- 兄弟たち． 私が 心の 望みとし， また 彼らのために 神に 願い 求めているのは， 彼らの 救われることです．
- 私は， 彼らが 神に 對して 熱心であることをあかしします． しかし， その 熱心は 知識に 基づくものではありません．
- というのは， 彼らは 神の 義を 知らず， 自分自身の 義を 立てようとして， 神の 義に 從わなかったからです．
- キリスト が 律法を 終わらせられたので， 信じる 人はみな 義と 認められるのです．
- モ ― セ は， 律法による 義を 行なう 人は， その 義によって 生きる， と 書いています．

- Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
- For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
- For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
- For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
- For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

- しかし， 信仰による 義はこう 言います． 「あなたは 心の 中で， だれが 天に 上るだろうか， と 言ってはいけない． 」それは キリスト を 引き 降ろすことです．
- また， 「だれが 地の 奧底に 下るだろうか， と 言ってはいけない． 」それは キリスト を 死者の 中から 引き 上げることです．
- では， どう 言っていますか． 「みことばはあなたの 近くにある． あなたの 口にあり， あなたの 心にある． 」これは 私たちの 宣べ 傳えている 信仰のことばのことです．
- なぜなら， もしあなたの 口で イエス を 主と 告白し， あなたの 心で 神は イエス を 死者の 中からよみがえらせてくださったと 信じるなら， あなたは 救われるからです．
- 人は 心に 信じて 義と 認められ， 口で 告白して 救われるのです．

- But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
- Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
- But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
- For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

- 聖書はこう 言っています． 「彼に 信賴する 者は， 失望させられることがない． 」
- ユダヤ 人と ギリシヤ 人との 區別はありません． 同じ 主が， すべての 人の 主であり， 主を 呼び 求めるすべての 人に 對して 惠み 深くあられるからです．
- 「主の 御名を 呼び 求める 者は， だれでも 救われる． 」のです．
- しかし， 信じたことのない 方を， どうして 呼び 求めることができるでしょう． 聞いたことのない 方を， どうして 信じることができるでしょう． 宣べ 傳える 人がなくて， どうして 聞くことができるでしょう．
- 遣わされなくては， どうして 宣べ 傳えることができるでしょう． 次のように 書かれているとおりです． 「良いことの 知らせを 傳える 人¿の 足は， なんとりっぱでしょう． 」

- For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
- And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
