	365 일독성경 8월 30일 (1)

	욥기 20:1-22:30 소발은 잔인하기 짝이 없는 비유까지 서슴지 않고 하면서 욥에게 회개를 강조하였다. 이에 대하여 욥은 가만히 있을 수 없어서 악인의 형통함에 관하여 역설하였다. 엘리바스는 욥의 죄악이 크다고 책망하였다. 그러나 훗날에 그는 위로자의 자세로 돌아가 회개하여 불의를 버리면 하나님께서 다시 욥의 기도를 들어주실 것이라고 권면하였다.

	소발의 두번째 충고(20:1-20:29)

そこでナアマ人ツォファルは答えて言った．

それで，いらだつ思いが私に答えを促し，そのため，私は心あせる．

私の侮辱となる訓戒を聞いて，私の悟りの靈が私に答えさせる．

あなたはこのことを知っているはずだ．昔から，地の上に人が置かれてから，

惡者の喜びは短く，神を敬わない者の樂しみはつかのまだ．

Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.

I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.

Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,

That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

たとい彼の高ぶりが天まで上り，その頭が雲まで及んでも，

彼は自分の糞のようにとこしえに滅びる．彼を見たことのある者たちは言う．彼はどこにいるのかと．

彼は夢のように飛び去り，だれにも彼は見つけられない．彼は夜の幻のように追い拂われ，

Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;

Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?

He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.

彼の骨が若さに滿ちても，それも彼とともにちりに橫たわる．

たとい惡が彼の口に甘く，彼がそれを舌の裏に隱しても，

あるいは，彼がこれを惜しんで，捨てず，その口の中にとどめていても，

His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.

Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;

Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:

Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.

He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.

彼はコブラの毒を吸い，まむしの舌が彼を殺す．

彼は川を見ることがない．すなわち，蜜と凝乳の流れる川を見ることがない．

彼は骨折って得たものを取り戾しても，それをのみこめない．商いで得た富によっても樂しめない．

彼が寄るべのない者を踏みにじって見捨て，自分で建てなかった家をかすめたからだ．

彼の腹は足ることを知らないので，欲しがっている物は何一つ，彼はのがさない．

He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.

He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.

That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.

Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;

Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.

彼のむさぼりからのがれる物は一つもない．だから，彼の繁榮は續かない．

滿ち足りているときに，彼は貧乏になって苦しみ，苦しむ者の手がことごとく彼に押し寄せる．

彼が腹を滿たそうとすると，神はその燃える怒りを彼の上に送り，憤りを彼の上に降らす．

彼は鐵の武器を免れても，靑銅の弓が彼を射通す．

There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.

In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.

When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.

He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.

It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.

すべてのやみが彼の寶として隱され，人が吹きおこしたのではない火が彼を燒き盡くし，彼の天幕に生き殘っているものをもそこなってしまう．

天は彼の罪をあらわし，地は彼に逆らって立つ．

彼の家の作物はさらわれ，御怒りの日に消えうせる．

これが惡者の，神からの分け前，神によって定められた彼の相續財産である．

All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.

The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.

The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.

This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.

	욥의 변증(21:1-21:34)

ヨブは答えて言った．

あなたがたは，私の言い分をよく聞け．これをあなたがたの私への慰めとしてくれ．

まず，私が語るのを許してくれ．私が語って後，あなたはあざけってもよい．

私の不平は人に向かってであろうか．なぜ，私がいらだってはならないのか．

私のほうを見て驚け．そして手を口に當てよ．

But Job answered and said,

Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations.

Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on.

As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled?

Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.

私は思い出すとおびえ，おののきが私の肉につかみかかる．

なぜ惡者どもが生きながらえ，年をとっても，なお力を增すのか．

彼らのすえは彼らとともに堅く立ち，その子孫は彼らの前に堅く立つ．

彼らの家は平和で恐れがなく，神の杖は彼らの上に下されない．

その牛は，はらませて，失敗することがなく，その雌牛は，子を産んで，仕損じがない．

Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.

Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?

Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.

Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.

Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.

彼らは自分の幼子たちを羊の群れのように自由にさせ，彼らの子どもたちはとびはねる．

彼らはタンバリンと立琴に合わせて歌い，笛の音で樂しむ．

彼らはしあわせのうちに壽命を全うし，すぐによみに下る．

They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.

They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ.

They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.

Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.

