	365 일독성경 8월 28일 (1)

	욥기 13:1-15:35 욥은 친구들이 말하는 고난에 대한 이해를 자신도 잘 알고 있다고 하면서, 그렇지만 그것이 자기의 경우와는 다르다고 하였다. 그리고 하나님과 직접 변론하여 자신의 결백을 밝히기 원한다고 말하였다. 그러자 엘리바스는 이러한 욥의 말을 정죄하면서, 악인의 고통스런 운명을 제시하며 하나님께 용서 구할 것을 촉구하였다.

	욥의 기도(13:1-14:22)

見よ．私の目はこれをことごとく見た．私の耳はこれを聞いて悟った．

あなたがたの知っていることは私も知っている．私はあなたがたに劣っていない．

だが，私は全能者に語りかけ，神と論じ合ってみたい．

しかし，あなたがたは僞りをでっちあげる者，あなたがたはみな，能なしの醫者だ．

ああ，あなたがたが全く默っていたら，それがあなたがたの知惠であったろうに．

Lo, mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it.

What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.

Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.

But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.

O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.

さあ，私の論ずるところを聞き，私のくちびるの訴えに耳を貸せ．

あなたがたは神の代わりに，なんと，不正を言うのか．神の代わりに，欺きを語るのか．

神の顔を，あなたがたは立てるつもりなのか．神の代わりに言い爭うのか．

神があなたがたを調べても，大丈夫か．あなたがたは，人が人を欺くように，神を欺こうとするのか．

Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.

Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?

Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?

Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?

He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.

神の威嚴はあなたがたを震え上がらせないだろうか．その恐れがあなたがたを襲わないだろうか．

あなたがたの格言は灰のことわざだ．あなたがたの盾は粘土の盾だ．

默れ．私にかかわり合うな．この私が話そう．何が私にふりかかってもかまわない．

それゆえ，私は自分の肉を自分の齒にのせ，私のいのちを私の手に置こう．

見よ．神が私を殺しても，私は神を待ち望み，なおも，私の道を神の前に主張しよう．

Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?

Your remembrances are like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.

Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.

Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

神もまた，私の救いとなってくださる．神を敬わない者は，神の前に出ることができないからだ．

あなたがたは私の言い分をよく聞け．私の述べることをあなたがたの耳に入れよ．

今，私は訴えを ¿べたてる．私が義とされることを私は知っている．

私と論爭する者はいったいだれだ．もしあれば，そのとき，私は默って息絶えよう．

ただ二つの事を私にしないでください．そうすれば，私は御顔を避けて隱れません．

He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.

Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.

Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.

Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.

あなたの手を私の上から遠ざけてください．あなたの恐ろしさで私をおびえさせないでください．

呼んでください．私は答えます．あるいは，私に言わせ，あなたが私に答えてください．

私の不義と罪とはどれほどでしょうか．私のそむきの罪と咎とを私に知らせてください．

Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.

Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.

How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.

Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?

Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?

實にあなたは私に對してひどい宣告を書きたて，私の若い時の咎を私に受け繼がせようとされます．

あなたは私の足にかせをはめ，私の步く小道をことごとく見張り，私の足跡にしるしをつけられます．

そのような者は，腐った物のように朽ち，しみが食い盡くす着物のようになります．

For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.

Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.

And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.

女から生まれた人間は，日が短く，心がかき亂されることでいっぱいです．

花のように ¿き出ては切り取られ，影のように飛び去ってとどまりません．

あなたはこのような者にさえ，あなたの目を開き，私をご自身とともに，さばきの座に連れて行かれるのですか．

だれが，きよい物を汚れた物から出せましょう．だれひとり，できません．

もし，彼の日數が限られ，その月の數もあなたが決めておられ，越えることのできない限界を，あなたが定めておられるなら，

Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.

He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

And doth thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;

彼から目をそらして，かまわないでください．そうすれば，彼は日雇人のように自分の日を樂しむでしょう．

木には望みがある．たとい切られても，また芽を出し，その若枝は絶えることがない．

たとい，その根が地中で老い，その根株が土の中で枯れても，

水分に出會うと芽をふき，苗木のように枝を出す．

Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day.

For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

水は海から消え去り，川は干上がり，かれる．

人は伏して起き上がらず，天がなくなるまで目ざめず，また，その眠りから起きない．

ああ，あなたが私をよみに隱し，あなたの怒りが過ぎ去るまで私を潛ませ，私のために時を定め，私を覺えてくださればよいのに．

人が死ぬと，生き返るでしょうか．私の苦役の日の限り，私の代わりの者が來るまで待ちましょう．

As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:

So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!

