욥기 41:1-42:17

 하나님은 악어에 대하여 설명하시면서 인간의 한계를 나타내시고, 하나님의 주권적인 능력을 보여 주셨다. 이에 욥은 하나님의 전능하심과 자신의 미천함을 깨닫고 자신의 무지한 말과 교만을 회개하였다. 그리고 하나님께서 엘리바스에게 욥의 친구들이 올바르지 못했다고 책망하셨고, 욥은 친구들을 위해 야웨께 번제를 드렸다. 그 후 하나님께서는 욥에게 갑절의 복을 주셨다.
  
  욥의 회개(41:1-42:17)    
 
  1. あなたは 釣り 針で レビヤタン を 釣り 上げることができるか． 輪¿でその 舌を 押えつけることができるか．
  2. あなたは 葦をその 鼻に 通すことができるか． 一をそのあごに 突き 通すことができるか．
  3. これがあなたに， しきりに 哀願し， 優しいことばで， あなたに 語りかけるだろうか．
  4. これがあなたと 契約を 結び， あなたはこれを 捕えていつまでも 奴隷とすることができようか．
  5. あなたは 鳥と 戱れるようにこれと 戱れ， あなたの 娘たちのためにこれをつなぐことができるか．
  1. "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord?
  2. "Can you put a rope in his nose Or pierce his jaw with a hook?
  3. "Will he make many supplications to you, Or will he speak to you soft words?
  4. "Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him for a servant forever?
  5. "Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you bind him for your maidens?
  1. 漁師仲間はこれを 賣りに 出し， 商人たちの 間でこれを 分けるだろうか．
  2. あなたはもりでその 皮を， やすでその 頭を 十分に 突くことができようか．
  3. その 上にあなたの 手を 置いてみよ． その 戰いを 思い 出して， 二度と 手を 出すな．
  4. 見よ． その 望みは 裏切られる． それを 見ただけで 投げ 倒されるではないか．
  5. これを 起こすほどの 狂った 者はいない． だから， だれがいったい， わたしの 前に 立つことができよう．
  1. "Will the traders bargain over him? Will they divide him among the merchants?
  2. "Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears?
  3. "Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle; you will not do it again!
  4. "Behold, your expectation is false; Will you be laid low even at the sight of him?
  5. "No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me?
  1. だれがわたしにささげたのか， わたしが 報いなければならないほどに． 天の 下にあるものはみな， わたしのものだ．
  2. わたしは 彼のおしゃべりと， 雄弁と， 美辭麗句に 默っていることはできない．
  3. だれがその 外套をはぎ 取ることができるか． だれがその 胸當ての 折り 目の 間に， はいれるか．
  4. だれがその 顔の 戶をあけることができるか． その 齒の 回りは 恐ろしい．
  5. その 背は ¿んだ 盾， 封印したように 堅く 閉じている．
  1. "Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.
  2. "I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, Or his mighty strength, or his orderly frame.
  3. "Who can strip off his outer armor? Who can come within his double mail?
  4. "Who can open the doors of his face? Around his teeth there is terror.
  5. "His strong scales are his pride, Shut up as with a tight seal.
  1. 一つ 一つぴったりついて， 風もその 間を 通らない．
  2. 互いにくっつき 合い， 堅くついて 離せない．
  3. そのくしゃみはいなずまを 放ち， その 目は 曉のまぶたのようだ．
  4. その 口からは， たいまつが 燃え 出し， 火花を 散らす．
  5. その 鼻からは 煙が 出て， 煮え 立つかまや， 燃える 葦のようだ．
  1. "One is so near to another That no air can come between them.
  2. "They are joined one to another; They clasp each other and cannot be separated.
  3. "His sneezes flash forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
  4. "Out of his mouth go burning torches; Sparks of fire leap forth.
  5. "Out of his nostrils smoke goes forth As from a boiling pot and burning rushes.
  1. その 息は 炭火をおこし， その 口から 炎が 出る．
  2. その 首には 力が 宿り， その 前には 恐れが 踊る．
  3. その 肉のひだはくっつき 合い， その 身にしっかりついて， 動かない．
  4. その 心臟は 石のように 堅く， 臼の 下石のように 堅い．
  5. それが 起き 上がると， 力ある 者もおじけづき， ぎょっとしてとまどう．
  1. "His breath kindles coals, And a flame goes forth from his mouth.
  2. "In his neck lodges strength, And dismay leaps before him.
  3. "The folds of his flesh are joined together, Firm on him and immovable.
  4. "His heart is as hard as a stone, Even as hard as a lower millstone.
  5. "When he raises himself up, the mighty fear; Because of the crashing they are bewildered.
  1. それを 劍で 襲っても， ききめがなく， 槍も 投げ 槍も 矢じりもききめがない．
  2. それは 鐵をわらのように， 靑銅を 腐った 木のようにみなす．
  3. 矢もそれを 逃げさせることができず， 石投げの 石も， それにはわらのようになる．
  4. こん 棒をもわらのようにみなし， 投げ 槍のうなる 音をあざ 笑う．
  5. その 下腹は 銳い 土器のかけら， それは 打穀機のように 泥の 上に 身を 伸ばす．
  1. "The sword that reaches him cannot avail, Nor the spear, the dart or the javelin.
  2. "He regards iron as straw, Bronze as rotten wood.
  3. "The arrow cannot make him flee; Slingstones are turned into stubble for him.
  4. "Clubs are regarded as stubble; He laughs at the rattling of the javelin.
  5. "His underparts are like sharp potsherds; He spreads out like a threshing sledge on the mire.
  1. それは 深みをかまのように 沸き 立たせ， 海を 香油をかき 混ぜるなべのようにする．
  2. その 通ったあとは 輝き， 深い 淵は 白髮のように 思われる．
  3. 地の 上には， これと 似たものはなく， 恐れを 知らないものとして 造られた．

