- 兄弟たち． 私は 今， あなたがたに 福音を 知らせましょう． これは， 私があなたがたに 宣べ 傳えたもので， あなたがたが 受け 入れ， また， それによって 立っている 福音です．
- また， もしあなたがたがよく 考えもしないで 信じたのでないなら， 私の 宣べ 傳えたこの 福音のことばをしっかりと 保っていれば， この 福音によって 救われるのです．
- 私があなたがたに 最も 大切なこととして 傳えたのは， 私も 受けたことであって， 次のことです． キリスト は， 聖書の 示すとおりに， 私たちの 罪のために 死なれたこと，
- また， 葬られたこと， また， 聖書に 從って 三日目によみがえられたこと，
- また， ケパ に 現われ， それから 十二弟子に 現われたことです．

- Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
- By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
- And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
- And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

- その 後， キリスト は 五百人以上の 兄弟たちに 同時に 現われました． その 中の 大多數の 者は 今なお 生き 殘っていますが， すでに 眠った 者もいくらかいます．
- その 後， キリスト は ヤコブ に 現われ， それから 使徒たち 全部に 現われました．
- そして， 最後に， 月足らずで 生まれた 者と 同樣な 私にも， 現われてくださいました．
- 私は 使徒の 中では 最も 小さい 者であって， 使徒と 呼ばれる 價値のない 者です． なぜなら， 私は 神の 敎會を 迫害したからです．
- ところが， 神の 惠みによって， 私は 今の 私になりました． そして， 私に 對するこの 神の 惠みは， むだにはならず， 私はほかのすべての 使徒たちよりも 多く ¿きました． しかし， それは 私ではなく， 私にある 神の 惠みです．

- After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
- After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
- And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
- For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
- But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

- そういうわけですから， 私にせよ， ほかの 人たちにせよ， 私たちはこのように 宣べ 傳えているのであり， あなたがたはこのように 信じたのです．
- ところで， キリスト は 死者の 中から 復活された， と 宣べ 傳えられているのなら， どうして， あなたがたの 中に， 死者の 復活はない， と 言っている 人がいるのですか．
- もし， 死者の 復活がないのなら， キリスト も 復活されなかったでしょう．
- そして， キリスト が 復活されなかったのなら， 私たちの 宣敎は 實質のないものになり， あなたがたの 信仰も 實質のないものになるのです．
- それどころか， 私たちは 神について 僞證をした 者ということになります． なぜなら， もしもかりに， 死者の 復活はないとしたら， 神は キリスト をよみがえらせなかったはずですが， 私たちは 神が キリスト をよみがえらせた， と 言って 神に 逆らう 證言をしたからです．

- Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
- Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
- But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
- And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
- Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

- もし， 死者がよみがえらないのなら， キリスト もよみがえらなかったでしょう．
- そして， もし キリスト がよみがえらなかったのなら， あなたがたの 信仰はむなしく， あなたがたは 今もなお， 自分の 罪の 中にいるのです．
- そうだったら， キリスト にあって 眠った 者たちは， 滅んでしまったのです．
- もし， 私たちがこの 世にあって キリスト に 單なる 希望を 置いているだけなら， 私たちは， すべての 人の 中で 一番哀れな 者です．
- しかし， 今や キリスト は， 眠った 者の 初穗として 死者の 中からよみがえられました．

- For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
- And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
- Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
- If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
- But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

- というのは， 死がひとりの 人を 通して 來たように， 死者の 復活もひとりの 人を 通して 來たからです．
- すなわち， アダム にあってすべての 人が 死んでいるように， キリスト によってすべての 人が 生かされるからです．
- しかし， おのおのにその 順番があります． まず 初穗である キリスト ， 次に キリスト の 再臨のとき キリスト に 屬している 者です．
- それから 終わりが 來ます． そのとき， キリスト はあらゆる 支配と， あらゆる 權威， 權力を 滅ぼし， 國を 父なる 神にお 渡しになります．
- キリスト の 支配は， すべての 敵をその 足の 下に 置くまで， と 定められているからです．

- For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
- For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
- But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
- Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
- For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

- 最後の 敵である 死も 滅ぼされます．
- 「彼は 万物をその 足の 下に 從わせた． 」からです． ところで， 万物が 從わせられた， と 言うとき， 万物を 從わせたその 方がそれに 含められていないことは 明らかです．
- しかし， 万物が 御子に 從うとき， 御子自身も， ご 自分に 万物を 從わせた 方に 從われます． これは， 神が， すべてにおいてすべてとなられるためです．

- The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
- For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
- And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
