- 船に 乘って 海に 出る 者， 大海であきないする 者，
- 彼らは 主のみわざを 見， 深い 海でその 奇しいわざを 見た．
- 主が 命じてあらしを 起こすと， 風が 波を 高くした．
- 彼らは 天に 上り， 深みに 下り， そのたましいはみじめにも， 溶け 去った．
- 彼らは 醉った 人のようによろめき， ふらついて 分別が 亂れた．

- They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
- These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
- For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
- They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
- They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.

- この 苦しみのときに， 彼らが 主に 向かって 叫ぶと， 主は 彼らを 苦惱から 連れ 出された．
- 主があらしを 靜めると， 波はないだ．
- 波がないだので 彼らは 喜んだ． そして 主は， 彼らをその 望む 港に 導かれた．
- 彼らは， 主の 惠みと， 人の 子らへの 奇しいわざを 主に 感謝せよ．
- また， 主を 民の 集會であがめ， 長老たちの 座で， 主を 贊美せよ．

- Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
- He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
- Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
- Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
