	예레미야 23:33-25:38 하나님께서는 하나님의 말씀을 조소하는 무리들에게 영원한 치욕과 수치가 임하게 될 것을 선포하셨다. 무화과 두 광주리의 비유를 통해, 선한 무화과에 비유된 자들은 바벨론에 포로로 잡혀 갔다가 귀환하게 되지만, 악한 무화과나무에 비유된 자들은 바벨론의 포로가 되는 데 항거하여 이방에 흩어져 멸망될 것임을 보여 주셨다. 또한 유다를 징벌하신 후 바벨론과 이방 열국을 진멸하실 것을 예고하셨다.

	거짓 선지자들의 심판(23:33-23:40)

この民，あるいは預言者，あるいは祭司が，『主の宣告とは何か．』とあなたに尋ねたら，あなたは彼らに，『あなたがたが重荷だ．だから，わたしはあなたがたを捨てる．』と言え． ··主の御告げ． ··

預言者でも，祭司でも，民でも，『主の宣告．』と言う者があれば，その者とその家とを，わたしは罰する．」

あなたがたは互いに「主は何と答えられたか．主は何と語られたか．」と言うがよい．

しかし「主の宣告．」ということを二度と述べてはならない．主のことばが人の重荷となり，あなたがたが，生ける神，万軍の主，私たちの神のことばを曲げるからだ．

「あの預言者たちにこう言え．主は何と答えられたか．主は何と語られたか．

"Now when this people or the prophet or a priest asks you saying, 'What is the oracle of the LORD?' then you shall say to them, 'What oracle?' The LORD declares, 'I will abandon you.'

"Then as for the prophet or the priest or the people who say, 'The oracle of the LORD,' I will bring punishment upon that man and his household.

"Thus will each of you say to his neighbor and to his brother, 'What has the LORD answered?' or, 'What has the LORD spoken?'

"For you will no longer remember the oracle of the LORD, because every man's own word will become the oracle, and you have perverted the words of the living God, the LORD of hosts, our God.

"Thus you will say to that prophet, 'What has the LORD answered you?' and, 'What has the LORD spoken?'

もし，あなたがたが『主の宣告．』と言うなら，それに對して，主はこう仰せられる．『わたしはあなたがたに，主の宣告，と言うなと言い送ったのに，あなたがたは主の宣告というこのことばを語っている．

それゆえ，見よ，わたしはあなたがたを全く忘れ，あなたがたと，あなたがたや先祖たちに與えたこの町とを，わたしの前から捨て，

永遠のそしり，忘れられることのない，永遠の侮辱をあなたがたに與える．』」

"For if you say, 'The oracle of the LORD!' surely thus says the LORD, 'Because you said this word, "The oracle of the LORD!" I have also sent to you, saying, "You shall not say, 'The oracle of the LORD!'"'

"Therefore behold, I will surely forget you and cast you away from My presence, along with the city which I gave you and your fathers.

"I will put an everlasting reproach on you and an everlasting humiliation which will not be forgotten."

	무화과 두 광주리의 비유(24:1-24:10)

バビロンの王ネブカデレザルが，エホヤキムの子，ユダの王エコヌヤと，ユダのつかさたちや，職人や，鍛冶屋をエルサレムから捕え移し，バビロンに連れて行って後，主は私に示された．見ると，主の宮の前に，二かごのいちじくが置かれている．

After Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the officials of Judah with the craftsmen and smiths from Jerusalem and had brought them to Babylon, the LORD showed me: behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of the LORD!

One basket had very good figs, like first-ripe figs, and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten due to rottenness.

Then the LORD said to me, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" And I said, "Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad figs, very bad, which cannot be eaten due to rottenness."

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

"Thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans.

わたしは，良くするために彼らに目をかけて，彼らをこの國に歸らせ，彼らを建て直し，倒れないように植えて，もう引き拔かない．

また，わたしは彼らに，わたしが主であることを知る心を與える．彼らはわたしの民となり，わたしは彼らの神となる．彼らが心を盡くしてわたしに立ち返るからである．

しかし，惡くて食べられないあの惡いいちじくのように， ··まことに主はこう仰せられる． ··わたしは，ユダの王ゼデキヤと，そのつかさたち，エルサレムの殘りの者と，この國に殘されている者，およびエジプトの國に住みついている者とを，このようにする．

'For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land; and I will build them up and not overthrow them, and I will plant them and not pluck them up.