  1. "He makes the depths boil like a pot; He makes the sea like a jar of ointment.
  2. "Behind him he makes a wake to shine; One would think the deep to be gray-haired.
  3. "Nothing on earth is like him, One made without fear.
  4. "He looks on everything that is high; He is king over all the sons of pride."
 
 
  1. ヨブ は 主に 答えて 言った．
  2. あなたには， すべてができること， あなたは， どんな 計畵も 成し 遂げられることを， 私は 知りました．
  3. 知識もなくて， 攝理をおおい 隱した 者は， だれでしょう． まことに， 私は， 自分で 悟りえないことを 告げました． 自分でも 知りえない 不思議を．
  4. どうか 聞いてください． 私が 申し 上げます． 私はあなたにお 尋ねします． 私にお 示しください．

  1. Then Job answered the LORD and said,
  2. "I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.
  3. 'Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' "Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know."
  4. 'Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.'
  5. "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You;
  1. それで 私は 自分をさげすみ， ちりと 灰の 中で 悔い 改めます．

  4. テマン 人 エリファズ と， シュアハ 人 ビルダデ と， ナアマ 人 ツォファル が 行って， 主の 彼らに 命じたようにすると， 主は ヨブ の 祈りを 受け 入れられた．

  1. Therefore I retract, And I repent in dust and ashes."
  2. It came about after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is right as My servant Job has.
  3. "Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and My servant Job will pray for you For I will accept him so that I may not do with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has."
  4. So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD told them; and the LORD accepted Job.
  5. The LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold.

  1. Then all his brothers and all his sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversities that the LORD had brought on him. And each one gave him one piece of money, and each a ring of gold.
  2. The LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; and he had 14,000 sheep and 6,000 camels and 1,000 yoke of oxen and 1,000 female donkeys.
  3. He had seven sons and three daughters.
  4. He named the first Jemimah, and the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch.
  5. In all the land no women were found so fair as Job's daughters; and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.
  1. この 後 ヨブ は 百四十年生き， 自分の 子と， その 子の 子たちを 四代目まで 見た．
  2. こうして ヨブ は 老年を 迎え， 長壽を 全うして 死んだ．
  1. After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations.
  2. And Job died, an old man and full of days.
