역대하 26:1-28:27

 웃시야는 통치 초기에 하나님 보시기에 정직하게 행하여 형통케 되었으나, 후기에는 교만한 마음으로 제사장의 고유 역할인 성전의 분향 사역을 대신하려다가 하나님의 심판을 받아 문둥병으로 일생을 마쳤다. 요담은 하나님의 전 건축 사업에 힘썼으며, 바르게 행하여 강성하게 되었다. 그러나 그의 아들 아하스는 하나님 앞에서 우상 숭배를 행함으로써 하나님의 진노를 일으켰다.
  
  웃시야의 통치(26:1-26:23)    
 
  1. And all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.
  2. He built Eloth and restored it to Judah after the king slept with his fathers.
  3. Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jechiliah of Jerusalem.
  4. He did right in the sight of the LORD according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
  5. He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding through the vision of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God prospered him.
  1. 유다 온 백성이 웃시야로 그 부친 아마샤를 대신하여 왕을 삼으니 때에 나이 십륙세라
  2. 왕이 그 열조와 함께 잔 후에 웃시야가 엘롯을 건축하여 유다에 돌렸더라
  3. 웃시야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십륙세라 예루살렘에서 오십 이년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 여골리아라 예루살렘 사람이더라
  4. 웃시야가 그 부친 아마샤의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하며
  5. 하나님의 묵시를 밝히 아는 스가랴의 사는 날에 하나님을 구하였고 저가 여호와를 구할 동안에는 하나님이 형통케 하셨더라
  1. Now he went out and warred against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath and the wall of Jabneh and the wall of Ashdod; and he built cities in the area of Ashdod and among the Philistines.
  2. God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians who lived in Gur-baal, and the Meunites.
  3. The Ammonites also gave tribute to Uzziah, and his fame extended to the border of Egypt, for he became very strong.
  4. Moreover, Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the Corner Gate and at the Valley Gate and at the corner buttress and fortified them.
  5. He built towers in the wilderness and hewed many cisterns, for he had much livestock, both in the lowland and in the plain. He also had plowmen and vinedressers in the hill country and the fertile fields, for he loved the soil.
  1. 웃시야가 나가서 블레셋 사람과 싸우고 가드성과 야브네성과 아스돗성을 헐고 아스돗 땅과 블레셋 사람 가운데 성읍들을 건축하매
  2. 하나님이 도우사 블레셋 사람과 구르바알에 거한 아라비아 사람과 마온 사람을 치게 하신지라
  3. 암몬 사람이 웃시야에게 조공을 바치매 웃시야가 심히 강성하여 이름이 애굽 변방까지 퍼졌더라
  4. 웃시야가 예루살렘에서 성 모퉁이 문과 골짜기 문과 성굽이에 망대를 세워 견고하게 하고
  5. 또 거친 땅에 망대를 세우고 물웅덩이를 많이 팠으니 평야와 평지에 육축을 많이 기름이며 또 여러 산과 좋은 밭에 농부와 포도원을 다스리는 자를 두었으니 농사를 좋아함이더라
  1. Moreover, Uzziah had an army ready for battle, which entered combat by divisions according to the number of their muster, prepared by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the official, under the direction of Hananiah, one of the king's officers.
  2. The total number of the heads of the households, of valiant warriors, was 2,600.
  3. Under their direction was an elite army of 307,500, who could wage war with great power, to help the king against the enemy.
  4. Moreover, Uzziah prepared for all the army shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows and sling stones.
  5. In Jerusalem he made engines of war invented by skillful men to be on the towers and on the corners for the purpose of shooting arrows and great stones. Hence his fame spread afar, for he was marvelously helped until he was strong.
  1. 웃시야에게 또 싸우는 군사가 있으니 서기관 여이엘과 영장 마아세야의 조사한 수효대로 왕의 장관 하나냐의 수하에 속하여 떼를 지어 나가서 싸우는 자라
  2. 족장의 총수가 이천 육백명이니 모두 큰 용사요
  3. 그 수하의 군대가 삼십만 칠천 오백명이라 건장하고 싸움에 능하여 왕을 도와 대적을 치는 자며
  4. 웃시야가 그 온 군대를 위하여 방패와 창과 투구와 갑옷과 활과 물매 돌을 예비하고
  5. 또 예루살렘에서 공교한 공장으로 기계를 창작하여 망대와 성곽 위에 두어 살과 큰 돌을 발하게 하였으니 그 이름이 원방에 퍼짐은 기이한 도우심을 얻어 강성하여짐이더라
  1. But when he became strong, his heart was so proud that he acted corruptly, and he was unfaithful to the LORD his God, for he entered the temple of the LORD to burn incense on the altar of incense.
  2. Then Azariah the priest entered after him and with him eighty priests of the LORD, valiant men.
  3. They opposed Uzziah the king and said to him, "It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron who are consecrated to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful and will have no honor from the LORD God."
  4. But Uzziah, with a censer in his hand for burning incense, was enraged; and while he was enraged with the priests, the leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, beside the altar of incense.
  5. Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous on his forehead; and they hurried him out of there, and he himself also hastened to get out because the LORD had smitten him.
  1. 저가 강성하여지매 그 마음이 교만하여 악을 행하여 그 하나님 여호와께 범죄하되 곧 여호와의 전에 들어가서 향단에 분향하려 한지라
  2. 제사장 아사랴가 여호와의 제사장 용맹한 자 팔십인을 데리고 그 뒤를 따라 들어가서
  3. 웃시야왕을 막아 가로되 웃시야여 여호와께 분향하는 일이 왕의 할바가 아니요 오직 분향하기 위하여 구별함을 받은 아론의 자손 제사장의 할바니 성소에서 나가소서 왕이 범죄하였으니 하나님 여호와께 영광을 얻지 못하리이다
  4. 웃시야가 손으로 향로를 잡고 분향하려 하다가 노를 발하니 저가 제사장에게 노할 때에 여호와의 전 안 향단 곁 제사장 앞에서 그 이마에 문둥병이 발한지라
  5. 대제사장 아사랴와 모든 제사장이 왕의 이마에 문둥병이 발하였음을 보고 전에서 급히 쫓아내고 여호와께서 치시므로 왕도 속히 나가니라
  1. King Uzziah was a leper to the day of his death; and he lived in a separate house, being a leper, for he was cut off from the house of the LORD. And Jotham his son was over the king's house judging the people of the land.
  2. Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first to last, the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, has written.
  3. So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the grave which belonged to the kings, for they said, "He is a leper." And Jotham his son became king in his place.
  1. 웃시야왕이 죽는 날까지 문둥이가 되었고 문둥이가 되매 여호와의 전에서 끊어졌고 별궁에 홀로 거하였으므로 그 아들 요담이 왕궁을 관리하며 국민을 치리하였더라
  2. 이 외에 웃시야의 시종 행적은 아모스의 아들 선지자 이사야가 기록하였더라
  3. 웃시야가 그 열조와 함께 자매 저는 문둥이라 하여 열왕의 묘실에 접한 땅 곧 그 열조의 곁에 장사하니라 그 아들 요담이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
 
