욥기 23:1-26:14

 욥은 엘리바스의 답변에 탄식하면서, 하나님께서 결백한 자신의 호소에 답변해 주실 것을 간구하였다. 그리고 악인들의 최후에 관하여 말한 후, 그들을 놓아 두시는 하나님의 섭리에 의문을 표시하였다. 이에 대하여 빌닷은 하나님의 권능과 위엄을 말하면서 하나님 앞에서 의롭고 깨끗한 사람은 없다고 하였다.
  
  욥의 대답(23:1-24:25)    
 
  1. ヨブ は 答えて 言った．
  2. きょうもまた， 私はそむく 心でうめき， 私の 手は 自分の 嘆きのために 重い．
  3. ああ， できれば， どこで 神に 會えるかを 知り， その 御座にまで 行きたい．
  4. 私は 御前に 訴えを ¿べたて， ことばの 限り 討論したい．
  5. 私は 神が 答えることばを 知り， 私に 言われることが 何であるかを 悟りたい．
  1. Then Job answered and said,
  2. Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
  3. Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
  4. I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
  5. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
  1. 神は 力强く 私と 爭われるだろうか． いや， むしろ 私に 心を 留めてくださろう．
  2. そこでは 正しい 人が 神と 論じ 合おう． そうすれば 私は， とこしえにさばきを 免れる．
  3. ああ， 私が 前へ 進んでも， 神はおられず， うしろに 行っても， 神を 認めることができない．
  4. 左に 向かって 行っても， 私は 神を 見ず， 右に 向きを 變えても， 私は 會うことができない．
  5. しかし， 神は， 私の 行く 道を 知っておられる． 神は 私を 調べられる． 私は 金のように， 出て 來る．
  1. Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.
  2. There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
  3. Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
  4. On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
  5. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
  1. 私の 足は 神の 步みにつき 從い， 神の 道を 守って， それなかった．
  2. 私は 神のくちびるの 命令から 離れず， 私の 定めよりも， 御口のことばをたくわえた．
  3. しかし， みこころは 一つである． だれがそれを 飜すことができようか． 神はこころの 欲するところを 行なわれる．
  4. 神は， 私について 定めたことを， 成し 遂げられるからだ． このような 多くの 定めが 神のうちにある．
  5. だから， 私は 神の 前でおびえ， これを 思って， 神を 恐れているのだ．
  1. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
  2. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
  3. But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
  4. For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
  5. Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
  1. 神は 私の 心を 弱くし， 全能者は 私をおびえさせた．
  2. 私はやみによって 消されず， 彼が， 暗黑を 私の 前からなくされたからだ．
  1. For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
  2. Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
 
