역대하 8:1-9:31

 솔로몬의 지혜로운 통치로 말미암아 정치, 경제, 종교, 각 방면으로 부강한 나라가 되었다. 그의 명성을 듣고 방문한 스바 여왕은 솔로몬의 지혜와 부귀 영화에 탄복하고 돌아갔다.
  
  솔로몬의 업적들(8:1-8:18)    
 
  1. Now it came about at the end of the twenty years in which Solomon had built the house of the LORD and his own house
  2. that he built the cities which Huram had given to him, and settled the sons of Israel there.
  3. Then Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and captured it.
  4. He built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the storage cities which he had built in Hamath.
  5. He also built upper Beth-horon and lower Beth-horon, fortified cities with walls, gates and bars;
  1. 솔로몬이 여호와의 전과 자기의 궁궐을 이십년 동안에 건축하기를 마치고
  2. 후람이 자기에게 준 성읍들을 다시 건축하여 이스라엘 자손으로 거기 거하게 하니라
  3. 솔로몬이 가서 하맛소바를 쳐서 취하고
  4. 또 광야에서 다드몰을 건축하고 하맛에서 모든 국고성을 건축하고
  5. 또 윗 벧호론과 아래 벧호론을 건축하되 성과 문과 문빗장이 있게 하여 견고한 성읍을 삼고
  1. and Baalath and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots and cities for his horsemen, and all that it pleased Solomon to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land under his rule.
  2. All of the people who were left of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel,
  3. namely, from their descendants who were left after them in the land whom the sons of Israel had not destroyed, them Solomon raised as forced laborers to this day.
  4. But Solomon did not make slaves for his work from the sons of Israel; they were men of war, his chief captains and commanders of his chariots and his horsemen.
  5. These were the chief officers of King Solomon, two hundred and fifty who ruled over the people.
  1. 또 바알랏과 자기에게 있는 모든 국고성과 모든 병거성과 마병의 성들을 건축하고 솔로몬이 또 예루살렘과 레바논과 그 다스리는 온 땅에 건축하고자 하던 것을 다 건축하니라
  2. 무릇 이스라엘이 아닌 헷 족속과 아모리 족속과 브리스 족속과 히위 족속과 여부스 족속의 남아 있는자
  3. 곧 이스라엘 자손이 다 멸하지 못하였으므로 그 땅에 남아 있는 그 자손들을 솔로몬이 역군을 삼아 오늘날까지 이르렀으되
  4. 오직 이스라엘 자손은 솔로몬이 노예를 삼아 일을 시키지 아니하였으니 저희는 군사와 장관의 두목과 그 병거와 마병의 장관이 됨이라
  5. 솔로몬왕의 공장을 감독하는 자가 이백 오십인이라 저희가 백성을 다스렸더라
  1. Then Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the city of David to the house which he had built for her, for he said, "My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy where the ark of the LORD has entered."
  2. Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD which he had built before the porch;
  3. and did so according to the daily rule, offering them up according to the commandment of Moses, for the sabbaths, the new moons and the three annual feasts--the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Booths.
  4. Now according to the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their duties of praise and ministering before the priests according to the daily rule, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for David the man of God had so commanded.
  5. And they did not depart from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites in any manner or concerning the storehouses.
  1. 솔로몬이 바로의 딸을 데리고 다윗성에서부터 저를 위하여 건축한 궁에 이르러 가로되 내 아내가 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 궁에 거하지 못하리니 이는 여호와의 궤가 이른 곳은 다 거룩함이니라 하였더라
  2. 솔로몬이 낭실 앞에 쌓은 여호와의 단위에 여호와께 번제를 드리되
  3. 모세의 명을 좇아 매일에 합의한대로 안식일과 월삭과 정한 절기 곧 일년의 세 절기 무교절과 칠칠절과 초막절에 드렸더라
  4. 솔로몬이 또 그 부친 다윗의 정규를 좇아 제사장들의 반차를 정하여 섬기게 하고 레위 사람에게도 그 직분을 맡겨 매일에 합의한대로 찬송하며 제사장들 앞에서 수종들게 하며 또 문지기로 그 반차를 좇아 각 문을 지키게 하였으니 이는 하나님의 사람 다윗이 전에 이렇게 명하였음이라
  5. 제사장과 레위 사람이 국고 일에든지 무슨 일에든지 왕의 명한바를 다 어기지 아니하였더라
  1. Thus all the work of Solomon was carried out from the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was completed.
  2. Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the seashore in the land of Edom.
  3. And Huram by his servants sent him ships and servants who knew the sea; and they went with Solomon's servants to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and fifty talents of gold and brought them to King Solomon.
  1. 솔로몬이 여호와의 전의 기지를 쌓던 날부터 준공하기까지 범백을 완비하였으므로 여호와의 전이 결점이 없이 필역하니라
  2. 때에 솔로몬이 에돔 땅의 바닷가 에시온게벨과 엘롯에 이르렀더니
  3. 후람이 그 신복에게 부탁하여 배와 바닷길을 아는 종들을 보내매 저희가 솔로몬의 종과 함께 오빌에 이르러 거기서 금 사백 오십 달란트를 얻고 솔로몬왕에게로 가져왔더라
 
