- 惡を 行なうことを 喜び， 惡いねじれごとを 樂しむ．
- 彼らの 道は 曲がり， その 道筋は 曲がりくねっている．
- あなたは， 他人の 妻から 身を 避けよ． ことばのなめらかな， 見知らぬ 女から．
- 彼女は 若いころの 連れ 合いを 捨て， その 神との 契約を 忘れている．

- Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
- Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
- Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
- To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
- Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

- 彼女の 家は 死に 下り， その 道筋はやみにつながる．
- 彼女のもとへ 行く 者はだれも 歸って 來ない． いのちの 道に 至らない．
- だから， あなたは 良い 人¿の 道に 步み， 正しい 人¿の 道を 守るがよい．
- 正直な 人は 地に 住みつき， 潔白な 人は 地に 生き 殘る．
- しかし， 惡者どもは 地から 絶やされ， 裏切り 者は 地から 根こぎにされる．

- For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
- None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
- That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
- For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
- But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
