- むちと 叱責とは 知惠を 與える． わがままにさせた 子は， 母に 恥を 見させる．
- 惡者がふえると， そむきの 罪も 增す． しかし 正しい 者は 彼らの 滅びを 見る．
- あなたの 子を 懲らせ． そうすれば， 彼はあなたを 安らかにし， あなたの 心に 喜びを 與える．
- 幻がなければ， 民はほしいままにふるまう． しかし 律法を 守る 者は 幸いである．
