예레미야 26:1-27:22

 패역한 유다 백성들에게 하나님의 심판을 선포하면서 회개를 촉구했다는 이유로 예레미야는 유다 지도자들로부터 위협을 받았으나 아히감의 보호로 죽음을 면했다. 예레미야는 줄과 멍에를 목에 얹고서 다시 한 번 이방 열국에게 바벨론에 항복할 것을 권면했으며, 시드기야 왕과 유다 백성들에게 거짓 선지자들의 말에 속지 말고 바벨론에 항복할 것을 권고했다.
  
  핍박받는 예레미야(26:1-26:24)    
 
  1. ヨシヤ の 子， ユダ の 王 エホヤキム の 治世の 初めに， 主から 次のようなことばがあった．
  2. 「主はこう 仰せられる． 主の 宮の 庭に 立ち， 主の 宮に 禮拜しに 來る ユダ のすべての 町の 者に， わたしがあなたに 語れと 命じたことばを 殘らず 語れ． 一言も 省くな．
  3. 彼らがそれを 聞いて， それぞれ 惡の 道から 立ち 返るかもしれない． そうすれば， わたしは， 彼らの 惡い 行ないのために 彼らに 下そうと 考えていたわざわいを 思い 直そう．
  4. だから 彼らに 言え． 『主はこう 仰せられる． もし， あなたがたがわたしに 聞き 從わず， あなたがたの 前に 置いたわたしの 律法に 步まず，
  5. わたしがあなたがたに 早くからたびたび 送っているわたしのしもべである 預言者たちのことばに 聞き 從わないなら， ··あなたがたは 聞かなかった． ··
  1. In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came from the LORD, saying,
  2. "Thus says the LORD, 'Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak to all the cities of Judah who have come to worship in the LORD'S house all the words that I have commanded you to speak to them Do not omit a word!
  3. 'Perhaps they will listen and everyone will turn from his evil way, that I may repent of the calamity which I am planning to do to them because of the evil of their deeds.'
  4. "And you will say to them, 'Thus says the LORD, "If you will not listen to Me, to walk in My law which I have set before you,
  5. to listen to the words of My servants the prophets, whom I have been sending to you again and again, but you have not listened;
  1. わたしはこの 宮を シロ のようにし， この 町を 地の 万國ののろいとする． 』」
  2. 祭司と 預言者とすべての 民は， エレミヤ がこのことばを 主の 宮で 語っているのを 聞いた．
  3. 主がすべての 民に 語れと 命じたことをみな， エレミヤ が 語り 終えたとき， 祭司と 預言者とすべての 民は 彼を 捕えて 言った． 「あなたは 必ず 死ななければならない．
  4. なぜ， 主の 御名により， この 宮が シロ のようになり， この 町もだれも 住む 者のいない 廢墟となると 言って 預言したのか． 」こうしてすべての 民が エレミヤ を 攻擊しに， 主の 宮に 集まった．

  1. then I will make this house like Shiloh, and this city I will make a curse to all the nations of the earth."'"
  2. The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
  3. When Jeremiah finished speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, "You must die!
  4. "Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD saying, 'This house will be like Shiloh and this city will be desolate, without inhabitant'?" And all the people gathered about Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
  5. When the officials of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king's house to the house of the LORD and sat in the entrance of the New Gate of the LORD'S house.
  1. 祭司や 預言者たちは， 首長たちやすべての 民に 次のように 言った． 「この 者は 死刑に 當たる． 彼がこの 町に 對して， あなたがたが 自分の 耳で 聞いたとおりの 預言をしたからだ． 」
  2. エレミヤ は， すべての 首長とすべての 民に 告げてこう 言った． 「主が， あなたがたの 聞いたすべてのことばを， この 宮とこの 町に 對して 預言するよう， 私を 遣わされたのです．

  1. Then the priests and the prophets spoke to the officials and to all the people, saying, "A death sentence for this man! For he has prophesied against this city as you have heard in your hearing."
  2. Then Jeremiah spoke to all the officials and to all the people, saying, "The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.
  3. "Now therefore amend your ways and your deeds and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will change His mind about the misfortune which He has pronounced against you.
  4. "But as for me, behold, I am in your hands; do with me as is good and right in your sight.
  5. "Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood on yourselves, and on this city and on its inhabitants; for truly the LORD has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing."
  1. すると， 首長たちとすべての 民は， 祭司や 預言者たちに 言った． 「この 人は 死刑に 當たらない． 私たちの 神， 主の 名によって， 彼は 私たちに 語ったのだから． 」
  2. それで， その 地の 長老たちの 幾人かが 立って， 民の 全集團に 語って 言った．

  1. Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets, "No death sentence for this man! For he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God."
  2. Then some of the elders of the land rose up and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying,
  3. "Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, 'Thus the LORD of hosts has said, "Zion will be plowed as a field, And Jerusalem will become ruins, And the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest."'
  4. "Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the LORD and entreat the favor of the LORD, and the LORD changed His mind about the misfortune which He had pronounced against them? But we are committing a great evil against ourselves."
  5. Indeed, there was also a man who prophesied in the name of the LORD, Uriah the son of Shemaiah from Kiriath-jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land words similar to all those of Jeremiah.
  1. エホヤキム 王と， そのすべての 勇士や， 首長たちは， 彼のことばを 聞いた． 王は 彼を 殺そうとしたが， ウリヤ はこれを 聞いて 恐れ， エジプト へ 逃げて 行った．

  2. Then King Jehoiakim sent men to Egypt: Elnathan the son of Achbor and certain men with him went into Egypt.
  3. And they brought Uriah from Egypt and led him to King Jehoiakim, who slew him with a sword and cast his dead body into the burial place of the common people.
  4. But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that he was not given into the hands of the people to put him to death.
 