  요담의 통치(27:1-27:9)    
 
  1. Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok.
  2. He did right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah had done; however he did not enter the temple of the LORD. But the people continued acting corruptly.
  3. He built the upper gate of the house of the LORD, and he built extensively the wall of Ophel.
  4. Moreover, he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and he built fortresses and towers on the wooded hills.
  5. He fought also with the king of the Ammonites and prevailed over them so that the Ammonites gave him during that year one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand kors of wheat and ten thousand of barley. The Ammonites also paid him this amount in the second and in the third year.
  1. 요담이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오세라 예루살렘에서 십 륙년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 여루사라 사독의 딸이더라
  2. 요담이 그 부친 웃시야의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하였으나 여호와의 전에는 들어가지 아니하였고 백성은 오히려 사악을 행하였더라
  3. 저가 여호와의 전 윗문을 건축하고 또 오벨성을 많이 증축하고
  4. 유다 산중에 성읍을 건축하며 수풀 가운데 견고한 영채와 망대를 건축하고
  5. 암몬 자손의 왕으로 더불어 싸워 이기었더니 그 해에 암몬 자손이 은 일백 달란트와 밀 일만석과 보리 일만석을 드렸고 제 이년과 제 삼년에도 암몬 자손이 그와 같이 드렸더라
  1. So Jotham became mighty because he ordered his ways before the LORD his God.
  2. Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, even all his wars and his acts, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
  3. He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
  4. And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.
  1. 요담이 그 하나님 여호와 앞에서 정도를 행하였으므로 점점 강하여졌더라
  2. 요담의 남은 사적과 그 모든 전쟁과 행위는 이스라엘과 유다 열왕기에 기록되니라
  3. 요담이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오세요 예루살렘에서 치리한지 십 륙년이라
  4. 저가 그 열조와 함께 자매 다윗성에 장사되고 그 아들 아하스가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
 
