- 愚か 者は 心の 中で「神はいない． 」と 言っている． 彼らは 腐っており， 忌まわしい 不正を 行なっている． 善を 行なう 者はいない．
- 神は 天から 人の 子らを 見おろして， 神を 尋ね 求める， 悟りのある 者がいるかどうかをご 覽になった．
- 彼らはみな， そむき 去り， だれもかれも 腐り 果てている． 善を 行なう 者はいない． ひとりもいない．
- 不法を 行なう 者らは 知らないのか． 彼らは パン を 食らうように， わたしの 民を 食らい， 神を 呼び 求めようとはしない．
- 見よ． 彼らが 恐れのないところで， いかに 恐れたかを． それは 神が， あなたに 對して 陣を 張る 者の 骨をまき 散らされたからだ． あなたは 彼らをはずかしめた． それは 神が 彼らを 捨てられたからだ．

- God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there is anyone who understands, Who seeks after God.
- Every one of them has turned aside; together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.
- Have the workers of wickedness no knowledge, Who eat up My people as though they ate bread And have not called upon God?
- There they were in great fear where no fear had been; For God scattered the bones of him who encamped against you; You put them to shame, because God had rejected them.