  바벨론의 멍에를 메라(27:1-27:22)    
 
  1. ヨシヤ の 子， ユダ の 王 エホヤキム の 治世の 初めに， 主から エレミヤ に 次のようなことばがあった．
  2. 主は 私にこう 仰せられる． 「あなたはなわとかせとを 作り， それをあなたの 首につけよ．
  3. そうして， エルサレム の ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ のところに 來る 使者たちによって， エドム の 王， モアブ の 王， アモン 人の 王， ツロ の 王， シドン の 王に 傳言を 送り，
  4. 彼らがそれぞれの 主君に 次のことを 言うように 命じよ． 『イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主は， こう 仰せられる． あなたがたは 主君にこう 言え．
  5. わたしは， 大いなる 力と， 伸ばした 腕とをもって， 地と， 地の 面にいる 人間と ¿とを 造った． それで， わたしの 見る 目にかなった 者に， この 地を 與えるのだ．
  1. In the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying--
  2. thus says the LORD to me--"Make for yourself bonds and yokes and put them on your neck,
  3. and send word to the king of Edom, to the king of Moab, to the king of the sons of Ammon, to the king of Tyre and to the king of Sidon by the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
  4. "Command them to go to their masters, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, thus you shall say to your masters,
  5. "I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.
  1. 今， わたしは， これらすべての 國をわたしのしもべ， バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル の 手に 與え， 野の ¿も 彼に 與えて 仕えさせる．
  2. ··彼の 國に 時が 來るまで， すべての 國は， 彼と， その 子と， その 子の 子に 仕えよう． しかし 時が 來ると， 多くの 民や 大王たちが 彼を 自分たちの 奴隷とする． ··
  3. バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル に 仕えず， また バビロン の 王のくびきに 首を 差し 出さない 民や 王國があれば， わたしはその 民を 劍と， ききんと， 疫病で 罰し， ··主の 御告げ． ··彼らを 彼の 手で 皆殺しにする．

  1. "Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I have given him also the wild animals of the field to serve him.
  2. "All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will make him their servant.
  3. "It will be, that the nation or the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, with famine and with pestilence," declares the LORD, "until I have destroyed it by his hand.
  4. "But as for you, do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your soothsayers or your sorcerers who speak to you, saying, 'You will not serve the king of Babylon.'
  5. "For they prophesy a lie to you in order to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you out and you will perish.
  1. しかし， バビロン の 王のくびきに 首を 差し 出して 彼に 仕える 民を， わたしはその 土地にいこわせる． ··主の 御告げ． ··こうして， その 土地を 耕し， その 中に 住む． 』」

  1. "But the nation which will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let remain on its land," declares the LORD, "and they will till it and dwell in it."'"
  2. I spoke words like all these to Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, "Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him and his people, and live!
  3. "Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, famine and pestilence, as the LORD has spoken to that nation which will not serve the king of Babylon?
  4. "So do not listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, 'You will not serve the king of Babylon,' for they prophesy a lie to you;
  5. for I have not sent them," declares the LORD, "but they prophesy falsely in My name, in order that I may drive you out and that you may perish, you and the prophets who prophesy to you."
  1. 私はまた， 祭司たちとこのすべての 民に 語って 言った． 「主はこう 仰せられた． 『見よ． 主の 宮の 器は， 今すみやかに バビロン から 持ち 歸られる． 』と 言って， あなたがたに 預言しているあなたがたの 預言者のことばに 聞いてはならない． 彼らはあなたがたに， 僞りを 預言しているからだ．
  2. 彼らに 聞くな． バビロン の 王に 仕えて 生きよ． どうして， この 町が 廢墟となってよかろうか．

  1. Then I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, "Thus says the LORD: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, 'Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house will now shortly be brought again from Babylon'; for they are prophesying a lie to you.
  2. "Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live! Why should this city become a ruin?
  3. "But if they are prophets, and if the word of the LORD is with them, let them now entreat the LORD of hosts that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon.
  4. "For thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, concerning the sea, concerning the stands and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city,
  5. which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take when he carried into exile Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.
  1. まことに， イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主は， 主の 宮と ユダ の 王の 家と エルサレム とに 殘された 器について， こう 仰せられる．
  2. 『それらは バビロン に 運ばれて， わたしがそれを 顧みる 日まで， そこにある． ··主の 御告げ． ··そうして， わたしは， それらを 携え 上り， この 所に 歸らせる． 』」
  1. "Yes, thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of the LORD and in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem,
  2. 'They will be carried to Babylon and they will be there until the day I visit them,' declares the LORD 'Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place.'"
