- すぐれたことばは， しれ 者にふさわしくない． 僞りのくちびるは， 高貴な 人にはなおさらふさわしくない．
- わいろは， その 贈り 主の 目には 寶石， その 向かう 所， どこにおいても， うまくいく．
- そむきの 罪をおおう 者は， 愛を 追い 求める 者． 同じことを 繰り 返して 言う 者は， 親しい 友を 離れさせる．
- 悟りのある 者を 一度責めることは， 愚かな 者を 百度むち 打つよりもききめがある．
- ただ 逆らうことだけを 求める 惡人には， 殘忍な 使者が 送られる．

- 愚かさにふけっている 愚かな 者に 會うよりは， 子を 奪われた 雌熊に 會うほうがましだ．
- 善に 代えて 惡を 返すなら， その 家から 惡が 離れない．
- 爭いの 初めは 水が 吹き 出すようなものだ． 爭いが 起こらないうちに 爭いをやめよ．
- 惡者を 正しいと 認め， 正しい 者を 惡いとする， この 二つを， 主は 忌みきらう．
