- Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?
- Why are we also in danger every hour?
- I affirm, brethren, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
- If from human motives I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, LET US EAT AND DRINK, FOR TOMORROW WE DIE.
- Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."

- 그런데 죽은 이들을 대신해서 세례를 받는 사람들은 왜 그런 일을 하는 것입니까? 만일 죽은 이들이 다시 살아나는 일이 없다면 무엇 때문에 그들을 대신해서 세례를 받습니까?
- 또 우리는 무엇 때문에 언제나 위험을 무릅쓰면서 살고 있습니까?
- 형제 여러분, 나는 우리 주 그리스도 예수를 믿는 사람으로서 여러분을 나의 자랑으로 생각하며 이 말씀을 드립니다. 나는 날마다 죽음의 위험을 당하고 있습니다.
- 내가 설혹 에페소에서 맹수와 싸우는 위험을 겪었다 하더라도 그것이 인간적인 동기에서 당한 일이라면 내가 얻은 것이 무엇이겠습니까? 만일 죽은 자가 다시 살아나는 일이 없다면 "내일이면 죽을 테니 먹고 마시자." 해도 그만일 것입니다.
- 속지 마십시오. "나쁜 친구를 사귀면 품행이 나빠집니다."

- Become sober-minded as you ought, and stop sinning; for some have no knowledge of God I speak this to your shame.
- But someone will say, "How are the dead raised? And with what kind of body do they come?"
- You fool! That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies;
- and that which you sow, you do not sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat or of something else.
- But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.

- 정신을 똑바로 차리고 죄를 짓지 마십시오. 여러분 중에는 하느님을 모르는 사람이 있어서 부끄러운 줄을 알라고 이런 말을 하는 것입니다.
- 그러면 "죽은 사람이 어떻게 다시 살아나며 어떤 몸으로 살아나느냐?" 하고 묻는 사람이 있을지도 모릅니다.
- 어리석은 질문입니다. 심은 씨는 죽지 않고서는 살아날 수 없습니다.
- 여러분이 심는 것은 장차 이루어질 그 몸이 아니라 밀이든 다른 곡식이든 다만 그 씨앗을 심는 것뿐입니다.
- 몸은 하느님께서 당신의 뜻대로 지어주시는 것으로 씨앗 하나하나에 각각 알맞은 몸을 주십니다.

- All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fish.
- There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another.
- There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.
- So also is the resurrection of the dead It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;
- it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

- 모든 육체가 다 같은 것은 아닙니다. 사람의 육체가 다르고 동물의 육체가 다르고 새의 육체가 다르고 물고기의 육체가 또 다릅니다.
- 하늘에 속한 것들이 있고 또 땅에 속한 것들이 있습니다. 하늘에 속한 것들의 영광이 다르고 땅에 속한 것들의 영광도 다릅니다.
- 해의 영광이 다르고 달의 영광이 다르고 별의 영광이 다르며 또 별과 별 사이에도 그 영광이 다릅니다.
- 죽은 자들의 부활도 이와 같습니다. 썩을 몸으로 묻히지만 썩지 않는 몸으로 다시 살아납니다.
- 천한 것으로 묻히지만 영광스러운 것으로 다시 살아납니다. 약한 자로 묻히지만 강한 자로 다시 살아납니다.

- it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
- So also it is written, "The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL " The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
- However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.
- The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.
- As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly.

- 육체적인 몸으로 묻히지만 영적인 몸으로 다시 살아납니다. 육체적인 몸이 있으면 영적인 몸도 있습니다.
- 성서에 기록된 대로 첫 사람 아담은 생명 있는 존재가 되었지만 나중 아담은 생명을 주는 영적 존재가 되셨습니다.
- 그러나 영적인 것이 먼저 있었던 것이 아니라 육체적인 것이 먼저 있었고 그 다음에 영적인 것이 왔습니다.
- 첫째 인간은 흙으로 만들어진 땅의 존재이지만 둘째 인간은 하늘에서 왔습니다.
- 흙의 인간들은 흙으로 된 그 사람과 같고 하늘의 인간들은 하늘에 속한 그분과 같습니다.

- Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.
- Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
- Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
- For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.

- 우리가 흙으로 된 그 사람의 형상을 지녔듯이 하늘에 속한 그분의 형상을 또한 지니게 될 것입니다.
- 형제 여러분, 이 말을 잘 들어두십시오. 살과 피는 하느님의 나라를 이어받을 수 없고 썩어 없어질 것은 불멸의 것을 이어받을 수 없습니다.
- 내가 이제 심오한 진리 하나를 말씀 드리겠습니다. 우리는 죽지 않고 모두 변화할 것입니다.
- 마지막 나팔 소리가 울릴 때에 순식간에 눈 깜빡할 사이도 없이 죽은 이들은 불멸의 몸으로 살아나고 우리는 모두 변화할 것입니다.
- 이 썩을 몸은 불멸의 옷을 입어야 하고 이 죽을 몸은 불사의 옷을 입어야 하기 때문입니다.

- But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory.
- "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?"
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law;
- but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

- 이 썩을 몸이 불멸의 옷을 입고 이 죽을 몸이 불사의 옷을 입게 될 때에는, "승리가 죽음을 삼켜버렸다.
- 죽음아, 네 승리는 어디 갔느냐? 죽음아, 네 독침은 어디 있느냐?" 한 성서 말씀이 이루어질 것입니다.
- 죽음의 독침은 죄요, 죄의 힘은 율법입니다.
- 그러나 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리에게 승리를 주신 하느님께 감사합시다.
- 그러므로 사랑하는 형제 여러분, 굳건히 서서 흔들리지 말고 언제든지 주님의 일을 열심히 하십시오. 주님을 위해서 하는 노력은 결코 헛되지 않다는 것을 명심하십시오.
