- 忠實な 人は 多くの 祝福を 得る． しかし 富を 得ようとあせる 者は 罰を 免れない．
- 人をかたより 見るのは 良くない． 人は 一切れの パン で， そむく．
- ·欲な 人は 財産を 得ようとあせり， 欠乏が 自分に 來るのを 知らない．
- 人を 責める 者は， へつらいを 言う 者より 後に， 惠みを 得る．
- 自分の 父母の 物を 盜んで， 「私は 罪を 犯していない． 」と 言う 者は， 滅びをもたらす 者の 仲間である．

- A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
- To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
- He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
- He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
- Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
