- 私たち 力のある 者は， 力のない 人たちの 弱さをになうべきです． 自分を 喜ばせるべきではありません．
- 私たちはひとりひとり， 隣人を 喜ばせ， その 德を 高め， その 人の 益となるようにすべきです．
- キリスト でさえ， ご 自身を 喜ばせることはなさらなかったのです． むしろ， 「あなたをそしる 人¿のそしりは， わたしの 上にふりかかった． 」と 書いてあるとおりです．
- 昔書かれたものは， すべて 私たちを 敎えるために 書かれたのです． それは， 聖書の 與える 忍耐と 勵ましによって， 希望を 持たせるためなのです．
- どうか， 忍耐と 勵ましの 神が， あなたがたを， キリスト · イエス にふさわしく， 互いに 同じ 思いを 持つようにしてくださいますように．

- We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
- Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
- For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
- Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

- それは， あなたがたが， 心を 一つにし， 聲を 合わせて， 私たちの 主 イエス · キリスト の 父なる 神をほめたたえるためです．
- こういうわけですから， キリスト が 神の 榮光のために， 私たちを 受け 入れてくださったように， あなたがたも 互いに 受け 入れなさい．
- 私は 言います． キリスト は， 神の 眞理を 現わすために， 割禮のある 者のしもべとなられました． それは 先祖たちに 與えられた 約束を 保證するためであり，
- また 異邦人も， あわれみのゆえに， 神をあがめるようになるためです． こう 書かれているとおりです． 「それゆえ， 私は 異邦人の 中で， あなたをほめたたえ， あなたの 御名をほめ 歌おう． 」
- また， こうも 言われています． 「異邦人よ． 主の 民とともに 喜べ． 」

- That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
- And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
- And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

- さらにまた， 「すべての 異邦人よ． 主をほめよ． もろもろの 國民よ． 主をたたえよ． 」
- さらにまた， イザヤ がこう 言っています． 「エッサイ の 根が 起こる． 異邦人を 治めるために 立ち 上がる 方である． 異邦人はこの 方に 望みをかける． 」
- どうか， 望みの 神が， あなたがたを 信仰によるすべての 喜びと 平和をもって 滿たし， 聖靈の 力によって 望みにあふれさせてくださいますように．
- 私の 兄弟たちよ． あなたがた 自身が 善意にあふれ， すべての 知惠に 滿たされ， また 互いに 訓戒し 合うことができることを， この 私は 確信しています．
- ただ 私が 所¿， かなり 大膽に 書いたのは， あなたがたにもう 一度思い 起こしてもらうためでした．

- And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
- And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
- Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
- And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
- Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

- それも 私が， 異邦人のために キリスト · イエス の 仕え 人となるために， 神から 惠みをいただいているからです． 私は 神の 福音をもって， 祭司の 務めを 果たしています． それは 異邦人を， 聖靈によって 聖なるものとされた， 神に 受け 入れられる 供え 物とするためです．
- それで， 神に 仕えることに 關して， 私は キリスト · イエス にあって 誇りを 持っているのです．
- 私は， キリスト が 異邦人を 從順にならせるため， この 私を 用いて 成し 遂げてくださったこと 以外に， 何かを 話そうなどとはしません． キリスト は， ことばと 行ないにより，
- また， しるしと 不思議をなす 力により， さらにまた， 御靈の 力によって， それを 成し 遂げてくださいました． その 結果， 私は エルサレム から 始めて， ずっと 回って イルリコ に 至るまで， キリスト の 福音をくまなく 傳えました．
- このように， 私は， 他人の 土台の 上に 建てないように， キリスト の 御名がまだ 語られていない 所に 福音を 宣べ 傳えることを 切に 求めたのです．

- That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
- I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
- For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
- Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
- Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

- それは， こう 書いてあるとおりです． 「彼のことを 傳えられなかった 人¿が 見るようになり， 聞いたことのなかった 人¿が 悟るようになる． 」

- But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.
