출애굽기 5:1-6:30

 모세는 바로 앞에 서서 이스라엘 백성을 보내어 광야에서 하나님께 절기를 지키게 할 것을 요청했다. 그러나 바로는 오히려 이스라엘 백성들의 고역을 더욱 무겁게 하였다. 이에 실망한 모세가 하나님께 기도하자 하나님께서는 다시 한번 이스라엘 백성을 구하실 것을 확신시켜 주셨다.
  
  바로와의 1차 대면(5:1-5:23)    
 
  1. And afterward Moses and Aaron came and said to Pharaoh, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'Let My people go that they may celebrate a feast to Me in the wilderness.'"
  2. But Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the LORD, and besides, I will not let Israel go."
  3. Then they said, "The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please, let us go a three days' journey into the wilderness that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God, otherwise He will fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword."
  4. But the king of Egypt said to them, "Moses and Aaron, why do you draw the people away from their work? Get back to your labors!"
  5. Again Pharaoh said, "Look, the people of the land are now many, and you would have them cease from their labors!"
  1. 그 후에 모세와 아론이 가서 바로에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀에 내 백성을 보내라 그들이 광야에서 내 앞에 절기를 지킬 것이니라 하셨나이다
  2. 바로가 가로되 여호와가 누구관대 내가 그 말을 듣고 이스라엘을 보내겠느냐 나는 여호와를 알지 못하니 이스라엘도 보내지 아니하리라
  3. 그들이 가로되 히브리인의 하나님이 우리에게 나타나셨은즉 우리가 사흘길쯤 광야에 가서 우리 하나님 여호와께 희생을 드리려하오니 가기를 허락하소서 여호와께서 온역이나 칼로 우리를 치실까 두려워하나이다
  4. 애굽 왕이 그들에게 이르되 모세와 아론아 너희가 어찌하여 백성으로 역사를 쉬게 하느냐 가서 너희의 역사나 하라
  5. 또 가로되 이제 나라에 이 백성이 많거늘 너희가 그들로 역사를 쉬게 하는도다 하고
  1. So the same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters over the people and their foremen, saying,
  2. "You are no longer to give the people straw to make brick as previously; let them go and gather straw for themselves.
  3. "But the quota of bricks which they were making previously, you shall impose on them; you are not to reduce any of it. Because they are lazy, therefore they cry out, 'Let us go and sacrifice to our God.'
  4. "Let the labor be heavier on the men, and let them work at it so that they will pay no attention to false words."
  5. So the taskmasters of the people and their foremen went out and spoke to the people, saying, "Thus says Pharaoh, 'I am not going to give you any straw.
  1. 바로가 당일에 백성의 간역자들과 패장들에게 명하여 가로되
  2. 너희는 백성에게 다시는 벽돌 소용의 짚을 전과 같이 주지 말고 그들로 가서 스스로 줍게 하라
  3. 또 그들의 전에 만든 벽돌 수효대로 그들로 만들게 하고 감하지 말라 그들이 게으르므로 소리질러 이르기를 우리가 가서 우리 하나님께 희생을 드리자 하나니
  4. 그 사람들의 고역을 무겁게 함으로 수고롭게 하여 그들로 거짓말을 듣지 않게 하라
  5. 간역자들과 패장들이 나가서 백성에게 일러 가로되 바로의 말씀에 내가 너희에게 짚을 주지 아니하리니
  1. 'You go and get straw for yourselves wherever you can find it, but none of your labor will be reduced.'"
