを 食べると 死ぬことがないのです．

- Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
- I am that bread of life.
- Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
- This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

- わたしは， 天から 下って 來た 生ける パン です． だれでもこの パン を 食べるなら， 永遠に 生きます． またわたしが 與えようとする パン は， 世のいのちのための， わたしの 肉です． 」
- すると， ユダヤ 人たちは， 「この 人は， どのようにしてその 肉を 私たちに 與えて 食べさせることができるのか． 」と 言って 互いに 議論し 合った．
- イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「まことに， まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． 人の 子の 肉を 食べ， またその 血を 飮まなければ， あなたがたのうちに， いのちはありません．
- わたしの 肉を 食べ， わたしの 血を 飮む 者は， 永遠のいのちを 持っています． わたしは 終わりの 日にその 人をよみがえらせます．
- わたしの 肉はまことの 食物， わたしの 血はまことの 飮み 物だからです．

- I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
- The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
- Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
- Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
- For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

- わたしの 肉を 食べ， わたしの 血を 飮む 者は， わたしのうちにとどまり， わたしも 彼のうちにとどまります．
- 生ける 父がわたしを 遣わし， わたしが 父によって 生きているように， わたしを 食べる 者も， わたしによって 生きるのです．
- これは， 天から 下ってきた パン です． あなたがたの 先祖が 食べて 死んだようなものではありません． この パン を 食べる 者は 永遠に 生きます． 」
- これは， イエス が カペナウム で 敎えられたとき， 會堂で 話されたことである．
- そこで， 弟子たちのうちの 多くの 者が， これを 聞いて 言った． 「これはひどいことばだ． そんなことをだれが 聞いておられようか． 」

- He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
- This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
- These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
- Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

- しかし， イエス は， 弟子たちがこうつぶやいているのを， 知っておられ， 彼らに 言われた． 「このことであなたがたはつまずくのか．
- それでは， もし 人の 子がもといた 所に 上るのを 見たら， どうなるのか．
- いのちを 與えるのは 御靈です． 肉は 何の 益ももたらしません． わたしがあなたがたに 話したことばは， 靈であり， またいのちです．
- しかし， あなたがたのうちには 信じない 者がいます． 」·· イエス は 初めから， 信じない 者がだれであるか， 裏切る 者がだれであるかを， 知っておられたのである． ··
- そして イエス は 言われた． 「それだから， わたしはあなたがたに， 『父のみこころによるのでないかぎり， だれもわたしのところに 來ることはできない． 』と 言ったのです． 」

- When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
- What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
- It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
- But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
- And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

- こういうわけで， 弟子たちのうちの 多くの 者が 離れ 去って 行き， もはや イエス とともに 步かなかった．
- そこで， イエス は 十二弟子に 言われた． 「まさか， あなたがたも 離れたいと 思うのではないでしょう． 」
- すると， シモン · ペテロ が 答えた． 「主よ． 私たちがだれのところに 行きましょう． あなたは， 永遠のいのちのことばを 持っておられます．
- 私たちは， あなたが 神の 聖者であることを 信じ， また 知っています． 」
- イエス は 彼らに 答えられた． 「わたしがあなたがた 十二人を 選んだのではありませんか． しかしそのうちのひとりは 惡魔です． 」

- From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
- Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
- Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
- And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
- Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

- イエス は イスカリオテ · シモン の 子 ユダ のことを 言われたのであった． この ユダ は 十二弟子のひとりであったが， イエス を 賣ろうとしていた．

- He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
