- あなたは 彼らに 注意を 與えて， 支配者たちと 權威者たちに 服從し， 從順で， すべての 良いわざを 進んでする 者とならせなさい．
- また， だれをもそしらず， 爭わず， 柔和で， すべての 人に 優しい 態度を 示す 者とならせなさい．
- 私たちも 以前は， 愚かな 者であり， 不從順で， 迷った 者であり， いろいろな 欲情と 快樂の 奴隷になり， 惡意とねたみの 中に 生活し， 憎まれ 者であり， 互いに 憎み 合う 者でした．
- しかし， 私たちの 救い 主なる 神のいつくしみと 人への 愛とが 現われたとき，
- 神は， 私たちが 行なった 義のわざによってではなく， ご 自分のあわれみのゆえに， 聖靈による， 新生と 更新との 洗いをもって 私たちを 救ってくださいました．