  2. So the people scattered through all the land of Egypt to gather stubble for straw.
  3. The taskmasters pressed them, saying, "Complete your work quota, your daily amount, just as when you had straw."
  4. Moreover, the foremen of the sons of Israel, whom Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten and were asked, "Why have you not completed your required amount either yesterday or today in making brick as previously?"
  5. Then the foremen of the sons of Israel came and cried out to Pharaoh, saying, "Why do you deal this way with your servants?
  1. 너희는 짚을 얻을 곳으로 가서 주우라 너희 일은 조금도 감하지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
  2. 백성이 애굽 온 땅에 흩어져 곡초 그루터기를 거두어다가 짚을 대신하니
  3. 간역자들이 그들을 독촉하여 가로되 너희는 짚이 있을 때와 같이 당일 일을 당일에 마치라 하며
  4. 바로의 간역자들이 자기들의 세운바 이스라엘 자손의 패장들을 때리며 가로되 너희가 어찌하여 어제와 오늘에 만드는 벽돌의 수효를 전과 같이 채우지 아니하였느냐 하니라
  5. 이스라엘 자손의 패장들이 가서 바로에게 호소하여 가로되 왕은 어찌하여 종들에게 이같이 하시나이까
  1. "There is no straw given to your servants, yet they keep saying to us, 'Make bricks!' And behold, your servants are being beaten; but it is the fault of your own people."
  2. But he said, "You are lazy, very lazy; therefore you say, 'Let us go and sacrifice to the LORD.'
  3. "So go now and work; for you will be given no straw, yet you must deliver the quota of bricks."
  4. The foremen of the sons of Israel saw that they were in trouble because they were told, "You must not reduce your daily amount of bricks."
  5. When they left Pharaoh's presence, they met Moses and Aaron as they were waiting for them.
  1. 종들에게 짚을 주지아니하고 그들이 우리더러 벽돌을 만들라 하나이다 종들이 매를 맞으오니 이는 왕의 백성의 허물이니이다
  2. 바로가 가로되 너희가 게으르다 게으르다 그러므로 너희가 이르기를 우리가 가서 여호와께 희생을 드리자 하는도다
  3. 이제 가서 일하라 짚은 너희에게 주지 않을찌라도 너희가 벽돌은 여수히 바칠찌니라
  4. 이스라엘 자손의 패장들이 너희의 매일 만드는 벽돌을 조금도 감하지 못하리라 함을 듣고 화가 몸에 미친줄 알고
  5. 그들이 바로를 떠나 나올 때에 모세와 아론이 길에 선것을 만나
  1. They said to them, "May the LORD look upon you and judge you, for you have made us odious in Pharaoh's sight and in the sight of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us."
  2. Then Moses returned to the LORD and said, "O Lord, why have You brought harm to this people? Why did You ever send me?
  3. "Ever since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done harm to this people, and You have not delivered Your people at all."
  1. 그들에게 이르되 너희가 우리로 바로의 눈과 그 신하의 눈에 미운 물건이 되게 하고 그들의 손에 칼을 주어 우리를 죽이게 하는도다 여호와는 너희를 감찰하시고 판단하시기를 원하노라
  2. 모세가 여호와께 돌아와서 고하되 주여 어찌하여 이 백성으로 학대를 당케 하셨나이까 어찌하여 나를 보내셨나이까
  3. 내가 바로에게 와서 주의 이름으로 말함으로부터 그가 이 백성을 더 학대하며 주께서도 주의 백성을 구원치 아니하시나이다
 
