욥기 7:1-9:35

 욥의 답변과 호소가 계속되는 가운데 수아 사람 빌닷이 욥의 변명을 반박하였다. 빌닷은 공의로우신 하나님을 말하면서 욥의 자녀들이 죄의 대가로 죽은 것이라고 하였다. 그는 욥에게 옛 열조들의 경험과 지혜를 배우라고 권고하면서, 욥이 회개하면 다시 회복될 것이라고 충고하였다. 그러자 욥은 하나님의 강력한 권능과 자신의 약함을 대조하면서 자신의 순전함을 고백하였다.
  
  욥의 답변(7:1-7:21)    
 
  1. 地上の 人には 苦役があるではないか． その 日¿は 日雇人の 日¿のようではないか．
  2. 日陰をあえぎ 求める 奴隷のように， 賃金を 待ち 望む 日雇人のように，
  3. 私にはむなしい 月¿が 割り 當てられ， 苦しみの 夜が 定められている．
  4. 橫たわるとき， 私は 言う． 「私はいつ 起きられるだろうか． 」と． 夜は 長く， 私は 曉まで 寢返りをうち 續ける．
  5. 私の 肉はうじと 土くれをまとい， 私の 皮は 固まっては， またくずれる．
  1. "Is not man forced to labor on earth, And are not his days like the days of a hired man?
  2. "As a slave who pants for the shade, And as a hired man who eagerly waits for his wages,
  3. So am I allotted months of vanity, And nights of trouble are appointed me.
  4. "When I lie down I say, 'When shall I arise?' But the night continues, And I am continually tossing until dawn.
  5. "My flesh is clothed with worms and a crust of dirt, My skin hardens and runs.
  1. 私の 日¿は 機の ¿よりも 速く， 望みもなく 過ぎ 去る．
  2. 思い 出してください． 私のいのちはただの 息であることを． 私の 目は 再び 幸いを 見ないでしょう．
  3. 私を 見る 者の 目は， 私を 認めることができないでしょう． あなたの 目が 私に 向けられても， 私はもういません．
  4. 雲が 消え 去ってしまうように， よみに 下る 者は， もう 上って 來ないでしょう．
  5. 彼はもう 自分の 家に 歸らず， 彼の 家も， もう 彼を 認めないでしょう．
  1. "My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, And come to an end without hope.
  2. "Remember that my life is but breath; My eye will not again see good.
  3. "The eye of him who sees me will behold me no longer; Your eyes will be on me, but I will not be.
  4. "When a cloud vanishes, it is gone, So he who goes down to Sheol does not come up.
  5. "He will not return again to his house, Nor will his place know him anymore.
  1. それゆえ， 私も 自分の 口を 制することをせず， 私の 靈の 苦しみの 中から 語り， 私のたましいの 苦惱の 中から 嘆きます．
  2. 私は 海でしょうか， 海の 巨¿でしょうか， あなたが 私の 上に 見張りを 置かれるとは．

  1. "Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
  2. "Am I the sea, or the sea monster, That You set a guard over me?
  3. "If I say, 'My bed will comfort me, My couch will ease my complaint,'
  4. Then You frighten me with dreams And terrify me by visions;
  5. So that my soul would choose suffocation, Death rather than my pains.
  1. 私はいのちをいといます． 私はいつまでも 生きたくありません． 私にかまわないでください． 私の 日¿はむなしいものです．
  2. 人とは 何者なのでしょう． あなたがこれを 尊び， これに 御心を 留められるとは．
  3. また， 朝ごとにこれを 訪れ， そのつどこれをためされるとは．
  4. いつまで， あなたは 私から 目をそらされないのですか． つばをのみこむ 間も， 私を 捨てておかれないのですか．

  1. "I waste away; I will not live forever Leave me alone, for my days are but a breath.
  2. "What is man that You magnify him, And that You are concerned about him,
  3. That You examine him every morning And try him every moment?
  4. "Will You never turn Your gaze away from me, Nor let me alone until I swallow my spittle?
  5. "Have I sinned? What have I done to You, O watcher of men? Why have You set me as Your target, So that I am a burden to myself?
  1. どうして， あなたは 私のそむきの 罪を 赦さず， 私の 不義を 除かれないのですか． 今， 私はちりの 中に 橫たわります． あなたが 私を 搜されても， 私はもうおりません．
  1. "Why then do You not pardon my transgression And take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust; And You will seek me, but I will not be."
 
