로마서 14:1-14:23

 바울은 강한 믿음을 가진 자의 자유한 행동이 연약한 자들을 실족케 할 수 있으므로 성도들은 먼저 자유를 누리기에 앞서 연약한 자들을 사랑으로 돌아보아야 함을 강조하였다. 또한 연약한 자들도 편협한 안목으로 자유를 비방하지 말고, 서로 덕을 세우는 차원에서 해결할 것을 권면하였다.
  
  비판 금지(14:1-14:12)    
 
  1. あなたがたは 信仰の 弱い 人を 受け 入れなさい． その 意見をさばいてはいけません．
  2. 何でも 食べてよいと 信じている 人もいますが， 弱い 人は 野菜よりほかには 食べません．
  3. 食べる 人は 食べない 人を 侮ってはいけないし， 食べない 人も 食べる 人をさばいてはいけません． 神がその 人を 受け 入れてくださったからです．
  4. あなたはいったいだれなので， 他人のしもべをさばくのですか． しもべが 立つのも 倒れるのも， その 主人の 心次第です． このしもべは 立つのです． なぜなら， 主には， 彼を 立たせることができるからです．
  5. ある 日を， 他の 日に 比べて， 大事だと 考える 人もいますが， どの 日も 同じだと 考える 人もいます． それぞれ 自分の 心の 中で 確信を 持ちなさい．
  1. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
  2. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
  3. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
  4. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
  5. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
  1. 日を 守る 人は， 主のために 守っています． 食べる 人は， 主のために 食べています． なぜなら， 神に 感謝しているからです． 食べない 人も， 主のために 食べないのであって， 神に 感謝しているのです．
  2. 私たちの 中でだれひとりとして， 自分のために 生きている 者はなく， また 自分のために 死ぬ 者もありません．
  3. もし 生きるなら， 主のために 生き， もし 死ぬなら， 主のために 死ぬのです． ですから， 生きるにしても， 死ぬにしても， 私たちは 主のものです．
  4. キリスト は， 死んだ 人にとっても， 生きている 人にとっても， その 主となるために， 死んで， また 生きられたのです．
  5. それなのに， なぜ， あなたは 自分の 兄弟をさばくのですか． また， 自分の 兄弟を 侮るのですか． 私たちはみな， 神のさばきの 座に 立つようになるのです．
  1. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
  2. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
  3. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
  4. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
  5. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
  1. 次のように 書かれているからです． 「主は 言われる． わたしは 生きている． すべてのひざは， わたしの 前にひざまずき， すべての 舌は， 神をほめたたえる． 」
  2. こういうわけですから， 私たちは， おのおの 自分のことを 神の 御前に 申し 開きすることになります．
  1. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
  2. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
 
  덕을 세움(14:13-14:23)    
 
  1. ですから， 私たちは， もはや 互いにさばき 合うことのないようにしましょう． いや， それ 以上に， 兄弟にとって 妨げになるもの， つまずきになるものを 置かないように 決心しなさい．
  2. 主 イエス にあって， 私が 知り， また 確信していることは， それ 自體で 汚れているものは 何一つないということです． ただ， これは 汚れていると 認める 人にとっては， それは 汚れたものなのです．
  3. もし， 食べ 物のことで， あなたの 兄弟が 心を 痛めているのなら， あなたはもはや 愛によって 行動しているのではありません． キリスト が 代わりに 死んでくださったほどの 人を， あなたの 食べ 物のことで， 滅ぼさないでください．
  4. ですから， あなたがたが 良いとしている 事がらによって， そしられないようにしなさい．
  5. なぜなら， 神の 國は 飮み 食いのことではなく， 義と 平和と 聖靈による 喜びだからです．
  1. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
  2. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
  3. But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
  4. Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
  5. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  1. このように キリスト に 仕える 人は， 神に 喜ばれ， また 人¿にも 認められるのです．
  2. そういうわけですから， 私たちは， 平和に 役立つことと， お 互いの 靈的成長に 役立つこととを 追い 求めましょう．
  3. 食べ 物のことで 神のみわざを 破壞してはいけません． すべての 物はきよいのです． しかし， それを 食べて 人につまずきを 與えるような 人のばあいは， 惡いのです．
  4. 肉を 食べず， ぶどう 酒を 飮まず， そのほか 兄弟のつまずきになることをしないのは 良いことなのです．
  5. あなたの 持っている 信仰は， 神の 御前でそれを 自分の 信仰として 保ちなさい． 自分が， 良いと 認めていることによって， さばかれない 人は 幸福です．
  1. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
  2. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
  3. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
  4. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
  5. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
  1. しかし， 疑いを 感じる 人が 食べるなら， 罪に 定められます． なぜなら， それが 信仰から 出ていないからです． 信仰から 出ていないことは， みな 罪です．
  1. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
