- このとき， 弟子たちが 歸って 來て， イエス が 女の 人と 話しておられるのを 不思議に 思った． しかし， だれも， 「何を 求めておられるのですか． 」とも， 「なぜ 彼女と 話しておられるのですか． 」とも 言わなかった．
- 女は， 自分の 水がめを 置いて 町へ 行き， 人¿に 言った．
- 「來て， 見てください． 私のしたこと 全部を 私に 言った 人がいるのです． この 方が キリスト なのでしょうか． 」
- そこで， 彼らは 町を 出て， イエス のほうへやって 來た．
- そのころ， 弟子たちは イエス に， 「先生． 召し 上がってください． 」とお 願いした．

- At this point His disciples came, and they were amazed that He had been speaking with a woman, yet no one said, "What do You seek?" or, "Why do You speak with her?"
- So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city and said to the men,
- "Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?"
- They went out of the city, and were coming to Him.
- Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, "Rabbi, eat."

- しかし， イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「わたしには， あなたがたの 知らない 食物があります． 」
- そこで， 弟子たちは 互いに 言った． 「だれか 食べる 物を 持って 來たのだろうか． 」
- イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「わたしを 遣わした 方のみこころを 行ない， そのみわざを 成し 遂げることが， わたしの 食物です．
- あなたがたは， 『刈り 入れ 時が 來るまでに， まだ 四か 月ある． 』と 言ってはいませんか． さあ， わたしの 言うことを 聞きなさい． 目を 上げて 畑を 見なさい． 色づいて， 刈り 入れるばかりになっています．
- すでに， 刈る 者は 報酬を 受け， 永遠のいのちに 入れられる 實を 集めています． それは 蒔く 者と 刈る 者がともに 喜ぶためです．

- But He said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about."
- So the disciples were saying to one another, "No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?"
- Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.
- "Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.
- "Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

- こういうわけで， 『ひとりが 種を 蒔き， ほかの 者が 刈り 取る． 』ということわざは， ほんとうなのです．
- わたしは， あなたがたに 自分で 勞苦しなかったものを 刈り 取らせるために， あなたがたを 遣わしました． ほかの 人¿が 勞苦して， あなたがたはその 勞苦の 實を 得ているのです． 」
- さて， その 町の サマリヤ 人のうち 多くの 者が， 「あの 方は， 私がしたこと 全部を 私に 言った． 」と 證言したその 女のことばによって イエス を 信じた．
- そこで， サマリヤ 人たちは イエス のところに 來たとき， 自分たちのところに 滯在してくださるように 願った． そこで イエス は 二日間そこに 滯在された．
- そして， さらに 多くの 人¿が， イエス のことばによって 信じた．

- "For in this case the saying is true, 'One sows and another reaps.'
- "I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored and you have entered into their labor."
- From that city many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all the things that I have done."
- So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days.
- Many more believed because of His word;

- そして 彼らはその 女に 言った． 「もう 私たちは， あなたが 話したことによって 信じているのではありません． 自分で 聞いて， この 方がほんとうに 世の 救い 主だと 知っているのです． 」
|
- and they were saying to the woman, "It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world."