What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

見よ．彼らの繁榮はその手の中にない．惡者のはかりごとは，私と何の關係もない．

幾たび，惡者のともしびが消え，わざわいが彼らの上に下り，神が怒って彼らに滅びを分け與えることか．

彼らは，風の前のわらのようではないか．つむじ風に吹き去られるもみがらのようではないか．

神はそのような者の子らのために，彼のわざわいをたくわえておられるのか．彼自身が報いを受けて思い知らなければならない．

彼の目が自分の滅びを見，彼が全能者の憤りをのまなければならない．

Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it.

His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

彼の日の數が短く定められているのに，自分の後の家のことに何の望みがあろうか．

彼は神に知識を敎えようとするのか．高い所におられる方がさばきを下すのだ．

ある者は元氣盛りの時に，全く平穩のうちに死ぬだろう．

For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high.

One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet.

His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow.

And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure.

彼らは共にちりに伏し，うじが彼らをおおう．

ああ，私はあなたがたの計畵を知っている．私をそこなおうとするたくらみを．

They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.

Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me.

For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked?

Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens,

That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

だれが彼に面と向かって彼の道を告げえようか．だれが彼のなしたことを彼に報いえようか．

彼は墓に運ばれ，その塚の上には見張りが立つ．

谷の土くれは彼に快く，すべての人が彼のあとについて行く．彼より先に行った者も數えきれない．

どうしてあなたがたは，私を慰めようとするのか．むだなことだ．あなたがたの答えることは，ただ不信實だ．

Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done?

Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb.

The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him.

How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood?

	엘리바스의 세번째 충고(22:1-22:30)

テマン人エリファズが答えて言った．

人は神の役に立つことができようか．賢い人さえ，ただ自分自身の役に立つだけだ．

あなたが正しくても，それが全能者に何の喜びであろうか．あなたの道が潔白であっても，それが何の益になろう．

あなたとともに，さばきの座に，はいって行かれ，あなたを責められるのは，あなたが神を恐れているためか．

いや，それはあなたの惡が大きくて，あなたの不義が果てしないからではないか．

Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?

Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect?

Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?

Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?

あなたは理由もないのにあなたの兄弟から質を取り，裸の者から着物をはぎ取り，

疲れている者に水も飮ませず，飢えている者に食物を拒んだからだ．

土地を持っている有力者のように，そこに住む有名人のように，

あなたはやもめを素手で去らせ，みなしごの腕を折った．

それでわながあなたを取り卷き，恐れが，にわかにあなたを脅かす．

For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.

Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.

But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it.

Thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.

Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee;

あるいは，やみがあって，あなたは見ることもできず，みなぎる水があなたをおおう．

神は天の高きにおられるではないか．見よ，星の頂を．それは何と高いことか．

あなたは言う．「神に何がわかろうか．黑雲を通してさばくことができようか．

濃い雲が神をおおっているので，神は見ることができない．神は天の回りを步き回るだけだ．」と．

あなたは惡人が步いたあの昔からの道を守っていこうとするのか．

Or darkness, that thou canst not see; and abundance of waters cover thee.

Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?

Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.

Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?

彼らは時がまだ來ないうちに取り去られ，彼らの土台は流れに押し流された．

彼らは神に向かって言った．「私たちから離れよ．全能者が私たちに何ができようか．」と．

Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:

Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them?

Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

The righteous see it, and are glad: and the innocent laugh them to scorn.

Whereas our substance is not cut down, but the remnant of them the fire consumeth.

さあ，あなたは神と和らぎ，平和を得よ．そうすればあなたに幸いが來よう．

神の御口からおしえを受け，そのみことばを心にとどめよ．

あなたがもし全能者に立ち返るなら，あなたは再び立ち直る．あなたは自分の天幕から不正を遠ざけ，

寶をちりの上に置き，オフィルの金を川の小石の間に置け．

そうすれば全能者はあなたの黃金となり，尊い銀があなたのものとなる．

Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.

Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.

Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.

Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

そのとき，あなたは全能者をあなたの喜びとし，神に向かってあなたの顔を上げる．

あなたが神に祈れば，神はあなたに聞き，あなたは自分の誓願を果たせよう．

あなたが事を決めると，それは成り，あなたの道の上には光が輝く．

あなたが低くされると，あなたは高められたと言おう．神はへりくだる者を救われるからだ．

神は罪ある者さえ救う．その人はあなたの手のきよいことによって救われる．

For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.

Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.
