	다니엘 10:1-12:13 다니엘은 힛데겔 강가에서 금식 기도하던 중 인자의 환상을 보았다. 이 때 다니엘은 천사로부터 바사 제국의 멸망과 헬라의 등장, 헬라의 부흥과 멸망, 남방과 북방간의 전쟁, 새로운 북방 왕이 유대인을 박해하고 성전을 모독할 것에 대한 예언과 마지막 날에 있을 일들에 대한 예언을 받았다.

	힛데겔 강가의 묵시(10:1-12:13)

ぺルシヤの王クロスの第三年に，ベルテシャツァルと名づけられていたダニエルに，一つのことばが啓示された．そのことばは眞實で，大きないくさのことであった．彼はそのことばを理解し，その幻を悟っていた．

そのころ，私，ダニエルは，三週間の喪に服していた．

滿三週間，私は，ごちそうも食べず，肉もぶどう酒も口にせず，また身に油も塗らなかった．

第一の月の二十四日に，私はヒデケルという大きな川の岸にいた．

私が目を上げて，見ると，そこに，ひとりの人がいて，亞麻布の衣を着，腰にはウファズの金の帶を締めていた．

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

そのからだは綠柱石のようであり，その顔はいなずまのようであり，その目は燃えるたいまつのようであった．また，その腕と足は，みがきあげた靑銅のようで，そのことばの聲は群集の聲のようであった．

この幻は，私，ダニエルひとりだけが見て，私といっしょにいた人¿は，その幻を見なかったが，彼らは震え上がって逃げ隱れた．

私は，ひとり殘って，この大きな幻を見たが，私は，うちから力が拔け，顔の輝きもうせ，力を失った．

私はそのことばの聲を聞いた．そのことばの聲を聞いたとき，私は意識を失って，うつぶせに地に倒れた．

ちょうどそのとき，一つの手が私に觸れ，私のひざと手をゆさぶった．

His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

それから彼は私に言った．「神に愛されている人ダニエルよ．私が今から語ることばをよくわきまえよ．そこに立ち上がれ．私は今，あなたに遣わされたのだ．」彼が，このことばを私に語ったとき，私は震えながら立ち上がった．

彼は私に言った．「恐れるな．ダニエル．あなたが心を定めて悟ろうとし，あなたの神の前でへりくだろうと決めたその初めの日から，あなたのことばは聞かれているからだ．私が來たのは，あなたのことばのためだ．

ぺルシヤの國の君が二十一日間，私に向かって立っていたが，そこに，第一の君のひとり，ミカエルが私を助けに來てくれたので，私は彼をぺルシヤの王たちのところに殘しておき，

終わりの日にあなたの民に起こることを悟らせるために來たのだ．なお，その日についての幻があるのだが．」

彼が私にこのようなことを語っている間，私はうつむいていて，何も言えなかった．

And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

ちょうどそのとき，人の姿をとった者が，私のくちびるに觸れた．それで，私は口を開いて話し出し，私に向かって立っていた者に言った．「わが主よ．この幻によって，私は苦痛に襲われ，力を失いました．

わが主のしもべが，どうしてわが主と話せましょう．私には，もはや，力もうせてしまい，息も殘っていないのです．」

すると，人間のように見える者が，再び私に觸れ，私を力づけて，

言った．「神に愛されている人よ．恐れるな．安心せよ．强くあれ．强くあれ．」彼が私にこう言ったとき，私は奮い立って言った．「わが主よ．お話しください．あなたは私を力づけてくださいましたから．」

そこで，彼は言った．「私が，なぜあなたのところに來たかを知っているか．今は，ぺルシヤの君と戰うために歸って行く．私が出かけると，見よ，ギリシヤの君がやって來る．

And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

しかし，眞理の書に書かれていることを，あなたに知らせよう．あなたがたの君ミカエルのほかには，私とともに奮い立って，彼らに立ち向かう者はひとりもいない．

But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

··私はメディヤ人ダリヨスの元年に，彼を强くし，彼を力づけるために立ち上がった． ··

今，私は，あなたに眞理を示す．見よ．なお三人の王がぺルシヤに起こり，第四の者は，ほかのだれよりも，はるかに富む者となる．この者がその富によって强力になったとき，すべてのものを扇動してギリシヤの國に立ち向かわせる．