  아하스의 통치(28:1-28:27)    
 
  1. Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not do right in the sight of the LORD as David his father had done.
  2. But he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel; he also made molten images for the Baals.
  3. Moreover, he burned incense in the valley of Ben-hinnom and burned his sons in fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD had driven out before the sons of Israel.
  4. He sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills and under every green tree.
  5. Wherefore, the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Aram; and they defeated him and carried away from him a great number of captives and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who inflicted him with heavy casualties.
  1. 아하스가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십세라 예루살렘에서 십 륙년을 치리하였으나 그 조상 다윗과 같지 아니하여 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행치 아니하고
  2. 이스라엘 열왕의 길로 행하여 바알들의 우상을 부어만들고
  3. 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기에서 분향하고 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신 이방 사람의 가증한 일을 본받아 그 자녀를 불사르고
  4. 또 산당과 작은 산위와 모든 푸른 나무 아래에서 제사를 드리며 분향한지라
  5. 그러므로 그 하나님 여호와께서 아람 왕의 손에 붙이시매 저희가 쳐서 심히 많은 무리를 사로잡아 가지고 다메섹으로 갔으며 또 이스라엘 왕의 손에 붙이시매 저가 쳐서 크게 살륙하였으니
  1. For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah 120,000 in one day, all valiant men, because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.
  2. And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son and Azrikam the ruler of the house and Elkanah the second to the king.
  3. The sons of Israel carried away captive of their brethren 200,000 women, sons and daughters; and they took also a great deal of spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
  4. But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army which came to Samaria and said to them, "Behold, because the LORD, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, He has delivered them into your hand, and you have slain them in a rage which has even reached heaven.
  5. "Now you are proposing to subjugate for yourselves the people of Judah and Jerusalem for male and female slaves. Surely, do you not have transgressions of your own against the LORD your God?
  1. 이는 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 버렸음이라 르말랴의 아들 베가가 유다에서 하루 동안에 용사 십 이만명을 죽였으며
  2. 에브라임의 용사 시그리는 왕의 아들 마아세야와 궁내대신 아스리감과 총리대신 엘가나를 죽였더라
  3. 이스라엘 자손이 그 형제 중에서 그 아내와 자녀 합하여 이십만명을 사로잡고 그 재물을 많이 노략하여 사마리아로 가져가니
  4. 그 곳에 여호와의 선지자가 있는데 이름은 오뎃이라 저가 사마리아로 돌아오는 군대를 영접하고 저희에게 이르되 너희 열조의 하나님 여호와께서 유다를 진노하신고로 너희 손에 붙이셨거늘 너희 노기가 충천하여 살륙하고
  5. 이제 너희가 또 유다와 예루살렘 백성들을 압제하여 노예를 삼고자 생각하는도다 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와께 범죄함이 없느냐
  1. "Now therefore, listen to me and return the captives whom you captured from your brothers, for the burning anger of the LORD is against you."
  2. Then some of the heads of the sons of Ephraim--Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai--arose against those who were coming from the battle,
  3. and said to them, "You must not bring the captives in here, for you are proposing to bring upon us guilt against the LORD adding to our sins and our guilt; for our guilt is great so that His burning anger is against Israel."
  4. So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the officers and all the assembly.