'I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.

'But like the bad figs which cannot be eaten due to rottenness--indeed, thus says the LORD--so I will abandon Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials, and the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land and the ones who dwell in the land of Egypt.

'I will make them a terror and an evil for all the kingdoms of the earth, as a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse in all places where I will scatter them.

'I will send the sword, the famine and the pestilence upon them until they are destroyed from the land which I gave to them and their forefathers.'"

	바벨론 포로와 열방의 심판(25:1-25:38)

ヨシヤの子，ユダの王エホヤキムの第四年，すなわち，バビロンの王ネブカデレザルの元年に，ユダの民全體についてエレミヤにあったみことば．

これを預言者エレミヤは，ユダの民全體とエルサレムの全住民に語って言った．

アモンの子，ユダの王ヨシヤの第十三年から今日まで，この二十三年間，私に主のことばがあり，私はあなたがたに絶えず，しきりに語りかけたのに，あなたがたは聞かなかった．

また，主はあなたがたに，主のしもべである預言者たちを早くからたびたび送ったのに，あなたがたは聞かず，聞こうと耳を傾けることもなかった．

主は仰せられた．「さあ，おのおの，惡の道から，あなたがたの惡い行ないから立ち返り，主があなたがたと先祖たちに與えた土地で，いつまでも，とこしえに住め．

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah (that was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon),

which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,

"From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty-three years the word of the LORD has come to me, and I have spoken to you again and again, but you have not listened.

"And the LORD has sent to you all His servants the prophets again and again, but you have not listened nor inclined your ear to hear,

saying, 'Turn now everyone from his evil way and from the evil of your deeds, and dwell on the land which the LORD has given to you and your forefathers forever and ever;

ほかの神¿に從い，それに仕え，それを拜んではならない．あなたがたが手で造った物によって，わたしの怒りを引き起こしてはならない．そうでないと，わたしもあなたがたにわざわいを與える．

それでも，あなたがたはわたしに聞き從わなかった． ··主の御告げ． ··それで，あなたがたは手で造った物でわたしの怒りを引き起こし，身にわざわいを招いた．」

それゆえ，万軍の主はこう仰せられる．「あなたがたがわたしのことばに聞き從わなかったために，

見よ，わたしは北のすべての種族を呼び寄せる． ··主の御告げ． ··すなわち，わたしのしもべバビロンの王ネブカデレザルを呼び寄せて，この國と，その住民と，その回りのすべての國¿とを攻めさせ，これを聖絶して，恐怖とし，あざけりとし，永遠の廢墟とする．

and do not go after other gods to serve them and to worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will do you no harm.'

"Yet you have not listened to Me," declares the LORD, "in order that you might provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.

"Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Because you have not obeyed My words,

behold, I will send and take all the families of the north,' declares the LORD, 'and I will send to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land and against its inhabitants and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them and make them a horror and a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

'Moreover, I will take from them the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

この國は全部，廢墟となって荒れ果て，これらの國¿はバビロンの王に七十年仕える．

七十年の終わりに，わたしはバビロンの王とその民， ··主の御告げ． ··またカルデヤ人の地を，彼らの咎のゆえに罰し，これを永遠に荒れ果てた地とする．

わたしは，この國について語ったすべてのことば，すなわち，エレミヤが万國について預言し，この書にしるされている事をみな，この地にもたらす．

'This whole land will be a desolation and a horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

'Then it will be when seventy years are completed I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation,' declares the LORD, 'for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it an everlasting desolation.

'I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations.

'(For many nations and great kings will make slaves of them, even them; and I will recompense them according to their deeds and according to the work of their hands.)'"

For thus the LORD, the God of Israel, says to me, "Take this cup of the wine of wrath from My hand and cause all the nations to whom I send you to drink it.