  솔로몬의 영광과 죽음(9:1-9:31)    
 
  1. Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with difficult questions. She had a very large retinue, with camels carrying spices and a large amount of gold and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was on her heart.
  2. Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was hidden from Solomon which he did not explain to her.
  3. When the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house which he had built,
  4. the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the attendance of his ministers and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and his stairway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, she was breathless.
  5. Then she said to the king, "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.
  1. 스바 여왕이 솔로몬의 명예를 듣고 와서 어려운 문제로 솔로몬을 시험코자하여 예루살렘에 이르니 수원이 심히 많고 향품과 많은 금과 보석을 약대에 실었더라 저가 솔로몬에게 나아와 자기 마음에 있는 것을 다 말하매
  2. 솔로몬이 그 묻는 말을 다 대답하였으니 솔로몬이 은미하여 대답지 못한 것이 없었더라
  3. 스바 여왕이 솔로몬의 지혜와 그 건축한 궁과
  4. 그 상의 식물과 그 신복들의 좌석과 그 신하들의 시립한 것과 그들의 공복과 술 관원들과 그들의 공복과 여호와의 전에 올라가는 층계를 보고 정신이 현황하여
  5. 왕께 고하되 내가 내 나라에서 당신의 행위와 당신의 지혜에 대하여 들은 소문이 진실하도다
  1. "Nevertheless I did not believe their reports until I came and my eyes had seen it. And behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You surpass the report that I heard.
  2. "How blessed are your men, how blessed are these your servants who stand before you continually and hear your wisdom.
  3. "Blessed be the LORD your God who delighted in you, setting you on His throne as king for the LORD your God; because your God loved Israel establishing them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness."
  4. Then she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold and a very great amount of spices and precious stones; there had never been spice like that which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.
  5. The servants of Huram and the servants of Solomon who brought gold from Ophir, also brought algum trees and precious stones.
  1. 내가 그 말들을 믿지 아니하였더니 이제 와서 목도한즉 당신의 지혜가 크다 한 말이 그 절반도 못 되니 당신은 내가 들은 소문보다 지나도다
  2. 복되도다 당신의 사람들이여, 복되도다 당신의 이 신복들이여, 항상 당신의 앞에 서서 당신의 지혜를 들음이로다
  3. 당신의 하나님 여호와를 송축할찌로다 하나님이 당신을 기뻐하시고 그 위에 올리사 당신의 하나님 여호와를 위하여 왕이 되게 하셨도다 당신의 하나님이 이스라엘을 사랑하사 영원히 견고하게 하시려고 당신을 세워 저희 왕을 삼아 공과 의를 행하게 하셨도다 하고
  4. 이에 저가 금 일백 이십 달란트와 심히 많은 향품과 보석을 왕께 드렸으니 스바 여왕이 솔로몬왕께 드린 향품 같은 것이 전에는 없었더라
  5. （후람의 신복들과 솔로몬의 신복들도 오빌에서 금을 실어 올 때에 백단목과 보석을 가져온지라
  1. From the algum trees the king made steps for the house of the LORD and for the king's palace, and lyres and harps for the singers; and none like that was seen before in the land of Judah.
  2. King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire which she requested besides a return for what she had brought to the king. Then she turned and went to her own land with her servants.
  3. Now the weight of gold which came to Solomon in one year was 666 talents of gold,
  4. besides that which the traders and merchants brought; and all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.
  5. King Solomon made 200 large shields of beaten gold, using 600 shekels of beaten gold on each large shield.
  1. 왕이 백단목으로 여호와의 전과 왕궁의 층대를 만들고 또 노래하는 자를 위하여 수금과 비파를 만들었으니 이같은 것들은 유다 땅에서 전에는 보지 못하였더라）
