- やみと 死の 陰に 座す 者， 惱みと 鐵のかせとに 縛られている 者，
- 彼らは， 神のことばに 逆らい， いと 高き 方のさとしを 侮ったのである．
- それゆえ 主は 苦役をもって 彼らの 心を 低くされた． 彼らはよろけたが， だれも 助けなかった．
- この 苦しみのときに， 彼らが 主に 向かって 叫ぶと， 主は 彼らを 苦惱から 救われた．
- 主は 彼らをやみと 死の 陰から 連れ 出し， 彼らのかせを 打ち ¿かれた．

- Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
- Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
- Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
- Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
- He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

- 彼らは， 主の 惠みと， 人の 子らへの 奇しいわざを 主に 感謝せよ．
- まことに 主は 靑銅のとびらを 打ち ¿き， 鐵のかんぬきを 粉¿に ¿かれた．
- 愚か 者は， 自分のそむきの 道のため， また， その 咎のために 惱んだ．
- 彼らのたましいは， あらゆる 食物を 忌みきらい， 彼らは 死の 門にまで 着いていた．
- この 苦しみのときに， 彼らが 主に 向かって 叫ぶと， 主は 彼らを 苦惱から 救われた．

- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
- Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
- Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
- Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

- 主はみことばを 送って 彼らをいやし， その 滅びの 穴から 彼らを 助け 出された．
- 彼らは， 主の 惠みと， 人の 子らへの 奇しいわざを 主に 感謝せよ．
- 彼らは， 感謝のいけにえをささげ， 喜び 叫びながら 主のみわざを 語れ．

- He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