彼らは飮んで，ふらつき，狂ったようになる．わたしが彼らの間に送る劍のためである．」

そこで，私は主の御手からその杯を取り，主が私を遣わされたすべての國¿に飮ませた．

Then I took the cup from the LORD'S hand and made all the nations to whom the LORD sent me drink it:

Jerusalem and the cities of Judah and its kings and its princes, to make them a ruin, a horror, a hissing and a curse, as it is this day;

Pharaoh king of Egypt, his servants, his princes and all his people;

and all the foreign people, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines (even Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron and the remnant of Ashdod);

エドム，モアブ，アモン人に，

ツロのすべての王たち，シドンのすべての王たち，海のかなたにある島の王たちに，

デダン，テマ，ブズ，こめかみを刈り上げているすべての者に，

アラビヤのすべての王たち，荒野に住む混血の民のすべての王たちに，

Edom, Moab and the sons of Ammon;

and all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon and the kings of the coastlands which are beyond the sea;

and Dedan, Tema, Buz and all who cut the corners of their hair;

and all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the foreign people who dwell in the desert;

and all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam and all the kings of Media;

北國のすべての王たち，近い者も遠い者もひとりひとりに，地上のすべての王國に飮ませ，彼らのあとでバビロンの王が飮む．

「あなたは彼らに言え．『イスラエルの神，万軍の主は，こう仰せられる．飮んで醉い，へどを吐いて倒れよ．起き上がるな．わたしがあなたがたの間に劍を送るからだ．』

もし，彼らが，あなたの手からその杯を取って飮もうとしなければ，彼らに言え．『万軍の主はこう仰せられる．あなたがたは必ず飮まなければならない．

見よ．わたしの名がつけられているこの町にも，わたしはわざわいを與え始めているからだ．あなたがたが，どんなに罰を免れようとしても，免れることはできない．わたしが，この地の全住民の上に，劍を呼び寄せているからだ． ··万軍の主の御告げ． ··』

and all the kings of the north, near and far, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the earth which are upon the face of the ground, and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.

"You shall say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "Drink, be drunk, vomit, fall and rise no more because of the sword which I will send among you."'

"And it will be, if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you will say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "You shall surely drink!

"For behold, I am beginning to work calamity in this city which is called by My name, and shall you be completely free from punishment? You will not be free from punishment; for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth," declares the LORD of hosts.'

"Therefore you shall prophesy against them all these words, and you shall say to them, 'The LORD will roar from on high And utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will roar mightily against His fold. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, Against all the inhabitants of the earth.

その ¿ぎは地の果てまでも響き渡る．主が諸國の民と爭い，すべての者をさばき，惡者どもを劍に渡されるからだ． ··主の御告げ． ··

万軍の主はこう仰せられる．見よ．わざわいが國から國へと移り行き，大暴風が地の果てから起こる．

その日，主に殺される者が地の果てから地の果てまでに及び，彼らはいたみ悲しまれることなく，集められることなく，葬られることもなく，地面の肥やしとなる．』」

牧者たちよ．泣きわめけ．群れのあるじたちよ．灰の中にころげ回れ．あなたがたがほふられ，あなたがたが散らされる日が來たからだ．あなたがたは美しい雄羊のように倒れる．

逃げ場は牧者たちから，のがれ場は群れのあるじたちから消えうせる．

'A clamor has come to the end of the earth, Because the LORD has a controversy with the nations He is entering into judgment with all flesh; As for the wicked, He has given them to the sword,' declares the LORD."

Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, evil is going forth From nation to nation, And a great storm is being stirred up From the remotest parts of the earth.

"Those slain by the LORD on that day will be from one end of the earth to the other They will not be lamented, gathered or buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.

"Wail, you shepherds, and cry; And wallow in ashes, you masters of the flock; For the days of your slaughter and your dispersions have come, And you will fall like a choice vessel.

"Flight will perish from the shepherds, And escape from the masters of the flock.

聞け．牧者たちの叫び，群れのあるじたちの泣き聲を．主が彼らの牧場を荒らしておられるからだ．

平和な牧場も，主の燃える怒りによって荒れすたれる．

主は，若獅子のように，假庵を捨てた．主の燃える劍，主の燃える怒りによって，彼らの國が荒れ果てるからだ．

"Hear the sound of the cry of the shepherds, And the wailing of the masters of the flock! For the LORD is destroying their pasture,

"And the peaceful folds are made silent Because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

"He has left His hiding place like the lion; For their land has become a horror Because of the fierceness of the oppressing sword And because of His fierce anger."

	세삭( 25:26) ‘바벨론’을 지칭하는 암호적인 이름. 심판이란 의미가 담겨 있음