  2. 솔로몬왕이 스바 여왕의 가져온대로 답례하고 그외에 또 저의 소원대로 무릇 구하는 것을 주니 이에 저가 그 신복들로 더불어 본국으로 돌아갔더라
  3. 솔로몬의 세입금의 중수가 육백 육십 륙 금 달란트요
  4. 그 외에 또 상고와 객상들의 가져온 것이 있고 아라비아 왕들과 그 나라 방백들도 금과 은을 솔로몬에게 가져온지라
  5. 솔로몬왕이 쳐서 늘인 금으로 큰 방패 이백을 만들었으니 매 방패에 든 금이 육백 세겔이며
  1. He made 300 shields of beaten gold, using three hundred shekels of gold on each shield, and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
  2. Moreover, the king made a great throne of ivory and overlaid it with pure gold.
  3. There were six steps to the throne and a footstool in gold attached to the throne, and arms on each side of the seat, and two lions standing beside the arms.
  4. Twelve lions were standing there on the six steps on the one side and on the other; nothing like it was made for any other kingdom.
  5. All King Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; silver was not considered valuable in the days of Solomon.
  1. 또 쳐서 늘인 금으로 작은 방패 삼백을 만들었으니 매 방패에 든 금이 삼백 세겔이라 왕이 이것들을 레바논나무 궁에 두었더라
  2. 왕이 또 상아로 큰 보좌를 만들고 정금으로 입혔으니
  3. 그 보좌에는 여섯 층계와 금 족대가 있어 보좌와 연하였고 앉는 자리 양편에는 팔걸이가 있고 팔걸이 곁에는 사자가 하나씩 섰으며
  4. 또 열 두 사자가 있어 그 여섯 층계 좌우편에 섰으니 아무 나라에도 이같이 만든 것이 없었더라
  5. 솔로몬왕의 마시는 그릇은 다 금이요 레바논나무 궁의 그릇들도 다 정금이라 솔로몬의 시대에 은을 귀히 여기지 아니함은
  1. For the king had ships which went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram; once every three years the ships of Tarshish came bringing gold and silver, ivory and apes and peacocks.
  2. So King Solomon became greater than all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
  3. And all the kings of the earth were seeking the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.
  4. They brought every man his gift, articles of silver and gold, garments, weapons, spices, horses and mules, so much year by year.
  5. Now Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots and 12,000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.
  1. 왕의 배들이 후람의 종들과 함께 다시스로 다니며 그 배가 삼년에 일차씩 금과 은과 상아와 잔나비와 공작을 실어옴이더라
  2. 솔로몬왕의 재산과 지혜가 천하 열왕보다 큰지라
  3. 천하 열왕이 하나님께서 솔로몬의 마음에 주신 지혜를 들으며 그 얼굴을 보기 원하여
  4. 각기 예물을 가지고 왔으니 곧 은 그릇과 금 그릇과 의복과 갑옷과 향품과 말과 노새라 해마다 정한 수가 있었더라
  5. 솔로몬의 병거 메는 말의 외양간이 사천이요 마병이 일만 이천이라 병거성에도 두고 예루살렘 왕에게도 두었으며
  1. He was the ruler over all the kings from the Euphrates River even to the land of the Philistines, and as far as the border of Egypt.
  2. The king made silver as common as stones in Jerusalem, and he made cedars as plentiful as sycamore trees that are in the lowland.
  3. And they were bringing horses for Solomon from Egypt and from all countries.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, from first to last, are they not written in the records of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
  5. Solomon reigned forty years in Jerusalem over all Israel.
  1. 솔로몬이 유브라데강에서부터 블레셋 땅과 애굽 지경까지의 열왕을 관할하였으며
  2. 왕이 예루살렘에서 은을 돌 같이 흔하게 하고 백향목을 평지의 뽕나무 같이 많게 하였더라
  3. 솔로몬을 위하여 애굽과 각국에서 말들을 내어왔더라
  4. 이 외에 솔로몬의 시종 행적은 선지자 나단의 글과 실로 사람 아히야의 예언과 선견자 잇도의 묵시 책 곧 잇도가 느밧의 아들 여로보암에게 대하여 쓴 책에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
  5. 솔로몬이 예루살렘에서 온 이스라엘을 다스린지 사십년이라
  1. And Solomon slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of his father David; and his son Rehoboam reigned in his place.
  1. 솔로몬이 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 부친 다윗의 성에 장사되고 그 아들 르호보암이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
