사도행전 13:44-14:7

 복음을 영접하는 사람들이 늘어가자, 유대인들은 자신들의 권위와 지지 기반이 약화될 것을 우려해 바울과 바나바를 핍박하고 비시디아 안디옥에서 쫓아냈다. 이고니온으로 온 바울과 바나바는 그 곳에서도 복음을 전했으나, 역시 유대인들의 극심한 박해로 루스드라로 가게 되었다.
  
  유대인들의 박해(13:44-13:52)    
 
  1. 次の 安息日には， ほとんど 町中の 人が， 神のことばを 聞きに 集まって 來た．
  2. しかし， この 群衆を 見た ユダヤ 人たちは， ねたみに 燃え， パウロ の 話に 反對して， 口ぎたなくののしった．
  3. そこで パウロ と バルナバ は， はっきりとこう 宣言した． 「神のことばは， まずあなたがたに 語られなければならなかったのです． しかし， あなたがたはそれを 拒んで， 自分自身を 永遠のいのちにふさわしくない 者と 決めたのです． 見なさい． 私たちは， これからは 異邦人のほうへ 向かいます．
  4. なぜなら， 主は 私たちに， こう 命じておられるからです． 『わたしはあなたを 立てて， 異邦人の 光とした． あなたが 地の 果てまでも 救いをもたらすためである． 』」
  5. 異邦人たちは， それを 聞いて 喜び， 主のみことばを 贊美した． そして， 永遠のいのちに 定められていた 人たちは， みな， 信仰にはいった．
  1. The next Sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of the Lord.
  2. But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, and were blaspheming.
  3. Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
  4. "For so the Lord has commanded us, 'I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.'"
  5. When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.
  1. こうして ， 主のみことばは， この 地方全體に 廣まった．
  2. ところが， ユダヤ 人たちは， 神を 敬う 貴婦人たちや 町の 有力者たちを 扇動して， パウロ と バルナバ を 迫害させ， ふたりをその 地方から 追い 出した．
  3. ふたりは， 彼らに 對して 足のちりを 拂い 落として， イコニオム へ 行った．
  4. 弟子たちは 喜びと 聖靈に 滿たされていた．
  1. And the word of the Lord was being spread through the whole region.
  2. But the Jews incited the devout women of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.
  3. But they shook off the dust of their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.
  4. And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
 
  이고니온에서 루스드라까지(14:1-14:7)    
 
  1. イコニオム でも， ふたりは 連れ 立って ユダヤ 人の 會堂にはいり， 話をすると， ユダヤ 人も ギリシヤ 人も 大ぜいの 人が 信仰にはいった．
  2. しかし， 信じようとしない ユダヤ 人たちは， 異邦人たちをそそのかして， 兄弟たちに 對し 惡意を 抱かせた．
  3. それでも， ふたりは 長らく 滯在し， 主によって 大膽に 語った． 主は， 彼らの 手にしるしと 不思議なわざを 行なわせ， 御惠みのことばの 證明をされた．
  4. ところが， 町の 人¿は 二派に 分かれ， ある 者は ユダヤ 人の 側につき， ある 者は 使徒たちの 側についた．
  5. 異邦人と ユダヤ 人が 彼らの 指導者たちといっしょになって， 使徒たちをはずかしめて， 石打ちにしようと 企てたとき，
  1. In Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a manner that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of Greeks.
  2. But the Jews who disbelieved stirred up the minds of the Gentiles and embittered them against the brethren.
  3. Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.
  4. But the people of the city were divided; and some sided with the Jews, and some with the apostles.
  5. And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them,
  1. ふたりはそれを 知って， ルカオニヤ の 町である ルステラ と デルベ ， およびその 付近の 地方に 難を 避け，
  2. そこで 福音の 宣敎を 續けた．
  1. they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding region;
  2. and there they continued to preach the gospel.