If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.

今，あなたは私の步みを數えておられますが，私の罪に目を留めず，

私のそむきの罪を袋の中に封じ ¿め，私の咎をおおってください．

しかし，山は倒れてくずれ去り，岩もその所から移される．

For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?

My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.

And surely the mountains falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of his place.

The waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man.

Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth: thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away.

自分の子らが尊ばれても，彼にはそれがわからず，彼らが卑しめられても，彼には見分けがつきません．

ただ，彼は自分の肉の痛みを覺え，そのたましいは自分のために嘆くだけです．

His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.

But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.

	엘리바스의 두번째 충고(15:1-15:35)

テマン人エリファズが答えて言った．

知惠のある者はむなしい知識をもって答えるだろうか．東風によってその腹を滿たすだろうか．

彼は無益なことばを使って論じ，役に立たない論法で論じるだろうか．

ところが，あなたは信仰を捨て，神に祈ることをやめている．

それは，あなたの罪があなたの口に敎え，あなたが惡賢い人の舌を選び取るからだ．

Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,

Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?

Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?

Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.

For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.

あなたの口があなたを罪に定める．私ではない．あなたのくちびるがあなたに不利な證言をする．

あなたは最初に生まれた人か．あなたは丘より先に生み出されたのか．

あなたは神の會議にあずかり，あなたは知惠をひとり占めにしているのか．

あなたが知っていることを，私たちは知らないのだろうか．あなたが悟るものは，私たちのうちに，ないのだろうか．

私たちの中には白髮の者も，老いた者もいる．あなたの父よりもはるかに年上なのだ．

Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee.

Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills?

Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself?

What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us?

With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.

神の慰めと，あなたに優しく話しかけられたことばとは，あなたにとっては取るに足りないものだろうか．

なぜ，あなたは理性を失ったのか．なぜ，あなたの目はぎらつくのか．

あなたが神に向かっていらだち，口からあのようなことばを吐くとは．

人がどうして，きよくありえようか．女から生まれた者が，どうして，正しくありえようか．

見よ．神はご自身の聖なる者たちをも信賴しない．天も神の目にはきよくない．

Are the consolations of God small with thee? is there any secret thing with thee?

Why doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at,

That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?

What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.

まして忌みきらうべき汚れた者，不正を水のように飮む人間は，なおさらだ．

私はあなたに告げよう．私に聞け．私の見たところを述べよう．

それは知惠のある者たちが告げたもの，彼らの先祖が隱さなかったものだ．

彼らにだけ，この地は與えられ，他國人はその中を通り過ぎなかった．

惡者はその一生の間，もだえ苦しむ．橫暴な者にも，ある年數がたくわえられている．

How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?

I will shew thee, hear me; and that which I have seen I will declare;

Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it:

Unto whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them.

The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.

その耳には恐ろしい音が聞こえ，平和なときにも荒らす者が彼を襲う．

彼はやみから歸って來ることを信ぜず，彼は劍につけねらわれている．

彼は食物を求めて，「どこだ．」と言いながら，さまよい，やみの日がすぐそこに用意されているのを知っている．

苦難と苦惱とが彼をおびえさせ，戰いの備えをした王のように彼に打ち勝つ．

それは彼が神に手向かい，全能者に對して高慢にふるまい，

A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.

He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword.

He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.

Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.

For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himself against the Almighty.

厚い盾の取っ手を取っておこがましくも神に向かって馳せかかるからだ．

また，彼は顔をあぶらでおおい，腰の回りは脂肪でふくれさせ，

荒らされた町，人の住まない家に，石くれの山となる所に，住んだからだ．

彼は富むこともなく，その財産も長くもたず，その影を地上に投げかけない．

彼はやみからのがれることができず，炎がその若枝を枯らし，神の御口の息によって彼は追い拂われる．

He runneth upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:

Because he covereth his face with his fatness, and maketh collops of fat on his flanks.

And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps.

He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth.

He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.

迷わされて，むなしいことに信賴するな．その報いはむなしい．

彼の時が來ないうちに，それは成し遂げられ，その葉は茂らない．

彼は，ぶどうの木のように，その未熟の實は振り落とされ，オリ ― ブの木のように，その花は落とされる．

Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.

It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.

He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.

For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.
