- イエス は 過越の 祭りの 六日前に ベタニヤ に 來られた． そこには， イエス が 死人の 中からよみがえらせた ラザロ がいた．
- 人¿は イエス のために， そこに 晩餐を 用意した． そして マルタ は 給仕していた． ラザロ は， イエス とともに 食卓に 着いている 人¿の 中に벙 ㅜ놋失窺 ㅳ淘
- マリヤ は， 非常に 高價な， 純粹な ナルド の 香油三百 グラム を 取って， イエス の 足に 塗り， 彼女の 髮の 毛で イエス の 足をぬぐった． 家は 香油のかおりでいっぱいになった．
- ところが， 弟子のひとりで， イエス を 裏切ろうとしている イスカリオテ · ユダ が 言った．
- 「なぜ， この 香油を 三百 デナリ に 賣って， 貧しい 人¿に 施さなかったのか． 」

- Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
- There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
- Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
- Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
- Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

- しかしこう 言ったのは， 彼が 貧しい 人¿のことを 心にかけていたからではなく， 彼は 盜人であって， 金入れを 預かっていたが， その 中に 收められたものを， いつも 盜んでいたからである．
- イエス は 言われた． 「そのままにしておきなさい． マリヤ はわたしの 葬りの 日のために， それを 取っておこうとしていたのです．
- あなたがたは， 貧しい 人¿とはいつもいっしょにいるが， わたしとはいつもいっしょにいるわけではないからです． 」
- 大ぜいの ユダヤ 人の 群れが， イエス がそこにおられることを 聞いて， やって 來た． それはただ イエス のためだけではなく， イエス によって 死人の 中からよみがえった ラザロ を 見るためでもあった．
- 祭司長たちは ラザロ も 殺そうと 相談した．

- This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
- Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
- For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
- Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
- But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

- それは， 彼のために 多くの ユダヤ 人が 去って 行き， イエス を 信じるようになったからである．
- その 翌日， 祭りに 來ていた 大ぜいの 人の 群れは， イエス が エルサレム に 來ようとしておられると 聞いて，
- しゅろの 木の 枝を 取って， 出迎えのために 出て 行った． そして 大聲で 叫んだ． 「ホサナ ． 祝福あれ． 主の 御名によって 來られる 方に． イスラエル の 王に． 」
- イエス は， ろばの 子を 見つけて， それに 乘られた． それは 次のように 書かれているとおりであった．
- 「恐れるな． シオン の 娘． 見よ． あなたの 王が 來られる． ろばの 子に 乘って． 」

- Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
- On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
- Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
- And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
- Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

- 初め， 弟子たちにはこれらのことがわからなかった． しかし， イエス が 榮光を 受けられてから， これらのことが イエス について 書かれたことであって， 人¿がそのとおりに イエス に 對して 行なったことを， 彼らは 思い 出した．
- イエス が ラザロ を 墓から 呼び 出し， 死人の 中からよみがえらせたときに イエス といっしょにいた 大ぜいの 人¿は， そのことのあかしをした．
- そのために 群衆も イエス を 出迎えた． イエス がこれらのしるしを 行なわれたことを 聞いたからである．
- そこで， パリサイ 人たちは 互いに 言った． 「どうしたのだ． 何一つうまくいっていない． 見なさい． 世はあげてあの 人のあとについて 行ってしまった． 」

- These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
- The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
- For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
- The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
