- 私たちの 主 イエス · キリスト の 父なる 神がほめたたえられますように． 神は キリスト において， 天にあるすべての 靈的祝福をもって 私たちを 祝福してくださいました．
- すなわち， 神は 私たちを 世界の 基の 置かれる 前から キリスト のうちに 選び， 御前で 聖く， 傷のない 者にしようとされました．
- 神は， ただみこころのままに， 私たちを イエス · キリスト によってご 自分の 子にしようと， 愛をもってあらかじめ 定めておられたのです．

- Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

- According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
- Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

- それは， 神がその 愛する 方によって 私たちに 與えてくださった 惠みの 榮光が， ほめたたえられるためです．
- 私たちは， この 御子のうちにあって， 御子の 血による ·い， すなわち 罪の 赦しを 受けているのです． これは 神の 豊かな 惠みによることです．
- 神はこの 惠みを 私たちの 上にあふれさせ， あらゆる 知惠と 思慮深さをもって，
- みこころの 奧義を 私たちに 知らせてくださいました． それは， 神が 御子においてあらかじめお 立てになったご 計畵によることであって，
- 時がついに 滿ちて， この 時のためのみこころが 實行に 移され， 天にあるものも 地にあるものも， いっさいのものが， キリスト にあって 一つに 集められることなのです． この キリスト にあって，

- To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
- In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
- Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
- Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
- That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

- 私たちは 彼にあって 御國を 受け 繼ぐ 者ともなったのです． 私たちは， みこころによりご 計畵のままをみな 實現される 方の 目的に 從って， このようにあらかじめ 定められていたのです．
- それは， 前から キリスト に 望みをおいていた 私たちが， 神の 榮光をほめたたえる 者となるためです．
- またあなたがたも， キリスト にあって， 眞理のことば， すなわちあなたがたの 救いの 福音を 聞き， またそれを 信じたことによって， 約束の 聖靈をもって 證印を 押されました．
- 聖靈は 私たちが 御國を 受け 繼ぐことの 保證であられます． これは 神の 民の ·いのためであり， 神の 榮光がほめたたえられるためです．
- こういうわけで， 私は 主 イエス に 對するあなたがたの 信仰と， すべての 聖徒に 對する 愛とを 聞いて，

- In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
- That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
- In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
- Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
- Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

- あなたがたのために 絶えず 感謝をささげ， あなたがたのことを 覺えて 祈っています．
- どうか， 私たちの 主 イエス · キリスト の 神， すなわち 榮光の 父が， 神を 知るための 知惠と 啓示の 御靈を， あなたがたに 與えてくださいますように．
- また， あなたがたの 心の 目がはっきり 見えるようになって， 神の 召しによって 與えられる 望みがどのようなものか， 聖徒の 受け 繼ぐものがどのように 榮光に 富んだものか，
- また， 神の 全能の 力の ¿きによって 私たち 信じる 者に ¿く 神のすぐれた 力がどのように 偉大なものであるかを， あなたがたが 知ることができますように．
- 神は， その 全能の 力を キリスト のうちに ¿かせて， キリスト を 死者の 中からよみがえらせ， 天上においてご 自分の 右の 座に 着かせて，

- Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
- And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
- Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

- すべての 支配， 權威， 權力， 主權の 上に， また， 今の 世ばかりでなく， 次に 來る 世においてもとなえられる， すべての 名の 上に 高く 置かれました．
- また， 神は， いっさいのものを キリスト の 足の 下に 從わせ， いっさいのものの 上に 立つかしらである キリスト を， 敎會にお 與えになりました．
- 敎會は キリスト のからだであり， いっさいのものをいっさいのものによって 滿たす 方の 滿ちておられるところです．

- Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
- And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
- Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
