	스가랴 4:1-7:14 스가랴는 여덟 가지 환상 중 다섯번째로 두 감람나무 사이의 순금 등대 환상, 여섯번째로 날아가는 두루마리 환상, 일곱번째로 에바 안의 여인 환상, 그리고 마지막으로 네 병거 환상을 보았다. 이어 대제사장 여호수아의 대관식을 거행하라는 하나님의 명령이 임했는데, 이는 여덟 가지 환상 중에 예표된 ‘순’과 마찬가지로 메시아를 상징하는 것이었다. 금식 제도가 계속 시행되어야 하는지의 여부를 묻는 벧엘 사람들의 질문에 대해 스가랴는 하나님의 답변을 전하였다.

	환상들과 금식(4:1-7:14)

私と話していた御使いが戾って來て，私を呼びさましたので，私は眠りからさまされた人のようであった．

彼は私に言った．「あなたは何を見ているのか．」そこで私は答えた．「私が見ますと，全體が金でできている一つの燭台があります．その上部には，鉢があり，その鉢の上には七つのともしび皿があり，この上部にあるともしび皿には，それぞれ七つの管がついています．

また，そのそばには二本のオリ ― ブの木があり，一本はこの鉢の右に，他の一本はその左にあります．」

さらに私は，私と話していた御使いにこう言った．「主よ．これらは何ですか．」

私と話していた御使いが答えて言った．「あなたは，これらが何か知らないのか．」私は言った．「主よ．知りません．」

Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and roused me, as a man who is awakened from his sleep.

He said to me, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven spouts belonging to each of the lamps which are on the top of it;

also two olive trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left side."

Then I said to the angel who was speaking with me saying, "What are these, my lord?"

So the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord."

すると彼は，私に答えてこう言った．「これは，ゼルバベルへの主のことばだ．『權力によらず，能力によらず，わたしの靈によって．』と万軍の主は仰せられる．

大いなる山よ．おまえは何者だ．ゼルバベルの前で平地となれ．彼は，『惠みあれ．これに惠みあれ．』と叫びながら，かしら石を運び出そう．」

ついで私に次のような主のことばがあった．

「ゼルバベルの手が，この宮の礎を据えた．彼の手が，それを完成する．このとき，あなたは，万軍の主が私をあなたがたに遣わされたことを知ろう．

だれが，その日を小さな事としてさげすんだのか．これらは，ゼルバベルの手にある下げ振りを見て喜ぼう．これらの七つは，全地を行き巡る主の目である．」

Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts.

'What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'"

Also the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

"The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

"For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel--these are the eyes of the LORD which range to and fro throughout the earth."

私はまた，彼に尋ねて言った．「燭台の右左にある，この二本のオリ ― ブの木は何ですか．」

私は再び尋ねて言った．「二本の金の管によって油をそそぎ出すこのオリ ― ブの二本の枝は何ですか．」

Then I said to him, "What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?"

And I answered the second time and said to him, "What are the two olive branches which are beside the two golden pipes, which empty the golden oil from themselves?"

So he answered me, saying, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord."

Then he said, "These are the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth."

私が再び目を上げて見ると，なんと，卷き物が飛んでいた．

彼は私に言った．「何を見ているのか．」私は答えた．「飛んでいる卷き物を見ています．その長さは二十キュビト，その幅は十キュビトです．」

すると彼は，私に言った．「これは，全地の面に出て行くのろいだ．盜む者はだれでも，これに照らし合わせて取り除かれ，また，僞って誓う者はだれでも，これに照らし合わせて取り除かれる．」

「わたしが，それを出て行かせる． ··万軍の主の御告げ． ··それは，盜人の家にはいり，また，わたしの名を使って僞りの誓いを立てる者の家にはいり，その家の眞中にとどまり，その家を梁と石とともに絶ち滅ぼす．」

私と話していた御使いが出て來て，私に言った．「目を上げて，この出て行く物が何かを見よ．」

Then I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, there was a flying scroll.

And he said to me, "What do you see?" And I answered, "I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits."

Then he said to me, "This is the curse that is going forth over the face of the whole land; surely everyone who steals will be purged away according to the writing on one side, and everyone who swears will be purged away according to the writing on the other side.

"I will make it go forth," declares the LORD of hosts, "and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will spend the night within that house and consume it with its timber and stones."

Then the angel who was speaking with me went out and said to me, "Lift up now your eyes and see what this is going forth."

私が，「それは何ですか．」と尋ねると，彼は言った．「これは，出て行くエパ ¿だ．」そして言った．「これは，全地にある彼らの罪だ．」

見よ．鉛のふたが持ち上げられ，エパ ¿の中にひとりの女がすわっていた．

I said, "What is it?" And he said, "This is the ephah going forth." Again he said, "This is their appearance in all the land

(and behold, a lead cover was lifted up); and this is a woman sitting inside the ephah."

Then he said, "This is Wickedness!" And he threw her down into the middle of the ephah and cast the lead weight on its opening.

Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and there two women were coming out with the wind in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens.

I said to the angel who was speaking with me, "Where are they taking the ephah?"

彼は私に言った．「シヌアルの地で，あの女のために神殿を建てる．それが整うと，そこの台の上に安置するためだ．」

Then he said to me, "To build a temple for her in the land of Shinar; and when it is prepared, she will be set there on her own pedestal."