ひとりの勇敢な王が起こり，大きな權力をもって治め，思いのままにふるまう．

しかし，彼が起こったとき，その國は破れ，天の四方に向けて分割される．それは彼の子孫のものにはならず，また，彼が支配したほどの權力もなく，彼の國は根こぎにされて，その子孫以外のものとなる．

南の王が强くなる．しかし，その將軍のひとりが彼よりも强くなり，彼の權力よりも大きな權力をもって治める．

Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

何年かの後，彼らは同盟を結び，和睦をするために南の王の娘が北の王にとつぐが，彼女は勢力をとどめておくことができず，彼の力もとどまらない．この女と，彼女を連れて來た者，彼女を生んだ者，そのころ彼女を力づけた者は，死に渡される．

And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

それで，南の王は大いに怒り，出て來て，彼，すなわち北の王と戰う．北の王はおびただしい大軍を起こすが，その大軍は敵の手に渡される．

その大軍を連れ去ると，南の王の心は高ぶり，數万人を倒す．しかし，勝利を得ない．

北の王がまた，初めより大きなおびただしい大軍を起こし，何年かの後，大軍勢と多くの武器をもって必ず攻めて來るからである．

そのころ，多くの者が南の王に反抗して立ち上がり，あなたの民の暴徒たちもまた，高ぶってその幻を實現させようとするが，失敗する．

しかし，北の王が來て壘を築き，城壁のある町を攻め取ると，南の軍勢は立ち向かうことができず，精兵たちも對抗する力がない．

And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

そのようにして，これを攻めて來る者は，思うままにふるまう．彼に立ち向かう者はいない．彼は麗しい國にとどまり，彼の手で絶滅しようとする．

彼は自分の國の總力をあげて攻め入ろうと決意し，まず相手と和睦をし，娘のひとりを與えて，その國を滅ぼそうとする．しかし，そのことは成功せず，彼のためにもならない．

それで，彼は島¿に顔を向けて，その多くを攻め取る．しかし，ひとりの首領が，彼にそしりをやめさせるばかりか，かえってそのそしりを彼の上に返す．

それで，彼は自分の國のとりでに引き返して行くが，つまずき，倒れ，いなくなる．

彼に代わって，ひとりの人が起こる．彼は輝かしい國に，稅を取り立てる者を行き巡らすが，數日のうちに，怒りにもよらず，戰いにもよらないで，破られる．

But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

彼に代わって，ひとりの卑劣な者が起こる．彼には國の尊嚴は與えられないが，彼は不意にやって來て，巧言を使って國を堅く握る．

洪水のような軍勢も，彼によって一掃され，打ち ¿かれ，契約の君主もまた，打ち ¿かれる．

彼は，同盟しては，これを欺き，ますます小國の間で勢力を得る．

彼は不意に州の肥沃な地域に侵入し，彼の父たちも，父の父たちもしなかったことを行なう．彼は，そのかすめ奪った物，分捕り物，財寶を，彼らの間で分け合う．彼はたくらみを設けて，要塞を攻めるが，それは，時が來るまでのことである．

彼は勢力と勇氣を驅り立て，大軍勢を率いて南の王に立ち向かう．南の王もまた，非常に强い大軍勢を率い，奮い立ってこれと戰う．しかし，彼は抵抗することができなくなる．彼に對してたくらみを設ける者たちがあるからである．

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

彼のごちそうを食べる者たちが彼を滅ぼし，彼の軍勢は押し流され，多くの者が刺し殺されて倒れる．

このふたりの王は，心では惡事を計りながら，一つ食卓につき，まやかしを言うが，成功しない．その終わりは，まだ定めの時にかかっているからだ．

彼は多くの財寶を携えて自分の國に歸るが，彼の心は聖なる契約を敵視して，ほしいままにふるまい，自分の國に歸る．

定めの時になって，彼は再び南へ攻めて行くが，この二度目は，初めのときのようではない．

キティムの船が彼に立ち向かって來るので，彼は落膽して引き返し，聖なる契約にいきりたち，ほしいままにふるまう．彼は歸って行って，その聖なる契約を捨てた者たちを重く取り立てるようになる．

Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

And both of these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

彼の軍隊は立ち上がり，聖所ととりでを汚し，常供のささげ物を取り除き，荒らす忌むべきものを据える．

彼は契約を犯す者たちを巧言をもって墮落させるが，自分の神を知る人たちは，堅く立って事を行なう．

民の中の思慮深い人たちは，多くの人を悟らせる．彼らは，長い間，劍にかかり，火に燒かれ，とりことなり，かすめ奪われて倒れる．

彼らが倒れるとき，彼らへの助けは少ないが，多くの人は，巧言を使って思慮深い人につく．

思慮深い人のうちのある者は，終わりの時までに彼らを練り，淸め，白くするために倒れるが，それは，定めの時がまだ來ないからである．

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

この王は，思いのままにふるまい，すべての神よりも自分を高め，大いなるものとし，神の神に向かってあきれ果てるようなことを語り，憤りが終わるまで榮える．定められていることが，なされるからである．

彼は，先祖の神¿を心にかけず，女たちの慕うものも，どんな神¿も心にかけない．すべてにまさって自分を大きいものとするからだ．

その代わりに，彼はとりでの神をあがめ，金，銀，寶石，寶物で，彼の先祖たちの知らなかった神をあがめる．

彼は外國の神の助けによって，城壁のあるとりでを取り，彼が認める者には，榮譽を增し加え，多くのものを治めさせ，代價として國土を分け與える．

終わりの時に，南の王が彼と戰いを交える．北の王は戰車，騎兵，および大船團を率いて，彼を襲擊し，國¿に侵入し，押し流して越えて行く．

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

彼は麗しい國に攻め入り，多くの國¿が倒れる．しかし，エドムとモアブ，またアモン人のおもだった人¿は，彼の手から逃げる．

彼は國¿に手を伸ばし，エジプトの國ものがれることはない．

彼は金銀の秘藏物と，エジプトのすべての寶物を手に入れ，ルブ人とクシュ人が彼につき從う．

しかし，東と北からの知らせが彼を脅かす．彼は，多くの者を絶滅しようとして，激しく怒って出て行く．

彼は，海と聖なる麗しい山との間に，本營の天幕を張る．しかし，ついに彼の終わりが來て，彼を助ける者はひとりもない．

He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

その時，あなたの國の人¿を守る大いなる君，ミカエルが立ち上がる．國が始まって以來，その時まで，かつてなかったほどの苦難の時が來る．しかし，その時，あなたの民で，あの書にしるされている者はすべて救われる．

地のちりの中に眠っている者のうち，多くの者が目をさます．ある者は永遠のいのちに，ある者はそしりと永遠の忌みに．

思慮深い人¿は大空の輝きのように輝き，多くの者を義とした者は，世¿限りなく，星のようになる．

ダニエルよ．あなたは終わりの時まで，このことばを秘めておき，この書を封じておけ．多くの者は知識を增そうと探り回ろう．」

私，ダニエルが見ていると，見よ，ふたりの人が立っていて，ひとりは川のこちら岸に，ほかのひとりは川の向こう岸にいた．

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

それで私は，川の水の上にいる，あの亞麻布の衣を着た人に言った．「この不思議なことは，いつになって終わるのですか．」

すると私は，川の水の上にいる，あの亞麻布の衣を着た人が語るのを聞いた．彼は，その右手と左手を天に向けて上げ，永遠に生きる方をさして誓って言った．「それは，ひと時とふた時と半時である．聖なる民の勢力を打ち ¿くことが終わったとき，これらすべてのことが成就する．」

私はこれを聞いたが，悟ることができなかった．そこで，私は尋ねた．「わが主よ．この終わりは，どうなるのでしょう．」

彼は言った．「ダニエルよ．行け．このことばは，終わりの時まで，秘められ，封じられているからだ．

多くの者は，身を淸め，白くし，こうして練られる．惡者どもは惡を行ない，ひとりも悟る者がいない．しかし，思慮深い人¿は悟る．

And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

常供のささげ物が取り除かれ，荒らす忌むべきものが据えられる時から千二百九十日がある．

幸いなことよ．忍んで待ち，千三百三十五日に達する者は．

あなたは終わりまで步み，休みに入れ．あなたは時の終わりに，あなたの割り當ての地に立つ．」

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
