- これが 愚か 者どもの 道， 彼らに 從い， 彼らの 言うことを 受け 入れる 者どもの 道である． セラ
- 彼らは 羊のようによみに 定められ， 死が 彼らの 羊飼いとなる． 朝は， 直ぐな 者が 彼らを 支配する． 彼らのかたちはなくなり， よみがその 住む 所となる．
- しかし 神は 私のたましいをよみの 手から 買い 戾される． 神が 私を 受け 入れてくださるからだ． セラ
- 恐れるな． 人が 富を 得ても， その 人の 家の 榮譽が 增し 加わっても．
- 人は， 死ぬとき， 何一つ 持って 行くことができず， その 榮譽も 彼に 從って 下っては 行かないのだ．

- This is the way of those who are foolish, And of those after them who approve their words. Selah.
- As sheep they are appointed for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; And the upright shall rule over them in the morning, And their form shall be for Sheol to consume So that they have no habitation.
- But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, For He will receive me. Selah.
- Do not be afraid when a man becomes rich, When the glory of his house is increased;
- For when he dies he will carry nothing away; His glory will not descend after him.
