- When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
- And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
- Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
- And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
- And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him,

- 예수께서 산에서 내려오시자 많은 군중이 뒤따랐다.
- 그 때에 나병환자 하나가 예수께 와서 절하며 "주님, 주님은 하고자 하시면 저를 깨끗하게 하실 수 있습니다." 하고 간청하였다.
- 예수께서 그에게 손을 대시며 "그렇게 해주마. 깨끗하게 되어라." 하고 말씀하시자 대뜸 나병이 깨끗이 나았다.
- 예수께서는 그에게 "아무에게도 말하지 마라. 다만 사제에게 가서 네 몸을 보이고 모세가 정해 준 대로 예물을 드려 네 몸이 깨끗해진 것을 사람들에게 증명하여라." 하고 말씀하셨다.
- 예수께서 가파르나움에 들어가셨을 때에 한 백인대장이 예수께 와서

- and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented."
- Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
- But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
- "For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."
- Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, "Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.

- "주님, 제 하인이 중풍병으로 집에 누워 몹시 괴로워하고 있습니다." 하고 사정하였다.
- 예수께서 "내가 가서 고쳐주마." 하시자
- 백인대장은 "주님, 저는 주님을 제 집에 모실 만한 자격이 없습니다. 그저 한 말씀만 하시면 제 하인이 낫겠습니다.
- 저도 남의 밑에 있는 사람입니다만 제 밑에도 부하들이 있어서 제가 이 사람더러 가라 하면 가고 또 저 사람더러 오라 하면 옵니다. 또 제 종더러 이것을 하라 하면 합니다." 하고 대답하였다.
- 이 말을 들으시고 예수께서는 감탄하시며 따라오는 사람들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "정말 어떤 이스라엘 사람에게서도 이런 믿음을 본 일이 없다.

- "I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;
- but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
- And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment.
- When Jesus came into Peter's home, He saw his mother-in-law lying sick in bed with a fever.
- He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up and waited on Him.

- 잘 들어라. 많은 사람이 사방에서 모여들어 하늘 나라에서 아브라함과 이사악과 야곱과 함께 잔치에 참석하겠으나
- 이 나라의 백성들은 바깥 어두운 곳에 쫓겨나 땅을 치며 통곡할 것이다."
- 그리고 나서 백인대장에게 "가보아라. 네가 믿는 대로 될 것이다." 하고 말씀하셨다. 바로 그 시간에 그 하인의 병이 나았다.
- 예수께서 베드로의 집에 들어가셨을 때에 베드로의 장모가 마침 열병으로 앓아 누워 있었다. 그것을 보시고
- 예수께서 부인의 손을 잡으시자 그는 곧 열이 내려 자리에서 일어나 예수께 시중들었다.

- When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.
- This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: "HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES."
- Now when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side of the sea.
- Then a scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."
- Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

- 날이 저물었을 때에 사람들이 예수께 마귀 들린 사람을 많이 데려왔다. 예수께서는 말씀 한마디로 악령을 쫓아내시고 다른 병자들도 모두 고쳐주셨다.
- 이리하여 예언자 이사야가, "그분은 몸소 우리의 허약함을 맡아주시고 우리의 병고를 짊어지셨다." 하신 말씀이 이루어졌다.
- 예수께서는 둘러서 있는 군중을 보시고 제자들에게 호수 건너편으로 가라고 하셨다.
- 그런데 한 율법학자가 와서 "선생님, 저는 선생님께서 가시는 곳이면 어디든지 따라가겠습니다." 하고 말하였다.
- 그러나 예수께서는 "여우도 굴이 있고 하늘의 새도 보금자리가 있지만 사람의 아들은 머리 둘 곳조차 없다." 하고 말씀하셨다.

- Another of the disciples said to Him, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."
- But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead."

- 제자 중 한 사람이 와서 "주님, 먼저 집에 가서 아버지 장례를 치르게 해주십시오." 하고 청하였다.
- 그러나 예수께서는 "죽은 자들의 장례는 죽은 자들에게 맡겨두고 너는 나를 따라라." 하고 말씀하셨다.