  5. Then the men who were designated by name arose, took the captives, and they clothed all their naked ones from the spoil; and they gave them clothes and sandals, fed them and gave them drink, anointed them with oil, led all their feeble ones on donkeys, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brothers; then they returned to Samaria.
  1. 그런즉 너희는 내 말을 듣고 너희가 형제 중에서 사로잡아 온 포로를 놓아 돌아가게 하라 여호와의 진노가 너희에게 임박하였느니라 한지라
  2. 에브라임 자손의 두목 몇사람 요하난의 아들 아사랴와 무실레못의 아들 베레갸와 살룸의 아들 여히스기야와 하들래의 아들 아마사가 일어나서 전장에서 돌아오는 자를 막으며
  3. 저희에게 이르되 너희는 이 포로를 이리로 끌어 들이지 못하리라 너희의 경영하는 일이 우리로 여호와께 허물이 있게 함이니 우리의 죄와 허물을 더하게 함이로다 우리의 허물이 이미 커서 진노하심이 이스라엘에게 임박하였느니라 하매
  4. 이에 병기를 가진 사람이 포로와 노략한 물건을 방백들과 온 회중 앞에 둔지라
  5. 이 위에 이름이 기록된 자들이 일어나서 포로를 맞고 노략하여 온 중에서 옷을 취하여 벗은 자에게 입히며 신을 신기며 먹이고 마시우며 기름을 바르고 그 약한 자는 나귀에 태워 데리고 종려나무 성 여리고에 이르러 그 형제에게 돌린 후에 사마리아로 돌아갔더라
  1. At that time King Ahaz sent to the kings of Assyria for help.
  2. For again the Edomites had come and attacked Judah and carried away captives.
  3. The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the lowland and of the Negev of Judah, and had taken Beth-shemesh, Aijalon, Gederoth, and Soco with its villages, Timnah with its villages, and Gimzo with its villages, and they settled there.
  4. For the LORD humbled Judah because of Ahaz king of Israel, for he had brought about a lack of restraint in Judah and was very unfaithful to the LORD.
  5. So Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria came against him and afflicted him instead of strengthening him.
  1. 그 때에 아하스왕이 앗수르 왕에게 보내어 도와주기를 구하였으니
  2. 이는 에돔 사람이 다시 와서 유다를 치고 그 백성을 사로잡았음이며
  3. 블레셋 사람도 유다의 평지와 남방 성읍들을 침노하여 벧세메스와 아얄론과 그데롯과 소고와 그 동네와 딤나와 그 동네와 김소와 그 동네를 취하고 거기 거하였으니
  4. 이는 이스라엘 왕 아하스가 유다에서 망령되이 행하여 여호와께 크게 범죄하였으므로 여호와께서 유다를 낮추심이라
  5. 앗수르 왕 디글랏 빌레셀이 이르렀으나 돕지 아니하고 도리어 군박하였더라
  1. Although Ahaz took a portion out of the house of the LORD and out of the palace of the king and of the princes, and gave it to the king of Assyria, it did not help him.
  2. Now in the time of his distress this same King Ahaz became yet more unfaithful to the LORD.
  3. For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus which had defeated him, and said, "Because the gods of the kings of Aram helped them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me." But they became the downfall of him and all Israel.
  4. Moreover, when Ahaz gathered together the utensils of the house of God, he cut the utensils of the house of God in pieces; and he closed the doors of the house of the LORD and made altars for himself in every corner of Jerusalem.
  5. In every city of Judah he made high places to burn incense to other gods, and provoked the LORD, the God of his fathers, to anger.
  1. 아하스가 여호와의 전과 왕궁과 방백들의 집에서 재물을 취하여 앗수르 왕에게 주었으나 유익이 없었더라
  2. 이 아하스왕이 곤고할 때에 더욱 여호와께 범죄하여
  3. 자기를 친 다메섹 신들에게 제사하여 가로되 아람 열왕의 신들이 저희를 도왔으니 나도 그 신에게 제사하여 나를 돕게 하리라 하였으나 그 신이 아하스와 온 이스라엘을 망케 하였더라
  4. 아하스가 하나님의 전의 기구들을 모아 훼파하고 또 여호와의 전문들을 닫고 예루살렘 구석마다 단을 쌓고
  5. 유다 각 성읍에 산당을 세워 다른 신에게 분향하여 그 열조의 하나님 여호와의 노를 격발케 하였더라
  1. Now the rest of his acts and all his ways, from first to last, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.
  2. So Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, for they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel; and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.
  1. 아하스의 이 외의 시종 사적과 모든 행위는 유다와 이스라엘 열왕기에 기록되니라
  2. 아하스가 그 열조와 함께 자매 이스라엘 열왕의 묘실에 들이지 아니하고 예루살렘성에 장사하였더라 그 아들 히스기야가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