  빌닷의 첫번째 충고(8:1-8:22)    
 
  1. シュアハ 人 ビルダデ が 答えて 言った．
  2. いつまであなたはこのようなことを 語るのか． あなたが 口にすることばは 激しい 風のようだ．
  3. 神は 公義を 曲げるだろうか． 全能者は 義を 曲げるだろうか．
  4. もし， あなたの 子らが 神に 罪を 犯し， 神が 彼らをそのそむきの 罪の 手中に 送り ¿まれたのなら，
  5. もし， あなたが， 熱心に 神に 求め， 全能者にあわれみを 請うなら，
  1. Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
  2. "How long will you say these things, And the words of your mouth be a mighty wind?
  3. "Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert what is right?
  4. "If your sons sinned against Him, Then He delivered them into the power of their transgression.
  5. "If you would seek God And implore the compassion of the Almighty,
  1. もし， あなたが 純粹で 正しいなら， まことに 神は 今すぐあなたのために 起き 上がり， あなたの 義の 住まいを 回復される．
  2. あなたの 始めは 小さくても， その 終わりは， はなはだ 大きくなる．
  3. さあ， 先代の 人に 尋ねよ． その 先祖たちの 探求したことを 確かめよ．
  4. 私たちは， きのう 生まれた 者で， 何も 知らず， 私たちの 地上にある 日は 影だからである．
  5. 彼らはあなたに 敎え， あなたに 語りかけ， その 心からことばを 出さないだろうか．
  1. If you are pure and upright, Surely now He would rouse Himself for you And restore your righteous estate.
  2. "Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will increase greatly.
  3. "Please inquire of past generations, And consider the things searched out by their fathers.
  4. "For we are only of yesterday and know nothing, Because our days on earth are as a shadow.
  5. "Will they not teach you and tell you, And bring forth words from their minds?
  1. パピルス は 沼地でなくても 育つだろうか． 葦は 水がなくても 伸びるだろうか．
  2. これは， まだ 若芽のときには 刈られないのに， ほかの 草に 先立って 枯れる．
  3. すべて 神を 忘れる 者の 道はこのようだ． 神を 敬わない 者の 望みは 消えうせる．
  4. その 確信は， くもの 絲， その 信賴は， くもの 巢だ．
  5. 彼が 自分の 家に 寄りかかると， 家はそれに 耐えきれない． これにすがりつくと， それはもちこたえない．
  1. "Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? Can the rushes grow without water?
  2. "While it is still green and not cut down, Yet it withers before any other plant.
  3. "So are the paths of all who forget God; And the hope of the godless will perish,
  4. Whose confidence is fragile, And whose trust a spider's web.
  5. "He trusts in his house, but it does not stand; He holds fast to it, but it does not endure.
  1. 彼が 日に 當たって 靑¿と 茂り， その 若枝は 庭に 生えいで，
  2. その 根は 石くれの 山にからまり， それが 岩間に 生えても，
  3. 神がもし， その 場所からそれを 取り 除くと， その 場所は「私はあなたを 見たことがない． 」と 否む．
  4. 見よ． これが 彼の 道の 喜びである． ほかのものがその 地から 芽を 出そう．
  5. 見よ． 神は 潔白な 人を 退けない． 惡を 行なう 者の 手を 取らない．
  1. "He thrives before the sun, And his shoots spread out over his garden.
  2. "His roots wrap around a rock pile, He grasps a house of stones.
  3. "If he is removed from his place, Then it will deny him, saying, 'I never saw you.'
  4. "Behold, this is the joy of His way; And out of the dust others will spring.
  5. "Lo, God will not reject a man of integrity, Nor will He support the evildoers.
  1. ついには， 神は 笑いをあなたの 口に 滿たし， 喜びの 叫びをあなたのくちびるに 滿たす．
  2. あなたを 憎む 者は 恥を 見， 惡者どもの 天幕は， なくなってしまう．
  1. "He will yet fill your mouth with laughter And your lips with shouting.
  2. "Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, And the tent of the wicked will be no longer."
 
  욥의 대답(9:1-9:35)    
 