  언약의 하나님(6:1-6:30)    
 
  1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for under compulsion he will let them go, and under compulsion he will drive them out of his land."
  2. God spoke further to Moses and said to him, "I am the LORD;
  3. and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name, LORD, I did not make Myself known to them.
  4. "I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they sojourned.
  5. "Furthermore I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant.
  1. 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 이제 내가 바로에게 하는 일을 네가 보리라 강한 손을 더하므로 바로가 그들을 보내리라 강한 손을 더하므로 바로가 그들을 그 땅에서 쫓아 내리라
  2. 하나님이 모세에게 말씀하여 가라사대 나는 여호와로라
  3. 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 전능의 하나님으로 나타났으나 나의 이름을 여호와로는 그들에게 알리지 아니하였고
  4. 가나안 땅 곧 그들의 우거하는 땅을 주기로 그들과 언약하였더니
  5. 이제 애굽 사람이 종을 삼은 이스라엘 자손의 신음을 듣고 나의 언약을 기억하노라
  1. "Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
  2. 'Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
  3. 'I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you for a possession; I am the LORD.'"
  4. So Moses spoke thus to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses on account of their despondency and cruel bondage.
  5. Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  1. 그러므로 이스라엘 자손에게 말하기를 나는 여호와라 내가 애굽 사람의 무거운 짐 밑에서 너희를 빼어 내며 그 고역에서 너희를 건지며 편 팔과 큰 재앙으로 너희를 구속하여
  2. 너희로 내 백성을 삼고 나는 너희 하나님이 되리니 나는 애굽 사람의 무거운 짐 밑에서 너희를 빼어낸 너희 하나님 여호와인줄 너희가 알찌라
  3. 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 주기로 맹세한 땅으로 너희를 인도하고 그 땅을 너희에게 주어 기업을 삼게 하리라 나는 여호와로라 하셨다 하라
  4. 모세가 이와 같이 이스라엘 자손에게 전하나 그들이 마음의 상함과 역사의 혹독함을 인하여 모세를 듣지 아니하였더라
  5. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  1. "Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the sons of Israel go out of his land."
  2. But Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, "Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me; how then will Pharaoh listen to me, for I am unskilled in speech?"
  3. Then the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the sons of Israel and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
  4. These are the heads of their fathers' households. The sons of Reuben, Israel's firstborn: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.
  5. The sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.
  1. 들어가서 애굽 왕 바로에게 말하여 이스라엘 자손을 그 땅에서 내어 보내게 하라
  2. 모세가 여호와 앞에 고하여 가로되 이스라엘 자손도 나를 듣지 아니하였거든 바로가 어찌 들으리이까 나는 입이 둔한 자니이다
  3. 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하사 그들로 이스라엘 자손과 애굽 왕 바로에게 명을 전하고 이스라엘 자손을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내게 하시니라
  4. 그 조상을 따라 집의 어른은 이러하니라 이스라엘의 장자 르우벤의 아들 하녹과 발루와 헤스론과 갈미니 이들은 르우벤의 족장이요
  5. 시므온의 아들 여무엘과 야민과 오핫과 야긴과 소할과 가나안 여인의 소생 사울이니 이들은 시므온의 족장이요
  1. These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari; and the length of Levi's life was one hundred and thirty-seven years.
  2. The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.
  3. The sons of Kohath: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel; and the length of Kohath's life was one hundred and thirty-three years.
  4. The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.
  5. Amram married his father's sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the length of Amram's life was one hundred and thirty-seven years.
  1. 레위의 아들들의 이름은 그 연치대로 이러하니 게르손과 고핫과 므라리요 레위의 수는 일백 삼십 칠세이었으며
  2. 게르손의 아들들은 그 가족대로 립니와 시므이요
  3. 고핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요 고핫의 수는 일백 삼십 삼세이었으며
  4. 므라리의 아들은 마흘리와 무시니 이들은 그 연치대로 레위의 족장이요
  5. 아므람이 그 아비의 누이 요게벳을 아내로 취하였고 그가 아론과 모세를 낳았으며 아므람의 수는 일백 삼십 칠세이었으며
  1. The sons of Izhar: Korah and Nepheg and Zichri.
  2. The sons of Uzziel: Mishael and Elzaphan and Sithri.
  3. Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
  4. The sons of Korah: Assir and Elkanah and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.
  5. Aaron's son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers' households of the Levites according to their families.
  1. 이스할의 아들은 고라와 네벡과 시그리요
  2. 웃시엘의 아들은 미사엘과 엘사반과 시드리요
  3. 아론이 암미나답의 딸 나손의 누이 엘리세바를 아내로 취하였고 그가 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말을 낳았으며
  4. 고라의 아들은 앗실과 엘가나와 아비아삽이니 이들은 고라 사람의 족장이요
  5. 아론의 아들 엘르아살이 부디엘의 딸 중에서 아내를 취하였고 그가 비느하스를 낳았으니 이들은 레위 사람의 조상을 따라 가족의 어른들이라
  1. It was the same Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, "Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts."
  2. They were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt about bringing out the sons of Israel from Egypt; it was the same Moses and Aaron.
  3. Now it came about on the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,
  4. that the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, "I am the LORD; speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak to you."
  5. But Moses said before the LORD, "Behold, I am unskilled in speech; how then will Pharaoh listen to me?"
  1. 이스라엘 자손을 그 군대대로 애굽 땅에서 인도하라 하신 여호와의 명을 받은 자는 이 아론과 모세요
  2. 애굽왕 바로에게 이스라엘 자손을 애굽에서 내어 보내라 말한 자도 이 모세와 아론이었더라
  3. 여호와께서 애굽 땅에서 모세에게 말씀하시던 날에
  4. 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대 나는 여호와라 내가 네게 이르는 바를 너는 애굽왕 바로에게 다 고하라
  5. 모세가 여호와 앞에서 고하되 나는 입이 둔한 자이오니 바로가 어찌 나를 들으리이까