私が再び目を上げて見ると，なんと，四台の戰車が二つの山の間から出て來ていた．山は靑銅の山であった．

第一の戰車は赤い馬が，第二の戰車は黑い馬が，

第三の戰車は白い馬が，第四の戰車はまだら毛の强い馬が引いていた．

私は，私と話していた御使いに尋ねて言った．「主よ．これらは何ですか．」

御使いは答えて言った．「これらは，全地の主の前に立って後，天の四方に出て行くものだ．

Now I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming forth from between the two mountains; and the mountains were bronze mountains.

With the first chariot were red horses, with the second chariot black horses,

with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot strong dappled horses.

Then I spoke and said to the angel who was speaking with me, "What are these, my lord?"

The angel replied to me, "These are the four spirits of heaven, going forth after standing before the Lord of all the earth,

そのうち，黑い馬は北の地へ出て行き，白い馬はそのあとに出て行き，まだら毛の馬は南の地へ出て行く．

この强い馬が出て行き，地を驅け巡ろうとしているのだ．」そこで彼が，「行って，地を驅け巡れ．」と言うと，それらは地を驅け巡った．

そのとき，彼は私にこう告げた．「見よ．北の地へ出て行ったものを．それらは北の地で，わたしの怒りを靜める．」

ついで私に次のような主のことばがあった．

「捕囚の民であったヘルダイ，トビヤ，エダヤからささげ物を受け取り，その日，あなたはバビロンから歸って來たゼパニヤの子ヨシヤの家へ行け．

with one of which the black horses are going forth to the north country; and the white ones go forth after them, while the dappled ones go forth to the south country.

"When the strong ones went out, they were eager to go to patrol the earth." And He said, "Go, patrol the earth." So they patrolled the earth.

Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying, "See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north."

The word of the LORD also came to me, saying,

"Take an offering from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah; and you go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have arrived from Babylon.

あなたは金と銀を取って，冠を作り，それをエホツァダクの子，大祭司ヨシュアの頭にかぶらせ，

彼にこう言え．『万軍の主はこう仰せられる．見よ．ひとりの人がいる．その名は若枝．彼のいる所から芽を出し，主の神殿を建て直す．

彼は主の神殿を建て，彼は尊嚴を帶び，その王座に着いて支配する．その王座のかたわらに，ひとりの祭司がいて，このふたりの間には平和の一致がある．』

その冠は，ヘルダイ，トビヤ，エダヤ，ゼパニヤの子ヨシヤの記念として，主の神殿のうちに殘ろう．

"Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

"Then say to him, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD.

"Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices."'

"Now the crown will become a reminder in the temple of the LORD to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen the son of Zephaniah.

"Those who are far off will come and build the temple of the LORD " Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you And it will take place if you completely obey the LORD your God.

ダリヨス王の第四年の第九の月，すなわち，キスレウの月の四日に，ゼカリヤに主のことばがあった．

そのとき，ベテルは，サル · エツェルとレゲム · メレクおよびその從者たちを，主に願うために遣わし，

万軍の主の宮に仕える祭司たちと，預言者たちに尋ねさせた．「私が長年やってきたように，第五の月にも，斷食をして泣かなければならないでしょうか．」

すると，私に次のような万軍の主のことばがあった．

「この國のすべての民と祭司たちに向かってこう言え．この七十年の間，あなたがたが，第五の月と第七の月に斷食して嘆いたとき，このわたしのために斷食したのか．

In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, which is Chislev.

Now the town of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regemmelech and their men to seek the favor of the LORD,

speaking to the priests who belong to the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, "Shall I weep in the fifth month and abstain, as I have done these many years?"

Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,

"Say to all the people of the land and to the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months these seventy years, was it actually for Me that you fasted?

あなたがたが食べたり飮んだりするとき，食べるのも飮むのも，自分たちのためではなかったか．

エルサレムとその回りの町¿に人が住み，平和であったとき，また，ネゲブや低地に人が住んでいたとき，主が先の預言者たちを通して告げられたのは，次のことではなかったか．」

ついで，ゼカリヤに次のような主のことばがあった．

万軍の主はこう仰せられる．「正しいさばきを行ない，互いに誠實を盡くし，あわれみ合え．

やもめ，みなしご，在留異國人，貧しい者をしいたげるな．互いに心の中で惡をたくらむな．」

'When you eat and drink, do you not eat for yourselves and do you not drink for yourselves?

'Are not these the words which the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous along with its cities around it, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?'"

Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah saying,

"Thus has the LORD of hosts said, 'Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother;

and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.'

それなのに，彼らはこれを聞こうともせず，肩を怒らし，耳をふさいで聞き入れなかった．」

彼らは心を金剛石のようにして，万軍の主がその御靈により，先の預言者たちを通して送られたおしえとみことばを，聞き入れなかった．そこで，万軍の主から大きな怒りが下った．

「呼ばれたときも，彼らは聞かなかった．そのように，彼らが呼んでも，わたしは聞かない．」と万軍の主は仰せられる．

「わたしは，彼らを知らないすべての國¿に彼らを追い散らす．この國は，彼らが去ったあと，荒れすたれて，行き來する者もいなくなる．こうして彼らはこの慕わしい國を荒れすたらせた．」

"But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing.

"They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the LORD of hosts.

"And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen," says the LORD of hosts;

"but I scattered them with a storm wind among all the nations whom they have not known Thus the land is desolated behind them so that no one went back and forth, for they made the pleasant land desolate."