  1. ヨブ は 答えて 言った．
  2. まことに， そのとおりであることを 私は 知っている． しかし， どうして 人は 自分の 正しさを 神に 訴えることができようか．
  3. たとい 神と 言い 爭おうと 思っても， 千に 一つも 答えられまい．
  4. 神は 心に 知惠のある 方， 力の 强い 方． 神に 身をこわくして， だれがそのままで 濟むだろうか．
  5. 神が 山¿を 移されるが， だれもこれに 氣づかない． 神は 怒ってこれをくつがえされる．
  1. Then Job answered,
  2. "In truth I know that this is so; But how can a man be in the right before God?
  3. "If one wished to dispute with Him, He could not answer Him once in a thousand times.
  4. "Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?
  5. "It is God who removes the mountains, they know not how, When He overturns them in His anger;
  1. 神が 地をその 基から 震わすと， その 柱は ¿れ 動く．
  2. 神が 太陽に 命じると， それは 上らない． 星もまた 封じ ¿められる．
  3. 神はただひとりで 天を 張り 延ばし， 海の 大波を 踏まれる．
  4. 神は 牡牛座， オリオン 座， すばる 座， それに， 南の 天の 室を 造られた．
  5. 神は 大いなることを 行なって 測り 知れず， その 奇しいみわざは 數えきれない．
  1. Who shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble;
  2. Who commands the sun not to shine, And sets a seal upon the stars;
  3. Who alone stretches out the heavens And tramples down the waves of the sea;
  4. Who makes the Bear, Orion and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;
  5. Who does great things, unfathomable, And wondrous works without number.
  1. たとい 神が 私のそばを 通り 過ぎても， 私には 見えない． 神が 進んで 行っても， 私は 認めることができない．
  2. ああ， 神が 奪い 取ろうとするとき， だれがそれを 引き 止めることができようか． だれが 神に 向かって， 「何をされるのか． 」と 言いえよう．
  3. 神は 怒りを 飜さない． ラハブ を 助ける 者たちは， みもとに 身をかがめる．
  4. いったい， この 私が 神に 答えられようか． 私が 神とことばを 交せようか．
  5. たとい， 私が 正しくても， 神に 答えることはできない． 私をさばく 方にあわれみを 請うだけだ．
  1. "Were He to pass by me, I would not see Him; Were He to move past me, I would not perceive Him.
  2. "Were He to snatch away, who could restrain Him? Who could say to Him, 'What are You doing?'
  3. "God will not turn back His anger; Beneath Him crouch the helpers of Rahab.
  4. "How then can I answer Him, And choose my words before Him?
  5. "For though I were right, I could not answer; I would have to implore the mercy of my judge.
  1. たとい， 私が 呼び， 私に 答えてくださったとしても， 神が 私の 聲に 耳を 傾けられたとは， 信じられない．
  2. 神はあらしをもって 私を 打ち ¿き， 理由もないのに， 私の 傷を 增し 加え，
  3. 私に 息もつかせず， 私を 苦しみで 滿たしておられる．
  4. もし， 力について 言えば， 見よ， 神は 力强い． もし， さばきについて 言えば， だれが 私を 呼び 出すことができるか．
  5. たとい 私が 正しくても， 私自身の 口が 私を 罪ある 者とし， たとい 私が 潔白でも， 神は 私を 曲がった 者とされる．
  1. "If I called and He answered me, I could not believe that He was listening to my voice.
  2. "For He bruises me with a tempest And multiplies my wounds without cause.
  3. "He will not allow me to get my breath, But saturates me with bitterness.
  4. "If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?
  5. "Though I am righteous, my mouth will condemn me; Though I am guiltless, He will declare me guilty.
  1. 私は 潔白だ． しかし， 私には 自分自身がわからない． 私は 自分のいのちをいとう．
  2. みな 同じことだ． だから 私は 言う． 神は， 潔白な 者をも 惡者をも 共に 絶ち 滅ぼされる．
  3. にわか 水が 突然出て 人を 殺すと， 神は 罪のない 者の 受ける 試練をあざける．
  4. 地は 惡者の 手にゆだねられ， 神はそのさばきつかさらの 顔をおおう． もし， 神がそうするのでなければ， そうするのはだれか．
  5. 私の 日¿は 飛脚よりも 速い． それは 飛び 去って， しあわせを 見ない．
  1. "I am guiltless; I do not take notice of myself; I despise my life.
  2. "It is all one; therefore I say, 'He destroys the guiltless and the wicked.'
  3. "If the scourge kills suddenly, He mocks the despair of the innocent.
  4. "The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; He covers the faces of its judges. If it is not He, then who is it?
  5. "Now my days are swifter than a runner; They flee away, they see no good.
  1. それは 葦の 舟のように 通り 過ぎ， 獲物に 襲いかかるわしのように 通り 過ぎる．
  2. たとい「不平を 忘れ， 憂うつな 顔を 捨てて， 明るくなりたい． 」と 私が 言いましても，
  3. 私の 受けたすべての 苦痛を 思うと， 私はおびえます． 私は 知っています． あなたは， 私を 罪のない 者とはしてくださいません．
  4. 私はきっと， 罪ある 者とされましょう． ではなぜ， 私はいたずらに 勞するのでしょうか．
  5. たとい 私が 雪の 水で 身を 洗っても， 灰汁で 私の 手をきよめても，
  1. "They slip by like reed boats, Like an eagle that swoops on its prey.
  2. "Though I say, 'I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my sad countenance and be cheerful,'
  3. I am afraid of all my pains, I know that You will not acquit me.
  4. "I am accounted wicked, Why then should I toil in vain?
  5. "If I should wash myself with snow And cleanse my hands with lye,
  1. あなたは 私を 墓の 穴に 突き 落とし， 私の 着物は 私を 忌みきらいます．
  2. 神は 私のように 人間ではないから， 私は「さあ， さばきの 座にいっしょに 行こう． 」と 申し 入れることはできない．
  3. 私たちふたりの 上に 手を 置く 仲裁者が 私たちの 間にはいない．
  4. 神がその 杖を 私から 取り 去られるように． その 恐ろしさで 私をおびえさせないように．
  5. そうすれば， 私は 語りかけ， 神を 恐れまい． いま 私はそうではないからだ．
  1. Yet You would plunge me into the pit, And my own clothes would abhor me.
  2. "For He is not a man as I am that I may answer Him, That we may go to court together.
  3. "There is no umpire between us, Who may lay his hand upon us both.
  4. "Let Him remove His rod from me, And let not dread of Him terrify me.
  5. "Then I would speak and not fear Him; But I am not like that in myself.
