- 力ある 者よ． ほんとうに， おまえたちは 義を 語り， 人の 子らを 公正にさばくのか．
- いや， 心では 不正を ¿き， 地上では， おまえたちの 手の 暴虐を， はびこらせている．
- 惡者どもは， 母の 胎を 出たときから， 踏み 迷い， 僞りを 言う 者どもは 生まれたときからさまよっている．
- 彼らは， 蛇の 毒のような 毒を 持ち， その 耳をふさぐ 耳しいの コブラ のようだ．
- これは， 蛇使いの 聲も， 巧みに 呪文を 唱える 者の 聲も， 聞こうとしない．

- Do you indeed speak righteousness, O gods? Do you judge uprightly, O sons of men?
- No, in heart you work unrighteousness; On earth you weigh out the violence of your hands.
- The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.
- They have venom like the venom of a serpent; Like a deaf cobra that stops up its ear,
- So that it does not hear the voice of charmers, Or a skillful caster of spells.

- 神よ． 彼らの 齒を， その 口の 中で 折ってください． 主よ． 若獅子のきばを， 打ち ¿いてください．
- 彼らを， 流れて 行く 水のように 消え 去らせてください． 彼が 矢を 放つときは， それを 折れた 矢のようにしてください．
- 彼らを， 溶けて， 消えていくかたつむりのように， また， 日の 目を 見ない， 死産の 子のようにしてください．
- おまえたちの 釜が， いばらの 火を 感じる 前に， 神は， 生のものも， 燃えているものも， ひとしくつむじ 風で 吹き 拂われる．
- 正しい 者は， 復讐を 見て 喜び， その 足を， 惡者の 血で 洗おう．

- O God, shatter their teeth in their mouth; Break out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD.
- Let them flow away like water that runs off; When he aims his arrows, let them be as headless shafts.
- Let them be as a snail which melts away as it goes along, Like the miscarriages of a woman which never see the sun.
- Before your pots can feel the fire of thorns He will sweep them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
- The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

- こうして 人¿は 言おう． 「まことに， 正しい 者には 報いがある． まことに， さばく 神が， 地におられる． 」

- And men will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely there is a God who judges on earth!"
