- よこしまな 者や 不法の 者は， 曲がったことを 言って 步き 回り，
- 目くばせをし， 足で 合圖し， 指でさし，
- そのねじれた 心は， いつも 惡を 計り， 爭いをまき 散らす．
- それゆえ， 災害は 突然やって 來て， 彼はたちまち 滅ぼされ， いやされることはない．
- 主の 憎むものが 六つある． いや， 主ご 自身の 忌みきらうものが 七つある．

- A worthless person, a wicked man, Is the one who walks with a perverse mouth,
- Who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet, Who points with his fingers;
- Who with perversity in his heart continually devises evil, Who spreads strife.
- Therefore his calamity will come suddenly; Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing.
- There are six things which the LORD hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:

- 高ぶる 目， 僞りの 舌， 罪のない 者の 血を 流す 手，
- 邪惡な 計畵を 細工する 心， 惡へ 走るに 速い 足，
- まやかしを 吹聽する 僞りの 證人， 兄弟の 間に 爭いをひき 起こす 者．

- Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood,
- A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil,
- A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.