 
  1. なぜ， 全能者によって 時が 隱されていないのに， 神を 知る 者たちがその 日を 見ないのか．
  2. ある 者は 地境を 動かし， 群れを 奪い 取ってこれを 飼い，
  3. みなしごのろばを 連れ 去り， やもめの 牛を 質に 取り，
  4. 貧しい 者を 道から 押しのける． その 地の 哀れな 人¿は， 共に 身を 隱す．
  5. 見よ． 荒野の 野ろばを． 彼らは， 出て 行き， 荒れた 地で 獲物を 求めて 搜し 回り， 自分の 子らのためにえさを 求める．
  1. Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
  2. Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
  3. They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.
  4. They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
  5. Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
  1. 飼葉を 畑で 刈り 取り， 惡者のぶどう 畑をかすめる．
  2. 彼らは 着る 物もなく， 裸で 夜を 明かし， 寒さの 中でも 身をおおう 物がない．
  3. 山のあらしでずぶぬれになり， 避け 所もなく， 岩を 抱く．
  4. 彼らはみなしごを 乳房からもぎ 取り， 貧しい 者の 持ち 物を 質に 取る．
  5. 彼らは 着る 物もなく， 裸で 步き， 飢えながら 麥束をになう．
  1. They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
  2. They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
  3. They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
  4. They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.
  5. They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
  1. その 植え ¿みの 間で 油をしぼり， 酒ぶねを 踏みながら， なお 渴く．
  2. 人の 住む 町からうめき 聲が 起こり， 傷ついた 者のたましいは 助けを 求めて 叫ぶ． しかし， 神はその 愚痴に 心を 留められない．
  3. これらの 者は 光に 反逆する 者で， 光の 道を 認めず， また， その 通り 道にとどまらない．
  4. 人殺しは， 夜明けに 起き 上がり， 哀れな 者や 貧しい 者を 殺し， 夜には 盜人のようになる．
  5. 姦通する 者の 目は 夕暮れを 待ちもうけ， 「私に 氣づく 目はない． 」と 言い， その 顔におおう 物を 當てる．
  1. Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
  2. Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.
  3. They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
  4. The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
  5. The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
  1. 彼は 暗くなってから， 家¿に 侵入する． ¿間は 閉じこもって 光を 知らない．
  2. すべて 彼にとっては 暗黑が 朝である． 彼は 暗黑の 恐怖と 親しいからだ．
  3. 彼は 水の 面をすばやく 過ぎ 去り， 彼の 割り 當ての 地は 國の 中でのろわれる． 彼はぶどう 畑の 道のほうに 向かわない．
  4. ひでりと 暑さは 雪の 水を 奪い， よみは 罪を 犯した 者を 奪う．
  5. 母の 胎は 彼を 忘れ， うじは 彼を 好んで 食べ， 彼はもう 思い 出されない． 不正な 者は 木のように 折られてしまう．
  1. In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
  2. For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
  3. He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
  4. Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.
  5. The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
  1. 彼は 子を 産まない 不妊の 女を 食いものにし， やもめによくしてやらない．
  2. しかし， 神は 力をもって 暴虐な 者たちを 生きのびるようにされる． 彼はいのちがあるとは 信じられないときにも 立ち 上がる．
  3. 神が 彼に 安全を 與える． それで， 彼は 休むことができる． 神の 目は 彼らの 道の 上に 注がれる．
  4. 彼らはしばらくの 間， 高められるが， 消えうせる． 彼らは 低くされ， ほかのすべての 者と 同じように 刈り 集められる． 麥の 穗先のように 枯れてしまう．
  5. 今そうでないからといって， だれが 私をまやかし 者だと 言えよう． だれが 私のことばをたわごとにしようとするのか．
  1. He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.
  2. He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
  3. Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.
  4. They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
  5. And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
 
  빌닷의 세번째 충고(25:1-26:14)    
 
  1. シュアハ 人 ビルダデ が 答えて 言った．
  2. 主權と 恐れとは 神のもの． 神はその 高き 所で 平和をつくる．
  3. その 軍勢の 數ほどのものがほかにあろうか． その 光に 照らされないものがだれかいようか．
  4. 人はどうして 神の 前に 正しくありえようか． 女から 生まれた 者が， どうしてきよくありえようか．
  5. ああ， 神の 目には 月さえも 輝きがなく， 星もきよくない．
  1. Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
  2. Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
  3. Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
  4. How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
  5. Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
  1. ましてうじである 人間， 蟲けらの 人の 子はなおさらである．
  1. How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
 
 
  1. ヨブ は 答えて 言った．
  2. あなたは 無力な 者をどのようにして 助けたのか． 力のない 腕をどのようにして 救ったのか．
  3. 知惠のない 者をどのようにしていさめ， 豊かなすぐれた 知性を 示したのか．
  4. あなたはだれに 對してことばを 告げているのか． だれの 息があなたから 出たのか．
  5. 死者の 靈は， 水とそこに 住むものとの 下にあって 震える．
  1. But Job answered and said,
  2. How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
  3. How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
  4. To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
  5. Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
  1. よみも 神の 前では 裸であり， 滅びの 淵もおおわれない．
  2. 神は 北を 虛空に 張り， 地を 何もない 上に 掛けられる．
  3. 神は 水を 濃い 雲の 中に 包まれるが， その 下の 雲は 裂けない．
  4. 神は 御座の 面をおおい， その 上に 雲を 廣げ，
  5. 水の 面に 円を 描いて， 光とやみとの 境とされた．
  1. Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
  2. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
  3. He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
  4. He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
  5. He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
  1. 神がしかると， 天の 柱は 震い， 恐れる．
  2. 神は 御力によって 海をかき 立て， 神の 英知をもって ラハブ を 打ち ¿く．
  3. その 息によって 天は 晴れ 渡り， 御手は 逃げる 蛇を 刺し 通す．
  4. 見よ． これらはただ 神の 道の 外側にすぎない． 私たちはただ， 神についてのささやきしか 聞いていない． だれが， その 力ある 雷を 聞き 分けえようか．
  1. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
  2. He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
  3. By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
  4. Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
