베드로전서 2:11-3:7

 베드로는 나그네와 행인 같은 성도들은 국가의 위정자와 주인에게 순종하여야 한다고 강조했으며, 아내는 남편에게 순복하고 남편은 아내를 귀히 여기도록 권면하였다.
  
  나그네의 삶(2:11-2:17)    
 
  1. 愛する 者たちよ． あなたがたにお 勸めします． 旅人であり 寄留者であるあなたがたは， たましいに 戰いをいどむ 肉の 欲を 遠ざけなさい．
  2. 異邦人の 中にあって， りっぱにふるまいなさい． そうすれば， 彼らは， 何かのことであなたがたを 惡人呼ばわりしていても， あなたがたのそのりっぱな 行ないを 見て， おとずれの 日に 神をほめたたえるようになります．
  3. 人の 立てたすべての 制度に， 主のゆえに 從いなさい． それが 主權者である 王であっても，
  4. また， 惡を 行なう 者を 罰し， 善を 行なう 者をほめるように 王から 遣わされた 總督であっても， そうしなさい．
  5. というのは， 善を 行なって， 愚かな 人¿の 無知の 口を 封じることは， 神のみこころだからです．
  1. Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul.
  2. Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation.
  3. Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority,
  4. or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.
  5. For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.
  1. あなたがたは 自由人として 行動しなさい． その 自由を， 惡の 口實に 用いないで， 神の 奴隷として 用いなさい．
  2. すべての 人を 敬いなさい． 兄弟たちを 愛し， 神を 恐れ， 王を 尊びなさい．
  1. Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God.
  2. Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.
 
  그리스도의 고난(2:18-2:25)    
 
  1. しもべたちよ． 尊敬の 心を ¿めて 主人に 服從しなさい． 善良で 優しい 主人に 對してだけでなく， 橫暴な 主人に 對しても 從いなさい．
  2. 人がもし， 不當な 苦しみを 受けながらも， 神の 前における 良心のゆえに， 悲しみをこらえるなら， それは 喜ばれることです．
  3. 罪を 犯したために 打ちたたかれて， それを 耐え 忍んだからといって， 何の 譽れになるでしょう． けれども， 善を 行なっていて 苦しみを 受け， それを 耐え 忍ぶとしたら， それは， 神に 喜ばれることです．
  4. あなたがたが 召されたのは， 實にそのためです． キリスト も， あなたがたのために 苦しみを 受け， その 足跡に 從うようにと， あなたがたに 模範を 殘されました．
  5. キリスト は 罪を 犯したことがなく， その 口に 何の 僞りも 見いだされませんでした．
  1. Servants, be submissive to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are unreasonable.
  2. For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly.
  3. For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.
  4. For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,
  5. WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH;
  1. ののしられても， ののしり 返さず， 苦しめられても， おどすことをせず， 正しくさばかれる 方にお 任せになりました．
  2. そして 自分から 十字架の 上で， 私たちの 罪をその 身に 負われました． それは， 私たちが 罪を 離れ， 義のために 生きるためです． キリスト の 打ち 傷のゆえに， あなたがたは， いやされたのです．
  3. あなたがたは， 羊のようにさまよっていましたが， 今は， 自分のたましいの 牧者であり 監督者である 方のもとに 歸ったのです．
  1. and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;
  2. and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
  3. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.
 
  아내와 남편의 자세(3:1-3:7)    
 
  1. 同じように， 妻たちよ． 自分の 夫に 服從しなさい． たとい， みことばに 從わない 夫であっても， 妻の 無言のふるまいによって， 神のものとされるようになるためです．
  2. それは， あなたがたの， 神を 恐れかしこむ 淸い 生き 方を 彼らが 見るからです．
  3. あなたがたは， 髮を 編んだり， 金の 飾りをつけたり， 着物を 着飾るような 外面的なものでなく，
  4. むしろ， 柔和で 穩やかな 靈という 朽ちることのないものを 持つ， 心の 中の 隱れた 人がらを 飾りにしなさい． これこそ， 神の 御前に 價値あるものです．
  5. むかし 神に 望みを 置いた 敬 ·な 婦人たちも， このように 自分を 飾って， 夫に 從ったのです．
  1. In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives,
  2. as they observe your chaste and respectful behavior.
  3. Your adornment must not be merely external--braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses;
  4. but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
  5. For in this way in former times the holy women also, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands;
  1. たとえば サラ も， アブラハム を 主と 呼んで 彼に 從いました． あなたがたも， どんなことをも 恐れないで 善を 行なえば， サラ の 子となるのです．
  2. 同じように， 夫たちよ． 妻が 女性であって， 自分よりも 弱い 器だということをわきまえて 妻とともに 生活し， いのちの 惠みをともに 受け 繼ぐ 者として 尊敬しなさい． それは， あなたがたの 祈りが 妨げられないためです．
  1. just as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, and you have become her children if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear.
  2. You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
