- 主は， 私に 耳を 傾けられるので， 私は 生きるかぎり 主を 呼び 求めよう．
- 死の 綱が 私を 取り 卷き， よみの 恐怖が 私を 襲い， 私は 苦しみと 悲しみの 中にあった．
- そのとき， 私は 主の 御名を 呼び 求めた． 「主よ． どうか 私のいのちを 助け 出してください． 」
- 主は 情け 深く， 正しい． まことに， 私たちの 神はあわれみ 深い．

- I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
- Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
- The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
- Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
- Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

- 「私は 大いに 惱んだ． 」と 言ったときも， 私は 信じた．
