- 惡者のことばは 血に 飢えている． しかし 正しい 者の 口は 彼らを 救い 出す．
- 惡者はくつがえされて， いなくなる． しかし 正しい 者の 家は 立ち 續ける．
- 人はその 思慮深さによってほめられ， 心のねじけた 者はさげすまれる．
- 身分の 低い 人で 職を 持っている 者は， 高ぶっている 人で 食に 乏しい 者にまさる．
- 正しい 者は， 自分の 家畜のいのちに 氣を 配る． 惡者のあわれみは， 殘忍である．

- The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
- The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
- A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.
- He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.
- A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
